If you’re in the mood for a cold, unappetising baked potato with bizarre toppings, Anderson’s Café is the place to go. I was expecting something hearty, maybe a warm pulled beef topping, but instead got what looked and tasted like processed supermarket beef slices. The Brie was fridge-cold, the bacon wasn’t even warm, and to top it off, there wasn’t a trace of butter on the potato itself. The whole thing was just bland and sad. The soup? Absolutely overloaded with vegetables to the point of being unpleasant, and the overall pricing is a joke,£36 for two soups, a panini, and that sorry excuse for a baked potato. Not exactly value for money. To make matters worse, not one member of staff asked how the meal was, even though they could clearly see it had barely been touched. And while the shop itself is nice to look at, the staff seem more interested in avoiding customers than helping them. I browsed the furniture section for a while, looking at sofas and dining tables, and wasn’t approached once. Disappointing experience all around. Wouldn’t recommend

The rude (blonde bobbed hair) server rolled her eyes when I was undecided on cakes and enquired if the cakes in the refrigerator were fresh cream, to which she replied “No, nothing has fresh cream in it” and she felt the need to address me abruptly when ordering my hot beverages. She turned her back, and did not acknowledge me again, leaving the other younger server to complete my order and payment. The irony of her t.shirt stating “good food, good mood” left me chuckling and led me to express to younger server “is she having a bad day”! I will never be back here again. Being from N.Ireland I can only leave a statement we would apply to a situation like this… “Who are the cream off her bun”!!

Unfriendly service. When I asked for milk in my coffee this was obviously a request too far.It was 2.30pm and made to feel I shouldn't have entered the shop as the floor was being mopped.Zero customer service on display unfortunately today.

Bought a latte and a sandwich which was made up while i waited. Bought were enjoyable but I was charged £6.40 when on the price list latte is £2.50 and sandwich £3.50. On the till it was £2.70 and £3.70 with no explanation given. If the prices have increased the price list should reflect this to give customers choice whether they want to pay that or not or have enough money to pay even.

Visited recently for lunch, lovely meals and Coffee and reasonably priced too. The tuna melt is spot on. Great place to meet up with friends and family and made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back the next I visit Inverurie
