From start to finish the visit was incredibly memorable and special. The food choice was staggering, the food yummy and incredibly generously portioned. The most abiding memory was the genuinely welcoming and friendly staff. BRAVO…….a must breakfast/lunch or coffee & cake stop on the NC500 !!!❤️Love Michelle & Jeff

This was my second visit to CDN now in the new location of Mey Hotel (a very nice small and friendly hotel nicely renovated) the meal and wine flight were outstanding every innovative serving a great pleasure - some excellent ingredients surprisingly presented to a very high standard / best meal in Scotland on our three week tour of seafood restaurants !!!!

Drove to Lochinver on a snowy day in November. We had homemade broccoli soup it was amazing. I had mine with Stilton. Also we had a piece of Lindt double chocolate cheesecake. It disappeared very quickly. All in all I would defo recommend this place when calling in at Lochinver.

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.

We stopped off here after seeing excellent reviews online and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We both had a coffee with a lemon curd and cream scone. We’ve been craving another since having it and would highly recommend this place if not for the scone but also the views and very friendly staff

The hotel is in a very priviliged situation overlooking the bay of Loch Duart. The hospitality service is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Some of the decoration misses the final touch, i.e the wintergarden, the reception area. But it is still a very recommendable address.

This is marketed as being a burger van/ fast food place, but it is a lot more than that! Definitely the best meal we have had in Scotland this summer! Absolutely delicious food, great value and very friendly service. Our lunch was hot, delicious and came very quickly. Would definitely choose this amazing little gem over any sit down or take away restaurant anywhere that we have been.

Had a burger here and it was delicious. Van is sighted by the sea and you can sit at a table overlooking the loch and enjoy your food, excellent.

Lovely warm cafe with log burner, Quiet today but a real gem in a remote area. Will definitely use again. Nice coffee. Hot meals and pannini, breakfast etc. Next to a waymarked woodland walk and children's play park. Short walk or drive to impressive waterfall. Drive up the glen at dusk to see the red deer come down off the hill.

Really good restaurant in Lochinver. It was very busy but our order soon came and the quality was first class . Large portions too especially my scallops. Cranachan for dessert was what it should be with just a touch of whisky. Very friendly staff. A must if you ever in Lochinver.
