I was in Granton on spey for a weeks holiday and was on a shopping trip to Elgin where we came across the muckle square Cafe. Wow. What a breakfast they do.huge and very reasonable price.we travelled there everyday for the week just to have there breakfast.can't recommend it highly enough.

went in at 11 for breakfast it was a good plate full and at 6.50 a good price its a nice comfortable restaurant good service and a good vibe about it though a little off the beaten path its worth seeking out

Staff work hard in this sometimes busy restaurant. A bargain could be had at lunch with two and three course deals on offer for around £10-£13. Food though is quite basic for that price but if that's in your budget go for it. You can go a la carte too if you wish which offers a different menu. The menu hasn't really changed much in many years and is unexciting but in reality there isn't another Italian restaurant in Elgin
