Get place for pint , game of pool and god music. Pity it is for sale if I the money I would buy it, would would be a great place to buy. Not sure about the rooms .

I travel a lot, and I can’t cook very well so I eat out a whole bunch, and the WOK IN is by far the nicest Chinese style food I have had. So much in the portion and tastes incredible. 10/10!!!!

Good place to have a sit down after touring the Castle. Usual soup, snacks, scone and cakes. And they will make you an excellent bacon roll. Good coffee too. All served with a smile.

First time in Bar since 1960 still looks the same very clean and great staff.A friend was 18 and had promised that when he was 18 we would have first drink at Butchers .This where I drank from 1958 until 1967

Had a takeaway meal tonight and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Delicious food, plenty of it and ready quickly from ordering by phone to pick up. Will definitely go back.

This ship is excellent and the best service ever

The service was first class. Jack couldn’t be more pleasant. Nothing was a bother. The food was quick to arrive and fresh. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

Great food and good staff at reasonable prices. Situated just off the main road through Port Elphinstone. Would eat here again.

Avoid at all costs. Physically aggressive staff and non existent customer service.. I was also verbally abused. I believe its not a legitimate take away but a money laundering operation for their shady activities.

This is always great. Friendly efficient staff and food good. Tables not too close and staff quick to clean them. Reasonably priced, always enjoy.

This is a lovely shop with a small cafe with ice cream counter. My grandchild loves the ice cream but not a clean table or clean seat today. All cleared but not wiped. Seats and tables covered in crumbs. Very offputting.

This was the worst café experience I’ve had in years, and I’m truly annoyed. I took my vegan son here for brunch, expecting the delicious offerings promised on their website – pancake stacks, specialty coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, and a vegetarian brunch and lunch menu. Add to that the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, and it sounded worth the 34-mile round trip to Inverurie. I couldn’t have been more wrong. We arrived around midday to discover the café had practically no food. Not only that, but seating was a nightmare. Customers were crammed into the tiny space in front of the serving area, yet we weren’t allowed to sit in the empty conservatory. The “menu” consisted of two items: granola or a breakfast wrap with eggs. That’s it. My son reluctantly chose the granola, and I settled for a mocha and a slice of stale vegan orange cake. To add insult to injury, the drinks, while tasty, were ridiculously small. Then came the kicker – they charged me £21.20 for this pathetic spread. That’s an average of £5.30 per item for minimal food, tiny drinks, and a total lack of choice. The assistant behind the counter was frosty, bordering on rude, snapping at customers and repeating, “This is our menu today,” without a hint of apology or explanation. She even carried on a loud conversation with another customer about eating meat – in a vegetarian café, no less. When a fellow vegan customer asked if this limited menu was permanent, the assistant gave the same robotic response, suggesting this is the sad state of things going forward. Given the extortionate prices, lacklustre menu, and unwelcoming service, I can’t see how they’ll stay in business. I certainly won’t be going back, and I strongly advise others to steer clear. What a waste of time and money.
