Delivery driver said he'd come back with change and didn't bother as he didn't have change on him it might only be £4 but still theft at the end of the day. So for anyone who makes future orders try have the right amount of change as driver with silver audi didn't come back when he said he would

I looove this chinese its by far my favourite in elgin. Foods always quick fresh and the chop suey is best ive found. Love it have bn using for yrs an will continue to. There satay sauce is also the best not like melted peanut butter like most take aways. Foods always banging. The older lady taking orders is lovely to.

Will never be going back avoid at all costs all the family had food poisoning and was made unwell they all had noodles and lucky I had rice and I was ok but will defo not be going back the only good thing about it was the chips and my boyfriend had to get rushed to hospital as it affected him so much so if u don’t want food poisoning then avoid at all costs not worth £30 odd pound

Had a take away from here and we all were ill and I was sick we had noodles and chicken fried rice think it was food poisoning

Best Chinese restaurant in Elgin. Believe they used to run the Rothes takeaway, which was also known to be excellent.

Tried them all in Elgin, this Chinese still do Chowmain the old way which I love, rich in dark soya, special Chowmain comes with large prawns 8 of them. Other takeaways I have had use those new gloopy noodles (seems the new trend) , and mini prawns. The bonus is they always give you prawn crackers for free and sometimes free spingrolls wong tongs etc

Now called the Bishopmill Takeaway, this place has almost no internet presence, so we were a little concerned whether it was still open and working. It is. The food is great, plentiful and good value. They were quick and friendly. It is pretty old fashioned in many ways , not just the lack of web presence, but they also only take cash for payment, the food comes in aluminium dishes and the selection is as you might remember from many years ago. It was all very good though. My only criticism would be that it was a little 'samey' - we had the set meal for 3 which included 4 main courses (it is a very good selection) but none of it was spicy or (apart from the sweet and sour sauce) very colourful with vegetables (plenty of bamboo, beansprouts and onion though).

Can’t fault the service! So nice and welcoming over the phone and in person which really brightens your day at a time like this. The food is always amazing and fairly priced, plus they add a portion of spring rolls for free.. We recently starting going here and will never change again as the food is great but the service is what makes us come back every week.. Cannot recommend highly enough 🥰

Long time since using this establishment. It was pretty good before and had no complaints. This time however found my chicken to be really chewy and not like before. In saying this it was still edible and also I was 5 minutes late in picking up so perhaps myself to blame?

After waiting over 45mins in the takeaway, I had to throw it in the bin 😒 the crispy chilli chicken was soggy and was so over powered by chilli it was inedible (the chicken was also frozen not fresh). The salt n pepper chips they charge £4.40 for were actually frozen cooked chips (which were still hard) sprinkled with paprika seasoning, not nice at all - also thrown in the bin. The beef and duck with egg fried rice was very dry, my husband loves chinese food and said it was ok but he's had much better elsewhere. Unfortunately we won't be getting our food from here again.

use this as a occasional quick option. best chinese in elgin... that wouldnt be hard tbh, average tasting ,, will say its consistent, had a few chinese meals whille abroad on holiday,, and the flavours and quality are far more superior to anything in scotland,, just for conveince i use take aways in elgin,, and it does the purpose of feeding you,,, apart from that average at best,,

Good oriental and European foods supplied fresh from the stove. Comprehensive menu all at very reasonable prices.

We tried here for a change, the place was empty when we arrived, 1 person came to collect an order, which I find strange for a Friday night at tea time. The service was quick and the food was nice and hot, but I think the food was just reheated as and when it’s ordered, the chips were defiantly reheats. It was cheap enough but I was disappointed.

Food is amazing along with its customer service. Friendly staff and one of the best tasting Chinese takeaways in the area! A must try!

Phoned an order in 35 minutes later it arrived, the chicken was dry and in edible the ribs in gravy not BBQ sauce the meal was cold, when I phoned the woman said it was the taxis fault as they said 10 minutes and they came after 30 so the food had been lying all that time...... Not happy and won't be back!

I live nr it an its been my local chinese for ages its lovely food and its all freshly made to order its lovely and its very quick no waiting nr a hr here unlike other places.

I have been coming to this Chinese for take always since 1999 it's by far the best one in elgin, really good value and yummy food! I stay over the other side of elgin now and still use this Chinese although there are lots closer to me! I also like how they give me free prawn crackers with my order and are very friendly!!
