Lovely bakers shop with cafe. Home made soup, pies and pastries, cakes, sandwiches and the best doughnuts, especially the caramel topped doughrings. Friendly welcoming service, led by Dorothy. Excellent......

This bakery has everything you could possibly want, bread, cakes, savoury and sweet pies, tarts, pancakes…... They have lots of things I’d never seen before such as a chicken and haggis pie, and pancake/crumpets, plain and sultana. Staff were great too. We tried corn bread, a couple of savoury pies, a raspberry pie and a sultana pancake and were not disappointed in any of them. Will definitely shop in here again when in the area. Recommended.

A quick stop for a cuppa and something to eat at this terrific bakery and cafe. What a great range of baked good they had on offer. My husband chose a hot Macaroni Pie which he really enjoyed. We both had a delicious square of Carrot Cake, and we had a pot of tea and a latte. Great value at £10.61 and the cafe section is very comfortable and cosy. Could have sat all day, but we had to get back on the road.

One of the nicest bakeries I've been to, their mince pies are 1st class along with softies, pastries and sausage rolls. I pre-ordered 2 dozen mince pies to take home and share with a friend who hails from Dingwall and as he knew we were in the area we bought the pies for him to satisfy an 81 year old's craving for a taste of home.

Stuck in Dingwall Ona wet day, this was the only place we found in a long high street that looked suitable for a light lunch. The staff were welcoming and we enjoyed our tea and filled rolls. They were very fresh and tasty. A quiet atmosphere.

Fantastic bakery in Dingwall High Street, great selection of pies, sausage rolls and cakes, including bacon baps! All served with a smile. A nice cafe to sit in with full COVID cleaning in place and clean toilet.

Never miss an opportunity to pop in for a curry pie, or a steak pie or even a mince pie. Then I have to have lemon drizzle cake and take home a couple of dream rings, unbelievably good baker. Staff attentive and friendly. Love it.

Had quick cup of coffee, lovely selection of scotch pie, sausage roll, bridge, curry pie etc and sweet treats. You can sit in or takeaway. Also serve home made soup, take away or sit in.lovely friendly staff and used well by local community. Fresh made coffee,if I had to criticise, just a bit weak. The coffee grind perhaps needing adjusted as it left grain in my cup. Overall friendly and ok for quick snack

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.

This Subway has always been great; extremely friendly customer service, great food (sandwiches at other Subway’s are usually a bit burnt) and just an overall friendly Subway. However, since last year, this Subway has been closed; every time we walk by it is always empty, as in lights never on, same drinks left in fridge ect. You know it’s been closed a while when you see COVID guidelines telling you to wear a mask and that it’s mandatory; as well as other posters and such laying all over the floor. When searched on Google, it says “Temporarily closed”, however, it’s been well over a year at this point and it shows no signs of re-opening. We know some of the people who uses to work there and they just said that it’s “closed”. It’s a shame; the Subway should be sold if they don’t want to maintain or open it. Here’s to hoping that we ever see Subway Aviemore open again — I’m hoping 🤞
