China Palace in North Ayrshire

took a while and the chips in the order were way overcooked and inedible. prawn crackers while free, were stale and inedible.

Delivery was just shy of 3 hours late. Arrived cold. Ended up eating before it arrived. Such a waste! Full refund requested.

Been waiting 2 hours and still no food arrived.

Waited nearly 2 ours. Called to ask how long it would be and the call handler was rude.

phoned twice to check as just east said it had been delivered to be told it was going to be another 15 mins, an hour later so 2 hours since we ordered phoned back and was told we couldn't cancel our order and then they hung up. not impressed

Two hours later and food still not arrived Even after phoning the restaurant and was told it’s out for delivery. Extremely disappointing

Food Never arrived waited 2 hours and now won’t answer my calls. Was polite on call to them and no updates at all . won’t be using ever again

I always use China palace and is always amazing . . . But this time I am livid and won’t be back. Very late which I don’t mind as long as the food is at its usual amazing quality. Arrived stone cold, soggy chips bla bla bla. Staff was rude on the phone asking me not to shout, I wasn’t shouting (hence the bad review). Refused a full refund. I understand it can be really busy, but no need to be rude on the phone. Still waiting for an apology too!!!

It said my order has been delivered and it hasn't called the restaurant to be told won't be long waited 45 minutes phoned back to be told the delivery driver has to go back to restaurant I've waited over two hours. I would like to have compensation as its far to long to wait for dinner.

ordered chicken chow mein only had noodles and chicken no other veg or taste to it very bland and defo not a chow mein what's so ever can make a better 1 at home with veg and beansprouts bot worth ordering

I ordered from this Chinese last nite we got soup that was not good and then we ordered breast chicken curry and beef onion and we didn’t get fried rice my partner foned and said u needed to order rice separate if u where ordering that u think u get fried rice will never be back worsted Chinese in Kilwinning and I ordered it before 9 and didn’t get it till 10.30

Absolutely bamboozled & appauled at the fact I ordered at 8.32pm tonight and when phoning at 10:25pm being told that the ordered should be long. Still sat here10:48 as im typing this - no foodin sight, or even smell. Website now says they're shut. Only hoping food will arrive at somepoint tonight. Father is a diabetic and has been hanging on by a thread waiting to get to his bed holding off on medication not including insulin that he needs to eat first before taking. I too am on medication that is advised to be taken after food and an hour before bed have been holding off on taking. Food order isnt exactly the most confusing, nor is it a huge order. Chicken satay skewers, fried rice curry sauce with onions & a shredded crispy chicken in honey chilli sauce with chips. Wouldn't say I'm impressed at all at the time weve waited to eat. Probably the last I myself order from here too. Update 10:54pm the food has arrived. Will add comment on the food quality once it's been ate- if eddible. Chips are soggy yet leave your mouth dry af- sorta powdery potato inside. The batter on the shredded crispy chicken is congealed soft, mush with the chicken itself extremely chewy. Satay skewers- charred, bland, brown(?) Looks like cardboard. Rice curry sauce & onions-eddible

Been ordering here for years but tonight does it. Phoned as 1 hour 40 mins had passed and still no delivery to be told a load of excuses including roadworks in Kilwinning (funny they still accept your order with no mention of delays). When questioned why the food still hadn’t left the restaurant, the woman was very snappy and rude. It’ll be the last time we order from here, plenty of good places to order from.

chow mein showed up with no gravy and it was stone cold. soup was stone cold and basically water with some mushrooms and a chicken in it. absolutely abysmal. delivery took ages. even my bin didn't want it. never ordering from this dump again.

Chips were stone cold and could easily have stoves the cats head in with them chow mein was average all in all a wouldn’t order again.ps currently got the chips outside using them in my driveway as sleepers 😏

Massively disappointed with my order, I asked for no mushrooms in the chop SUEY and there was mushrooms in it,then the chow mein was extremely salty. I wish you would put what the ingredients are for the meals on the menu

Ordered food from here again. Yet again the food was freezing cold and congealed. Cheese omelette looked like it had been thrown about the kitchen. Chips arrived almost raw and freezing. If you can't even cook an omelette correctly, shut the doors. Update. Received a replacement omelette from them. Took one bite and had to run to throw up. Will be reporting this "eatery" to the food standards agency. Should not be allowed to sell food to anyone.

Wasn’t edible, waste of money! Chips were rock solid, hardly any curry sauce, just dry rice. Ribs were so dry! Disappointing

My delivery was 20 minutes late but was absolutely fabulous so definitely worth the wait! Will be ordering again! 😁🫶🏻

Ordered from here tonight. Sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style, nodules & chips. It was full off grease. Barely no no chicken just deep fried batter. Everything was disgusting. The worst takeaway I've ever had.

Placed an order at 6.55 pm and waited till 9pm before we actually received it. Called at 8.30pm to be told it was in the area and would only be a few mins. Called again at 8.55pm and told it was outside still waited a few mins before it was actually here. Food barely had a heat in it. Very disappointed

gave us the full wrong order, tried calling 4 times and they don't answer, i order from here often and it's never like that so maybe the drivers fault but still, have took pictures of it and requested a refund, a joke as we spent near £40 and ended up with 3 random things we didnt order and don't like

The pancakes disintegrated as you tied to seperate them, making it very difficult to eat/enjoy. The curry was way too hot, couldn't eat it. We have ordered both dishes previously without issues. Very disappointed as this was my 60th birthday meal :)

Thought we’d try somewhere new for us and not one of us could finish our meal. Waited 1hr 30mins. The chow main was slimy and the sauce wasn’t nice and couldn’t even touch the ham was way too soft and squishy, the rice tasted very old and couldn’t eat it. The prawns in the curry were cold but the curry was warm so assuming they just chucked them in? And every thing else was just unpleasant definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Food was stodgy, curry sauce was jellified. Went right in the bin after 2 mouthfuls .

Took 2 hours to deliver from time of order and seemed to be on the road for around 30 minutes from the time we were advised it was on its way. The food was too cold on arrival and had to be revived in the microwave. Thankfully, I was at home and had access to our microwave.

honestly I'm quite disappointed with our food, it arrived in a really decent time but the food felt like it had been sitting out for ages, it was so dry and hard that we could barely eat any of it. the taste was lovely but really lacking freshness.

Great tasty food, good portions and pipping hot. Well packaged too with the sauce having clingfilm round the tub to stop leaks.

What I ordered has prawns in it my husband cannot eat prawns it bring him out in rash

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had, salt and chillie munch box has no flavour, chips taste reheated, ribs were fatty and very hard on the meat, chios were also burnt there is no way this can be classed as Chinese food
