Had a lovely take away from here.. probably one of the nicest in a long time. Food was very tasty, chicken and the beef was so tender! Definitely ordering again We did wait a bit, but it was so worth the wait.. no wonder, it's busy busy with other orders 😊

Great little bar with a selection of drinks on draught as well as takeaway. The owners were very friendly and helpful, even let us pick our own music to play! Certainly worth a visit if you're in the area and will definitely visit again.

Hidden Gem. If you are out this way this restaurant won’t disappoint. Lovely find before our train journey home. Greeted by lovely owners looked as though a small family business with a lovely menu and good could not fault ! I am gluten free and this place catered to Gf/Df and vegan ect. The food was delcious and worth every penny. The restaurant was a lovely atmosphere very posh and clean. The service was quick and we will be back again to try the lunch menu. 10/10

I went as a solo diner (my forst time so it was daunting especially in a new area!) But the staff were very accommodating and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all! Service was prompt (I hesitate to say almost too prompt 😅), and the food was lovely. I'd never considered scallops, black pudding and apple sauce being a combo I needed in my life but it will now become a staple for those fancy dinners. The steak and ale pie was delicious and beyond filling - i couldn't fit dessert in, so finished with a coffee instead. As I say I went solo and it was great - I'll be going back with others at some point for sure!

Absolutely amazing visit here and can’t wait to go back. Firstly we loved the location and even on a driech day it was warm and inviting. All staff were genuinely polite, friendly and welcoming and delivered great service throughout. We were mostly served by Carol who could teach masterclass in true customer service to many other places we’ve visited. There were a few things we liked. Firstly it was bright, modern and super clean. Secondly we liked that it was lots of little areas which made our visit more cosy and quiet. Thirdly we loved that this is not a haunt for screaming kids and endless pushchairs. We had a lovely, quiet lunch with each food and drink item being absolutely perfect. We opted for a coffee and their soup and sandwich combo. Sandwiches arrived in the freshest bread and came with salad and crisps. I had the Cullen Skink and husband had the lentil soup. Both were piping hot and absolutely delicious. We couldn’t eat another thing by the end but did choose a couple of homemade tray bakes to take away. If you’re looking for somewhere for a lovely lunch out or just coffee and a cake I’d highly recommend here. Food, service and setting were all perfect and can’t wait to go back.
