The best restaurants in Inverurie and District Aberdeenshire North East Scotland

A wonderful lunch we did not plan the visit and they were able to accommodate us. A great choice was available to meet a variety of needs. We opted for the fritters (black pudding and haggis) as a starter to share. This was delightful. The main courses were equally good with mother in law having beef lasagne whilst the Hunters chicken beckoned me. Well worth a trip

Located in the small town of Inverurie, this is a lovely hotel with such friendly staff and really nice evening meals, I really recommend the steak pie, best beef in a long time. Easy to find just off the A96.

Get place for pint , game of pool and god music. Pity it is for sale if I the money I would buy it, would would be a great place to buy. Not sure about the rooms .

Really gd food, gd prices, gentleman tht we spoke to at the end was nice and really friendly . Unfortunately Waitress that served us had a real attitude, sarcastic and condescending,. Have no idea why mybe having a bad day or sick of her job, she wasn't very nice🤷🏻‍♂️. She also doesn't seem to realise customers can hear when she's talking about them, turning your back doesn't work 😂

Complete shambles of an ordering system. Waited outside for 45 minutes with heaps of people!!!!

I took a ring in to be re-sized. It was completed ahead of time and the end result is beautiful. It looks brand new rather than the 140+ years it has been in existence. Thank you Sinclairs, a great job.

Good place to have a sit down after touring the Castle. Usual soup, snacks, scone and cakes. And they will make you an excellent bacon roll. Good coffee too. All served with a smile.

Ordered a takeaway and was very impressed; generous portion and tasty curry (lamb madras). Decent amount of lamb and delivery was very quick. Third place I've tried in Inverurie and this was the best one yet. Really enjoyed and would definitely try again! Can't comment on atmosphere as was a takeaway but food and service 5/5 stars. Price was also pretty decent tbf.

Great wee place! Sandwiches are amazing and they can cater for gluten free folks! Service is also great and a really cool wee shop with great produce!

Lovely lunch for four served by delightful staff. We really enjoyed our meal and have booked for Christmas. Highly recommended!

Great food and good staff at reasonable prices. Situated just off the main road through Port Elphinstone. Would eat here again.

hi guys i did not recommend this take away to anyone work there in iftikhar bhola take away fisrtly he use expiry and fungus things in his take away i stop him and finally i decide to left him and after that he eat my whole month payment and he is paying to thier workers on cash 5pounds per hr .. he promised me to give my payslip he take all my documents i am full timer as well but he did nit provide me payslip as well and eat money..please help me to complain him

Not up to standard. Food presentation nil. Quality nil. Burger been under hotplate and inedible not cooked to order. Ploughmans lunch??? Wierdest version ever. 2 quarter scone sort of things, plastic ham and cheap cheddar cheese wedge. Small salad whole boiled egg plonked on plate? Would have expected some nice crusty bread/butter couple of nice cheeses maybe olives/pickled onions/sliced apple and nice chutney not branston pickle.

This is a lovely shop with a small cafe with ice cream counter. My grandchild loves the ice cream but not a clean table or clean seat today. All cleared but not wiped. Seats and tables covered in crumbs. Very offputting.
