My husband and me are regulars at EM’s so today when we visited we were saddened to see that she is closing down today. The baking has always been first class and the friendly staff, amazing. EM’s will be greatly missed in Dingwall. All that is left for me to say is that we wish Emily and her staff all the very best in the future. A truely brilliant baker.

Regretably, this wonderful restaurant has now closed as the owners retired. Very best to them for a lovely retirement after many years of fabulous food and unbeatable hosting. Bon chance!

Wherever we are in the Inverness area we make a beeline for a Harry Gow shop. We stay at Dingwall campsite so use the local one there. Best bakers in UK. Brilliant homemade soup, a different one every day, delicious filled rolls, sausage rolls and what a fantastic selection of cakes 😋😋.

Endroit joli et propre. Super accueil. La cuisine est soignée et plutôt variée. Les mets sont simples mais préparés et servis avec soin. Les prix sont très corrects.

We called here on our way to Lock Ness as we were staying in Durnamuck for a holiday, the coffee was really nice (proper coffee not instant crap) and the apple & cinnamon scone was delicious so soft and just perfect. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, definitely on our favourites list for when we are back up this way.

First time visiting this restraunt. Pleasant surroundings outside and lovely dining area in conservatory area. There were 5 of us here tonight, 19th February 2025. Quiet in restraunt though busier in bar area. Service was great with friendly staff. There was a good choice on the menu and food was absolutely delicious. We has steak pie, gammon steak, scampi, fish and chips and pizza. One of our party had starter of black pudding which he said was delicious too. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this restraunt.

We really enjoyed our visit to Chilli Masala. The service was first class, the food was excellent. Very fresh, clean, tasty and plentiful. It was a real pleasure to eat here. Wish we lived nearer. Would definitely visit again when back in the area. This restaurant is first class, with great food and very friendly staff....oh and very reasonably priced too.If you're looking for Indian good in Dingwall then go here as you will not be disappointed.

We ordered a takeaway and they forgot the chips, I called to let them know and they tried to get us to take a discount next meal but as the chips were required I asked if they would deliver? Eventually turned up 3/4 of a hour later despite the rest of the meal arriving in 25 minutes from being placed ….they clearly took the scraps from the bottom of the basket totally disgusting which went in the bin, apart from my partner’s starter the rest was tasteless and uninspiring, definitely won’t be using again , on reflection we stopped using them a few years ago for something similar

We went in with 2 dogs and sat at a table for 2. We were asked to move to a table accros the cafe as we were not at a dog friendly table. No problem. The table was being cleared for us and a man came in with a dog and sat at the table. The waitress didn’t say anything to him. I challenged him but he didn’t move, another customer offered to move but we were embarrassed . No other dog friendly tables were available so we left.

This guy is an artist. Crispy. Crunch. Full of flavour. How any other takeaways in dingwall are still in business astounds me. First takeaway pizza I've had that hasn't been greasy. Just perfect I felt I was in Italy whilst eating his joyous creation..and such a brilliant wee shop all done Infront of you no secrets. How is there even a pizza hut or a dominoes in Inverness. I'd drive 2 hours for his pizza let alone the 15 minutes from Inverness. 10/10 recommended I'll definitely be back.

So well looked after. Despite it being a wednesday night and us being "out of towners" we were treated like locals. The chap in charge even made my wife a proper mug of tea with biscuits. 10/10
