I travel a lot, and I can’t cook very well so I eat out a whole bunch, and the WOK IN is by far the nicest Chinese style food I have had. So much in the portion and tastes incredible. 10/10!!!!

An established hotel - food was good - room was comfortable but in need of a bit of TLC I think they were upgrading rooms a few at a time and i had a basic which was reflected in the very reasonable price for Bed breakfast and evening meal. It is very tricky when staff working do not have English as their first language - it's fabulous that they can speak two or more languages but sometimes can come across as quite stern. They would benefit from 'In house' training - that a smile goes a long way - this would really compliment and improve their guests stay.

Whilst visiting surrounding area we went here for dinner using an Itison voucher which included a 2 course meal with a glass of wine. The staff were lovely and we really enjoyed the food, there was a great variety to choose from, we had the Balmoral Chicken and the Fish and Chips followed by Ice Cream Sundaes all of which were delicious. Definately worth a visit.

Avoid at all costs. Physically aggressive staff and non existent customer service.. I was also verbally abused. I believe its not a legitimate take away but a money laundering operation for their shady activities.

This was the worst café experience I’ve had in years, and I’m truly annoyed. I took my vegan son here for brunch, expecting the delicious offerings promised on their website – pancake stacks, specialty coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, and a vegetarian brunch and lunch menu. Add to that the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, and it sounded worth the 34-mile round trip to Inverurie. I couldn’t have been more wrong. We arrived around midday to discover the café had practically no food. Not only that, but seating was a nightmare. Customers were crammed into the tiny space in front of the serving area, yet we weren’t allowed to sit in the empty conservatory. The “menu” consisted of two items: granola or a breakfast wrap with eggs. That’s it. My son reluctantly chose the granola, and I settled for a mocha and a slice of stale vegan orange cake. To add insult to injury, the drinks, while tasty, were ridiculously small. Then came the kicker – they charged me £21.20 for this pathetic spread. That’s an average of £5.30 per item for minimal food, tiny drinks, and a total lack of choice. The assistant behind the counter was frosty, bordering on rude, snapping at customers and repeating, “This is our menu today,” without a hint of apology or explanation. She even carried on a loud conversation with another customer about eating meat – in a vegetarian café, no less. When a fellow vegan customer asked if this limited menu was permanent, the assistant gave the same robotic response, suggesting this is the sad state of things going forward. Given the extortionate prices, lacklustre menu, and unwelcoming service, I can’t see how they’ll stay in business. I certainly won’t be going back, and I strongly advise others to steer clear. What a waste of time and money.

I had a booking with yourself Tuesday 3rd april 4pm for Danni Beaton. For 5 people. 2 adults , 3 children. For the kids eat free deal. The service itself was absolutely perfect , really friendly and attentive. We had , Patriot burger £12.75 Buffalo burger £13.95 Two sides for £7.00 3x kids happy meals £7.75 each We had also ordered 3x cokes ( unsure how much they were) And i also had a 10% shares discount. The total bill has came to £65.85 , which seemed quite high? At the time of payment my 3 year old had just woken and not in the best of moods so I was a bit distracted, otherwise I wouldve been able to question there and then. I did try emailing the Inverurie branch, with no reply. And also via Instagram but have heard nothing back, apart from now an email asking how my time was at my booking. I know that the children eat free would only apply for 1 kid per paying adult So adding it all up we'd be paying for the Patriot, buffalo burger , 2 sides, one hoppy meal total £41.45 for food alone. Then whatever the cokes are, then the 10% off the final total. Just wondering if you'd be able to shed some light as I only have the receipt for my card payment , not bill with the items. As I was not given this. Many thanks, Danni.
