The food was very tasty and was piping hot when the driver delivered it.

Chicken and sweetcorn soup 8/10 Beef and mushroom 2/10(bland) Sweet +sour king prawn 3/10(balls soggy, sauce thick + vile) Cream of chicken soup 2/10(bland) Fried rice 6/10 Chips and gravy 0/10(dry reheated chips + very small spoonful of gravy) "Chow mein" 0/10(asked for no onion, extra beansprout. Came with no veg, called restaurant and was told it doesn't come with veg 🤔 shouldn't it be on menu as soft noodles then? Chow mein is noodles onion and beansprout! Asked for what I ordered to be sent and was told no, even though when I placed the order and asked for extra beansprouts I wasn't told it came with no veg. Terrible customer service! AVOID!!!

After my original go to Chinese restaurant was shut we decided to use here and ordered on Foodhub we ordered nearly £30 worth of food from here for the family. The soup was okay ? The chicken curry i plated instantly and started to eat straight away the curry sauce as you’ll clearly see on my photos I’ve provided is completely congealed!! It was thick and lumpy and utterly dreadful! The salt and chilli chips I must admit were very tasty but cost £4.50 a portion! After ordering all this I didn’t receive any prawn crackers?? Only Chinese I’ve ever known not to supply complimentary prawn crackers on orders over £10…..? Some local places (very nearby) actually give you spring rolls/ or ribs on orders over £15!!! I won’t be returning again unfortunately this place ain’t for me at all plus it’s also not the cheapest (far from it) you need to buy everything separately so you don’t get rice with any of the dishes I ordered the LARGE rice and it’s a standard normal portion which I get from my normal Chinese included with my meal!!!

Never had option to review on FOODHUB . Singapore chicken curry , fried rice , 2 x chips & plain chow mien … Well everything was great , BUT chow mien was extremely salty , very very dry . Not happy with plain chow mien . At least some oil or sauce … chow mien went In bin as as too salty 🙈

Salt and chilli prawn starter was amazing big prawns perfectly cooked. I also got sambal curry char sui, was perfect. nice spice, loads of curry flavour. New Jing best in Ayrshire at the moment if you ask me

Always get our beef, green pepper and black bean with noodles from here cos it’s always been the best but tonight we got the same as always and it was the worst we’ve ever had, the noodles were anemic looking and the black bean sauce is usually very dark and full of flavour but tonight is was paler and full of chilli seeds, there was that many that it went straight in the bin after a mouthful, very disappointed

Ordered from here as my normal takeaway is closed until next week so thought I’d give it a try. I ordered 2 meal boxes (chicken balls, chips and rice) one with curry sauce and one with satay sauce I personally asked for a lot of sauce and was more than happy to pay extra! The amount a sauce we got especially asking very nicely for extra sauce was shocking! For the sake of half a ladle of sauce surly you can keep customers happy? I use my own takeaway around 2/3 times a week so if it was good I’d of possibly of been a regular customer! Will never order from here again.

old chips-curry sauce lacked flavour-ate an eigth-what a waste of money even the waiting area is souless-cold and silent

I’ve always enjoyed my meals from here but tonight, it took a good while to arrive and all I can say, it was lukewarm.not really happy

Unfortunately this is one of the worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. The Singapore chow mein was obviously made by a cook who has never tasted the real thing,curry was ok but with both dishes meat was lacking. They even charge 5 pence for the takeaway bag. VERY DISAPPOINTING FOOD, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. SAVE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE 👎👎👎👎👎

We had a takeaway from Beijing City when we were in Saltcoats for the weekend, it was delicious. Chicken chow mein, chicken Cantonese style, chicken balls, chips, rice and gravy, all were delicious, thoroughly recommend

Food was lovely, nice tasting and a good size portion.

The teenager answering the phone needs an attitude check and also taught how to tell the time!!! If you want something from here order 3 hours in advance

Food is normally very nice but got one last night and was the worst Chinese i have ever had the curry sauce was very thick and like jelly was ill all day and only eat a little bit of it

Service is dreadful. The order was completely wrong. Customer service is a awful they were not willing to correct our order even though they got it wrong. And the food was not that great either.

My uncle was visiting from usa and on the final night we decided to have a extended family meal, bases on a pleasant previous experience I ordered from New Beijing City. First of all I spent over 12 minutes on the phone trying to order for a meal for 5 adults and 1 child - not the best of starts. When the order finally came after 45 minutes the order was wrong - I called straight away and said that the foods hat had been sent was wrong that I had ordered in seperate containers rather than the rice and sweet and sour in 1 small container -half a meal really - I was to.d that the driver would come and deliver a replacement. 20 minutes later the driver appeared - who I must say was a very nice person - and was told that we had to send back the food that had been delivered, I explained that this was not possible as 1 person is diabetic and another is a 3 year old child so they needed to have something to eat, when I rand the restaurant again I was told that "there was nothing that they could do and was I sure that I knew what I had ordered" I was offered No discount. No voucher. Nothing Headless to say I will not be back and would strongly discourage anyone else from ordering unless you want a COLD POT LUCK child's portion meal

Tonight we are at the Beijing city. I found the food to be disgusting and when I complained the staff told me that the chicken hadnt been cleaned properly. Would advise against this restaurant

Went to the New Bejing City restaurant tonight with my family. We were welcomed with a warm welcome. We went to the upstairs dinning which was lovely and clean and warm. We ordered, food took a short while to come but as we were in no rush it didn't bother us. When we received our food is was lovely. My son spilt his juice and we were offered another free of charge! As this is a non licenced premises you can take your own drink with no corkage to pay. We will back very soon.

Don't be put off by the ground floor section of this restaurant as there is a very pleasant dining area upstairs. The food is as good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Value for money and great taste. Quick service and friendly staff, it is a pleasure. I have visited regularly. Would wish it be a bit warmer when sitting in, can't wait to try more of the items available.

Was looking for somewhere to eat as we were just passing through and come across this small Chinese cafe, we seen a poster for a 2/3 course meals for £4.90 & £5.20. Theres only a few tables it wasnt that busy, I had the 2 course of 5 mini spring rolls with a little salad & sweet chilli sauce which were lovely then I had the special curry with fried rice was lovely I was full of just a 2 course. My hubby had bbq spare ribs top up withsalt & pepper extra 30p he said they were really nice then he had beef curry with fries which he really enjoyed as well. We couldnt believe what we got for the price well worth it they do take aways as well.

My partner and i phone for a takeaway once a week and so easy to order, when u put in your order in they know your address so phone is linked to it after the first time you call. We love it as we are not big eaters you can get a 2 course meal delivered for £5.80 for one, or 2 meals for £9.50. Main meal is in same container, example curry and rice in same container. More than enough to eat, i cant get through it. The nicest chinese meal i have ever ate and would highly recommend it.

Had a lovely three course lunch here last weekend for £5.20 Friendly staff and very tasty meal. Will return for another meal
