The best restaurants in Elgin City North Moray Highlands and Islands

What a fantastic breakfast. Ive never seen square sausage as big, gaurenteed to fill you up for the day. The people who run it are friendly too, go try for yourself you wont be disappointed 👍👍👍

I was in Granton on spey for a weeks holiday and was on a shopping trip to Elgin where we came across the muckle square Cafe. Wow. What a breakfast they do.huge and very reasonable price.we travelled there everyday for the week just to have there breakfast.can't recommend it highly enough.

Honestly couldn't recommend here enough. It's brilliant never had a bad meal. Always on time, always hot and always bloody good. Reasonably priced and always have enough for left overs😁 deffo 10/10

Stopped here during a recent car journey. Their sausage rolls and meringues are the best I've ever tasted! Highly recommended 😁

The food is excellent, I had a burger supper with Curry, which was delicious, the service was fast, the prices were pretty decent, overall pretty good 👍 :)

Food was not as nice as when at restaurant. Some of my order wss missing

Was in for drinks, so I can't comment on the food yet. Edit. I have just had a delicious tender roast beef and will be back soon.

I have a very limited diet and usually require something different from the menu. They are first class in providing a meal for me.

I was in room 64 and every so often the room wood shake don't know why I've stayed here before with no problems, friendly staff and clean room.

Tried to show scale...this is apparently a £2.50 bag of chips. Quite a small portion, glad I did not go for a cone. Service good, staff pleasant, chips taste good but I'm not a fan of portion size. A tiny bit more would of been good. Saying that, will go again to try a fish supper because fish looked good

I’ve been going to this Chinese takeaway for over 30 years! I’ve tried other establishments and I personally think they have the best tasting food. Friendly & welcoming staff ‘Jessica’ Good portion sizes and value for money.

Great cafe. Great classic sandwiches. Superb Cullen Skink soup. Lovely shops. Excellent staff to help you along your way. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Perfect, everything was perfect

This hotel currently does not have a restaurant - what a deception. The hotel manager claimed they could not source chef and so they were unable to offer meals at the time of our planned stay and tea/coffee making facilities amount to a sachet of catering coffee with dried milk sachets - totally disgusting!
