Hands down the worst customer service. Was declining my calls for no reason to then walk into the restaurant and they are just picking the phone up and declining everyone’s calls. Never seen it in my life. Food is usually okay but won’t be going back after that. Shower of C**ts

Visited on 26th December 2024 at around 4 pm. I used the app to order food & drinks. Drinks arrived within a few minutes, and our food was within 10 minutes. Food looked and tasted delicious. Friendly staff.

I have been here a few times over the past couple of years, the only reason for returning is that they do an okay panini and it’s very handy for before or after a walk on the beach. I have never dared to try anything else on the menu and by the looks of other reviews this was a wise idea. I can’t write a review without first mentioning the toilets which are like something from a horror movie. Soaking wet floor, only one cubicle with a working lock, filthy bin with broken lid, brown liquid in the hand dryers and a terrible smell. They have been like this for several years it seems, and you would think they would have done something about it by now seeing as it’s their number 1 complaint. The toilets should actually be closed until they are refurbished and refitted, definitely a health and safety hazard. Staff seem miserable and removed from their customers. Hardly any eye contact or willingness to engage. My mother and I shared a small bottle of sparkling water which came with two dirty tenants pint glasses, even the bottle of water was dirty. I suppose anyone working here would be miserable. It’s incredibly dated, the food is mediocre and the facilities are horrendous. There is something very off about the whole place and I think having visited a few times we’ll be giving it a pass until there are improvements made. It could be a much better place given its perfect location overlooking the Isle of Arran and the proximity to the beach. I suppose it needs a major cash injection, until then…avoid!

Tasty food but poor delivery times, tiny portions and expensive prices. I complained twice privately to Zains in relation to my orders, chicken curries with 5 or 6 very tiny pieces of chicken and recieved no apology or response. My first complaint was as follows: Hey guys, hope you're having a good night? I've been debating on sending this but thought I should. I love your food but don't order that often as you're quite expensive but I ordered a mushroom pakora and a chicken curry with rice and both were amazing but the curry had hardly any chicken in it and I didn't get any free poppadoms or spiced onions. Considering it cost me £22.30 it was pretty disappointing...No response so added another complaint privately... Hey, so gave you another try tonight and ordered a curry with rice at £16.20, £4 delivery to Kilbirnie which is shocking. Another tasty curry but with 6 tiny bits of chicken. Really not ok. I never give you guys a bad review and I won't but I think this is pretty poor for your prices and extortionate delivery charges... Their response was...Hey hope your well, Firstly we want to investigate why this has happened with the chicken being short. Our chefs always give good portions to our customers compared to competitors. Our prices are we feel reasonable. We understand if you’re not happy but the prices these days of stock is so unbelievable expensive that we are considering putting our prices up even more . we want to hold off as long as possible but it’s getting harder every day. Our quality always speaks volumes so we judge our prices on our product. We understand it’s always hard justifying everything but for us it has to be the right price to survive. The delivery charge I’m so sorry with petrol going up and up the delivery drivers need to make money also. Our drivers are self employed so they have to make money in this current climate. We are again sorry but do wish you would keep using us, as you have mentioned the food is great but just think you’re paying for the quality and quantity. We know we can’t be beaten Ridiculous to be honest and yes they can be beaten. I live less than 3 miles away and will not order from here again

Online just eat order they sent a completely wrong order NONE OF MY IT3MS IN TH3 BAG AND YOU CANNOT CALL THEM ITS DISGUSTING AND IVE NOW NO MONEY AND NO FOOD

Usual Greggs standard- baguettes, steak bake, doughnuts & millionaire shortbread all thoroughly enjoyed

We have now visited nosh twice and the food is good but portions have definitely got smaller since our first visit. The food is very tasty and the service is great, would definitely recommend.

place was untidy ,tables needed clearing and food was not great generaly it did not give a good impression of the store or cafe

Ordered chips cheese and curry sauce and a burger with chips, first of all the burger tasted like cardboard and the chips were undercooked and bland, for the Chips cheese and curry sauce the chips was severely undercooked, the curry sauce tastes like paint with spices in it, the cheese was the only edible part but it had a hair in it. It was £12.50 for this diabolical food.

Thumbs up - it's back! (new owners Apr '25 must have changed name to the Courtyard Cafe) Tried this place again after taken over by new owners April '25 - I see they're open nights now too with proper pizza ovens for takeaways and expensive looking coffee machines - my large latte was best coffee have had in a while! Huge sausage rolls and steak-pies kind of like a more 'upmarket' Greggs, plus the restaurant seems to have been refurbed aswell. Staff v.friendly - previous staff in years gone by tried their best but were clearly scunnered with the way it was run in the past. Previous owner was always angry / cheeky, made 'mistakes' on the bill, and the food / service was disappointing to put it mildly(!) glad I've got another good place back now for good sit-in lunch and the occasional takeaway treat - went back to try their lunch, really friendly new owner guy and so went back for a pizza about 7pm - fresh and super tasty way better than some of the greasy chip-shops in Largs. Would def recommend. Will be back with the family next week for a sit-in meal :)

Went in today on a whim staff were friendly enough but the chips were disgusting and went straight in the bin it was as though they had been left over from last night and just been refreshed for the lunchtime service needless to say I won't be back

Top chippy. Never let me down yet. Wee bonus chicken steak with my nuggets. Banging as they say. Also ordered a half pizza supper for wife. Fab.
