The best restaurants in North East Scotland

Lovely food and relaxing atmosphere. We messed up our booking (completely our fault) and they went out of their way to accommodate us. Recommend.

20 minute wait for food, if it took 40 minutes id still be happy, best bagel ever, nice atmosphere, worth the wait

Friendly staff, free wifi to work, coffee delicious and beautifully presented, food a bit disappointing. I know I only ordered a grilled cheese sour dough sandwich - and got what was on the tin. But it was a bit tasteless and I asked if they had black pepper or Sriracha sauce to give it a bit of seasoning and the lovely friendly waitress said no. I had walked from the train station especially to sample the coffee/food. I'd recommend for coffee only.

Food was excellent, was only about 5 mins later than expected but well worth it. We will definitely order again

Went mid-week and the menu we thought was a little bit limited. Maybe there are more options on weekends? The food we did order was first class though and my other half really enjoyed her cocktail. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and looked after us. Prices and portion sizes great too! We will be back

Great calm place with amazing drinks. They have a good range of alcohol at good quality. Very appealing interior. Person who designed it knew what they were doing. Staff is very polite and always smiling. I can't express enough how impressed I am.

Rangoli is our go to for Indian food. Everything is delicious !

Is it still operating normally now? I came here a few afternoons ago and found that the store was closed.

The tagline of this restaurant is proper Seafood and they are 100% correct! For a start, the setting is wonderful. It’s right on the pier and there is free parking just behind. Views both sides are beautiful and Stonehaven provides ample space to walk off a great dinner. The staff were professional, knowledgable and friendly and enhanced the experience. The drinks were great, both mocktails and wine and the bread and butter superb. The starters were divine! For me they were the best, the sauce with my mussels was excellent. Our mains were very tasty (Hake & the Turbot) and finished off with scrumptious desserts. We will definitely be back when up this side of the world again!
