Tutto squisito! Per pranzo abbiamo voluto provare il seafood platter e il panino scottish laddle. Che prelibatezza! Il patè di sgombro meraviglioso, mentre la coleslaw divina. Il panino superbo. Complimenti!

Wow. Where to begin. We had been told that we would never had a culinary experience like it. Absolutely. From the sublime surroundings of Kirtomy, the welcome when we arrived, the nicely served gins all the way through to the "finale", it was outstanding. Chris obviously has a passion for what he does - and he does it so well. His eye for detail is second to none and the combination of tastes served outstanding. Awesome.

Close to the local petrol station where we re-filled, and decided that the van crew needed refuelling too! A welcoming and calm interior, with friendly service, very nice coffees and very tasty soup/panini and a panini only to enjoy. Recommended for those transmitting through Lochinver as I guess the local folk will already appreciate this very nice cafe.

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.

We stopped off here after seeing excellent reviews online and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We both had a coffee with a lemon curd and cream scone. We’ve been craving another since having it and would highly recommend this place if not for the scone but also the views and very friendly staff

The hotel is in a very priviliged situation overlooking the bay of Loch Duart. The hospitality service is great and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Some of the decoration misses the final touch, i.e the wintergarden, the reception area. But it is still a very recommendable address.

After an arduous walk climb to Bone Caves we stopped here for a much needed refreshment. Hot chocolate, latte and a panini. All lovely.

This is marketed as being a burger van/ fast food place, but it is a lot more than that! Definitely the best meal we have had in Scotland this summer! Absolutely delicious food, great value and very friendly service. Our lunch was hot, delicious and came very quickly. Would definitely choose this amazing little gem over any sit down or take away restaurant anywhere that we have been.

Had a burger here and it was delicious. Van is sighted by the sea and you can sit at a table overlooking the loch and enjoy your food, excellent.

Was really looking forward to the seafood platter and every part of it was delicious! If fresh shell food/ fish is your thing you won’t be disappointed. Staff were really on it and friendly. I hope to travel back some day - definitely a highlight of our trip

We visit the Larder each summer on our west coast trips. We opted for two savoury and two sweet pies to takeaway. One smoked haddock and cheese sauce, one chicken and haggis with sauce, one peach and apricot and one apple and blackcurrant. The smoked haddock pie was amazing, the best ever. The pastry was lovely too. I’ll definitely keep my eye out for this tasty pie on future visits. The chicken and haggis pie was lovely too, both pies moist and packed with filling, great sauces in them. I’m not keen on sweet pies but we enjoyed them too. The peach and apricot pie was perfect for me. Price wise the savoury pies are about right for the weight. No shortage of fish and meat in them.
