Avoid this dump! Curry was tasteless. Salt and chilli Chips were burnt. Chow mein was just a box of mush. Very Overpriced and absolutely rank rotten, disgusting food.

The absolute worst ribs I've ever had! Not 1 single good one just all bone and jelly totally disgusting, second and last time I'll order from here 👎

Absalute rotten food do not order from this lot spent 22 pound on a munchie box its was like cardboard everything over cooked and salted and the can a coke was warm ,never again

Our family have ordered from China Palace for the last few years. We always order through Just Eat. Delivery is always quick and food is delicious.

Ordered salt & chilli chicken and chips last night and my partner ordered special fried rice I was vomiting , sweats and shakes at around midnight after eating. My partner was feeling it the next morning. Won’t be ordering again and potentially put off Chinese food 🥲

We were going to be passing by so we ordered a meal for collection, as we haven't been in a while. It is only takeaway only now as the seating has been taken away? We arrived at the time stated when phoned but it wasn't ready, so we had to wait another 10 mins but when we got to the car we realised the curry sauce was missing so we had to go back. When we finally got home, we enjoyed our meals, they were piping hot and great sized portions. The only criticism was the curry sauce tastied peppery? Which I found odd but everything else was great.

Have ordered from here before and they ensured my meal was gluten free (celiac). Phoned to order tonight and was told they are too busy to make anything gluten free. Disgraceful customer service. Will not be back.

Waited 1 & a half hours, called the resturant, waited another 20 mins for the most depressing chicken with ginger & spring onion. Flavourless & big chunks of raw carrot. Worst take away experience ever by far.

Being on holiday thought this was one of the best takeaway. Pancakes rolls was awesome. It was so nice had a takeaway the following night.

Ordered lastnight. Food didnt appear to be of same quality as usual. Gave benefit of the doubt and ordered again tonight. Ordered my usual - honey and chill shredded chicken with fried rice. Food was delivered over 90 minutes later and it was wrong. I received a black pepper type sauce. Called the shop and they said they would send out correct order and would be 25 mins. Eventually arrived after closer to an hour. It was still wrong, no sticky honey sauce, no chillies, just watery red sauce with carrot and onion. Called again and asked if they had a new chef or under new management - as that would have explained the change in quality/ wrong order etc. was told no. Explained that i had received wrong order again. Man became extremely rude, refused to deal with complaint and hung up. Called back and had same response. Called back a 3rd time and they now wont answer. Up until tonight, we were regular customers. We will go elsewhere from now on!

No stars chips were microwaved the bag ripped in half from grease chicken balls cooked about 10 times gravy tasted like sugar really sweet .delivery driver left gate open won't be ordering again .food actual smelled like it was left out all night .

Food is good but delivery times are wild even when food hub says an hour. If you call it's often 'on it's way' but no explanation.

Just bought over £45 worth of food and while it was average at best, the thing I found a bit strange was the chicken noodle soup- without chicken. I mean has this restaurant got no pride in what it serves to its customers? Embarrassing and just underlines that they have no interest in their food or their customers, only making money. Will not order from this place again and would advise others to give it a wide berth!

Ordered a meal and was meant to arrive at 1945 tonight but still waiting for it to arrive. Phoned up to be told it would be another 20 minutes but Still nothing so phoned again to be told it was on its way. I’m still waiting absolutely disgusting 2 hours for a Chinese won’t be going back again

We ordered a family meal as it was mums 50th birthday and waited 2 hours with still no food. We tried to call umpteen times and was then hung up on. Very disappointed and will not be using this restaurant again. This put a dampener on my mums birthday. Really not happy. Actually raging 😡

Enjoyed freshly made Chicken in Mandarin Sauce, fried rice perfect. Curry sauce hot 🌶 but tasty. Salted Chilli Chips were yummy too 😋 stuffed now. Would definitely order from here again.

Collected food on 2/10/21. Had phoned and pre ordered for pick up. On getting home discovered we were missing our portion of chicken balls. We ended up with rice, chips and curry sauce chow mein and lemon chicken. Cost us £40. Bit much for rice and chips. Spent the night trying to get through on the phone engaged all night.My visitors were not impressed

We love ordering from China palace.. Their vegetarian Singapore noodles is my favourite and they make it perfectly everytime. Our order came 30 minutes earlier than expected which was perfect as I was counting down the minutes till arrival 😅 Thanks China Palace we are over the moon.. Ps their salt and chilli chips are delicious!

Best Chinese in the town, food is nearly always awesome, delivery times are always spot on or early. Great place, chicken could be diced smaller is the extent of anything negative I have to say

Worst place I've ever tried. Customer service is shambolic. Avoid. Tell you lies about delivery times. I waited more than 2 hours before I told them to just cancel. Also hung the phone up on me because they did not like me complaining and asking for my money back. Honesty costs nothing

Anyone thinking of ordering on a Saturday night should expect their order to arrive approximately Sunday lunch time. I understand places can be busy but this place must be making millions with the amount of orders😂

Char Siu Kung Po Style ... meat was hard and taste like old 2 month meat ... it was really bad expirience We spent £51 for really , really bad food ... don`t recomended this place !

The fact I can review only with one star is a joke should read zero. Order here if you love your food being delivered freezing cold and 2 hrs late. Then being offered absolutely nothing except to return the food, funnily enough the driver was extremely prompt in doing this... utter shambles of a restaurant don’t touch with a barge pole. Getting a refund was like trying to sneeze with your eyes open.

This was the best and freshest Chinese takeaway that my partner and I have ordered in a long long time. We’d never ordered from this restaurant before but decided a change from our local place as the quality had been lacking. We did not regret our choice! We ordered a portion of chips, boiled rice, salt and chilli shredded beef and sweet and sour chicken balls in batter. The chicken balls were ginormous and full of succulent, yummy chicken breast. The shredded beef was tender yet crispy and none of the chips/sauces that we had ordered to accompany could be at all faulted either. The consistency of the sweet and sour sauce could only be described as if it had been delivered and sent by the Gods themselves - everywhere else we have tried has been sorely lacking a decent sweet and sour sauce however China Palace has seriously managed to impress. I would not want to order my Chinese takeaway from anywhere other than here in the future and we look forward to trying an array of different dishes too.

I have had many Chinese takeaways but none can compare to this one.The portions are enormous and everything is so tasty..A very good take away menu and prices are very reasonable.Delivery is excellent.

Went here for food although I did have a European dish which was scampi and chips which were burnt and my dad had a chow mein which he said wasn't great either and to be honest the food wasn't worth the money.

Literally, shame on us for not having tried this little gem before. We live only 4 miles away and have always thought there was a lack of good sit in Chinese restaurants in the area.It was by searching TripAdvisor for a suggested place for supper that we made our decision. Although there was mixed reviews, we noted the most recent ones being mostly positive - so we made our way there. Greeted by a lovely waitress who was working on her own, we opted for the table buffet option - basically, order all that you like from the menu including soups, starters, mains & desserts and these will all be delivered in small portions as you make your own personally chosen buffet. From chicken & noodle soup, chicken & sweetcorn soup, prawn toast, Hong Kong style sweet & sour chicken and char siu in satay sauce to name but a few.The food was fresh, tasty and truly satisfying.With soups, starters, mains, desserts & 4 drinks all for under £35.00, you cannot knock this place. We'll be back again very soon......that's a promise!Thank you.

First time visit, we went for the table buffet and weren't disappointed, the lovely lass serving us recommended dishes I would never have thought of trying, (all made fresh and in small portions) so If there was something you really loved she encouraged you to order more, so to summise, had a great feed at a good price food all freshly made with good service.

Disgusted with the service, food was horrible and when we phoned up to complain and ask for a new order we are told no because they closed in 20mins there was nothing they could do, manger was checky, she put the phone down on us 4 times and refused to speak to us, then hung up on us twice, told us we wouldn't get a refund till tomorrow when they reopen because they were closing up. The women then refused to speak to us after hanging up on us again. I will never be ordering from here again, the gray tasted like sour sweets, was that sweet we couldn't even eat it. they should not be running a restaurant if they cannot please one customer. Not to mention my mother is disabled and very ill and the women was horrible to her on the phone and put the phone down on her and had the cheek to take our second order as if she was going to send it out to us and then hung up, DAY LIGHT ROBBERY Do not order from here.

Best salt and chilli chips ever. Would recommend. I choose those Chinese every time over any Chinese in Irvine. Only thing is delivery can be timely. But I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Waited nearly 2 hours for my beef and mushroom i apreciate its valintines night and very busy but never enjoyed the beef as it was very chewy :-( its the 1st time ive had a bad meal from here usualy the beef is cooked to perfection! Wish i hadnt ordered waste of cash tonight :-( sorry for the bad reveiw but im going on the meal tonight.

Disappointed that my order wasn't as i had asked for. I specifically noted no veggies and normally this isn't a problem but tonight my curry had onions with it. Not a major issue but it does affect the flavour and i also need to sift through the curry tediously avoiding onions. Just makes the whole take away experience poor. Not that i wont order again, just please pay attention to special instructions!

Had to refuse the order. it arrived 2 hours after i placed my order and wad freezing cold. This is the second time in a row, last time i was willing to write it off as a one off but now I'll never order from them again.

First time ordering. Food took 2 hours to arrive, chips were lukewarm and soggy at best and barbecued spare ribs had sauce over them when i had ordered them to be dry with some lemon on the just eat app. I will not be ordering from here again.

The delivery time can be rather long sometimes over an hour. However the food is good,n delivery staff always present. We do order from here a LOT and cant say we have ever had a bad meal.

Not 100% but was ok. I made a note to ask for no green pepper in my Sweet and Sour Chicken Cantonese Style however it was still in there. The chips were rather dry and tasteless. My friend's Chicken Fried Rice was alright. The Chicken Noodle Soup was brilliant.

Had a meal from here last week a beef chow mein it was lovely so ordered the same again this week and it was absolutely rotten the beef of that was what it was , was vile the noodles were all stuck together and dry ! Very disappointed

Salt and chilli chicken bites were really tasty, however I think they should come with rice, chips or noodles, works out quite expensive to add them separately to the order. The gravy on our ribs&chips with gravy was very sweet. Apart from that everything was nice

Over priced , took way over an hour for delivery, spent £21 for 2 meals and it it came with no rice , cold and horrible, don't waste your money on this place , why it's still open I don't know

Really enjoyed the meal and only reason delivery has 5/6 is because it ran a little over the estimated delivery time but not really bothered by this would still definitely order again in the future
