Bad Girl Bakery in Highland

Popped in today for lunch. Excellent food and super friendly staff. If you are in Muir of Ord it's a great place to pop in for a wee snack.

We stopped here while we was visiting inverness, an excellent café. Great cakes and coffee, with a friendly service. Just inside the Victorian market which is good for a look around, some nice shops.

Service was awful, 25 minutes for a toastie!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Fortunately, The food was very good. apart from the sweet chilli sauce added to my ‘plain Jane’ ham and cheese toastie which I thought was a strange addition. This should be mentioned on the menu.

Amazing small bakery/cafe We regularly come up to the Black Isle for holidays , after our last visit I saw Bad Girl Bakery on Facebook and had been really looking forward to visiting. I thought it was only cakes they did and we weren’t disappointed at all when we realised they did food as well. Staff were fab at sorting tables for us (4 adults &4 kids) letting us take our time to choose cakes for eating then and taking away for later. We ordered some food to eat there, French Toast, Toasties, Sandwiches and Soup, all exceed our expectations. The bread was gorgeous thick slice bread, with amazing fillings. The cakes!!! We were not disappointed at all, they were awesome! I’m so glad we were able to visit today, already went and bought the book from Amazon! It will now be on our list of places to eat whenever we are up here! And planning to try and visit their Inverness shop!

Delightful coffee shop! All their cakes, bakes and biscuits are made from scratch every morning. Well worth a quick to-go or sit down.

Stopped here for a drink and ended up having cake as well, which was amazing. The staff are friendly, especially as my husband joked with one of them about not moving tables, ended up being a very funny moment! Was a good stop and left us refreshed to carry on with our journey.

Dropped into the "Good Girl" foodstall in the Victorian Market for lunch today - had not been there before. The young woman behind the counter was friendly, knowledgable about the produce and helpful. I had a salad bow and it was great. Fairly priced as well. I like visiting Bad Girl but i do like the fact that they've added Good Girl for those who want something with a few less calories! Enjoyed my visit and will definitely go back again - Well done!

Food was great…….lovely breakfast. We stopped there twice, once for a snack the day before & then breakfast before we caught our train to Edinburgh. Good atmosphere. Definitely go there, if you are in Inverness. It’s right across from the Scot-rail. Very reasonable.

Lovely welcoming staff. Delicious food, especially the cakes. Worth a visit for sure! Also had delicious gluten free options...lemon drizzle is recommended, I may have had two during our stay in Scotland!!

Wow ….. I went yesterday to the hood girl grocery stand within the Victorian market hall in Inverness and got a sweet baked potatoe with coronation chicken which was nice so I went back today but they were all sold out ….. I walked over to the and girl bakery opposite and ordered a macaroni pie and wow I am so glad the potatoes were sold out ….. this pie was just amazing ….. I will be a regular now as I work close by ….. this could be bad for me lol

Fabulous coffee and great selection of yummy eats. So impressed I order the cookbook from Amazon. I had a lemon muffin on a donut base with caster sugar absolutely delicious!

Such a great little cafe with outstanding cakes and the coffee was great too. We called again in August only to find it was temporarily closed we were so disappointed

We were here for take away. Despite getting my coffee order wrong (I take it black with no sugar) the baked goods were lovely and tasty. The sausage roll was particularly delicious. I would like to try a sit in visit in the future.

SO great to find two luscious looking GLUTEN FREE options this morning in Inverness ! Spent 2 days in Inverness trying to find gluten free options and got fed up of being directed to the vegan menus due to lack of understanding The cake I bought was scrumptious - thankyou!

Visited recently for coffee and cake both were great also bought a pack of Chocolate chips Scone mix which turn out fab, never had much luck with scones before, thanks. The coconut sponge with lime and chilli drizzle topping is delightful. Everyone seems to be catered for.

Lovely little place not many tables inside fills up quickly at busy periods . Lovely cakes ..you can also carry out food and drink

We purchased 2 boxes of assorted cakes and biscuits and was not disappointed at all. The brownies were massive and only just managed to eat a whole one, sooooo yummy (my favourite) kids loved the heart-shaped jammy dodger style biscuit.

Been a few times now and there are some amazing sandwiches, pastries and cakes. Do yourself a favour and visit but also consider buying their book. French Toast from the breakfast menu is the best I have ever tasted.

What an amaaaaaaaazing place! If only I could have tried everything. We had a full English and banana bread, bought scone mixes, scones, caramel crumbles and toffee brownies. And I wanted more! Sigh. Great place 👌

Visited twice in one day. First a light lunch with carrot and coriander soup and in-house baked bread. Soup was substantial and good. The bread was artisan quality - they take their bread seriously. Later, came in for a latte and a mini cake. All was attractively presented and baking was good. Sadly NO bad girls!

Cute cafe, with lovely staff and amazing cakes. Gluten-free cakes are so good, you can't even tell they're Gluten-free.

We came here in Muir of Ord for a light lunch and were not disappointed. The food was fresh, nicely presented and tasty. Very friendly staff. A big bonus was that we could have our dog with us. There were some delicious looking cakes but when I came back for some later in the day, there was not a great deal left so best to buy early! Definitely worth a visit.

Took my Enjoyable Other here having been before and the second visit exceeded the first. Fabulous easily approachable staff, very fresh food that certainly made me feel that I had had "real" food. Body nurturing cafe and just a really pleasurable experience . Will be back. TIP: go early as they are very popular and not surprised

I stopped by your Inverness branch today, got some of the gf raspberry and lemon cake. Omg. AMAZING. Just a shame I was leaving to go home, so I can’t come back for more.

A great place, we have been to both bakeries, in "the Muir" and Inverness, very friendly service and great coffee and food.

I absolutely love this place. Wonderful staff, impressive choices of freshly baked goods. Delicious homemade soups and sandwiches.

Lovely little cafe. Only visited for coffee, cake and a meeting but it was perfect. Can't comment on the meals as we didn't have any but the coffee was fantastic! Bakes were also delicious and staff very friendly. Definitely will be back :) (they also have vegan options for anyone interested!)

Grest place to eat but there were 4 of us eating and the table was very small so it made it very awkward. Great that it's dog friendly!

It was really good service, food was amazing, really good for people who don’t really like big places as there’s only 5-6 tables. Can get busy later on but definitely would recommend.

We had a very enjoyable breakfast here. I can’t think of anything negative to say , so I won’t. Bright warm , it was November, spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Lots of lovely looking cakes too.

Just had the best breakfast in a long time at Bad Girls Bakery. Staff were very pleasant to deal with . Food was of high quality and tasty.

So nice to have a dog friendly cafe that serves delicious food. My family and I recently had breakfast here twice. We also came on our last afternoon in Scotland and had afternoon tea and cakes. Staff brought a water bowl for our dog and as we were about to leave surprised us with a complimentary box of cakes. The breakfasts were fantastic and there was a good choice available. Cakes were handmade fresh and delicious. Thank you to all the staff. We will be back when we next visit Scotland

Tasty food and friendly service :)

We really came in for bread, and left with several pastries, a sausage/apple roll, and some potato salad. All was delicious and I hope we make it back out there for more. Staff was super friendly and expeditious.

Got two cups of tea at their Victorian Market stand, milk already added and far too much. Cakes were fine but coconut one was so sweet it was mostly inedible. The onion bhaji toastie was tasty enough but wasn't cut in half leaving me to attempt it with a flimsy wooden knife on tough bread. Not even offered by the numerous staff standing there. Lots of staff behind counter who didn't appear to have clear job roles, it was all very chaotic. Won't be back in a hurry.

Cracking place. Went twice for breakfast during our weeks stay in Muir of Ord. If you're looking for cakes which are a cut above the norm don't miss this cafe.

Just back from Victorian Market, Bad Girls Bakery new food outlet. Whilst waiting to be served I saw a fly on the cakes. None of the food was covered. I spoke to an employee and told her there was a fly or flies on the cakes. She said oh again. What can you do. I replied cover with glass. I decided not to eat there as the flies put me off. The staff’s response was very poor. My companion and I went to another food service instead as hygiene hazard not considered by having food not covered

Tried the new Bakery in Victorian Market on first day of opening. Great food but service a bit slow. Great addition to Inverness range of cafes.

Full breakfast, nicely cooked. Rasher, Sausage, Black Pudding X2, Beans, Mushrooms and Egg, Toast and a large pot of Tea. My companion had Pancakes & Maple Syrup with sliced Banana etc. All very good but why no Haggis?

I’ve visited several times over the past couple of months and Bad Girl Bakery never disappoints. My personal favourites are the breakfast pancakes and the marshmallow millionaire. The sausage rolls and BBQ quesadillas are fab too. Really looking forward to you opening in Inverness soon!!

We popped into the Bad Girl Café for a quick lunch. The options were mostly huge cakes and buns which as a diabetic screamed “not today”. We settled on a shared large sausage roll which was very good. It is a good place to stop but for my tastes had a limited array of options.

Nipped in today on our way west for some camping. Could have stayed all day for the sweet baked goodness and cheerful staff. First up was a round of full breakfasts to murder the residual hangover, then some coffee and cake to lay it to rest. I had coconut and raspberry scone while my partner in crime pushed the boat out with a white choc raspberry slice. Well after watching his face I had to treat myself to a slice of that as well. My word, it was worth the calories. So off we fly to go soak up the last of summer. No doubt we'll hit this little slice of joy on our way back.

I've lived in Muir of Ord for 32 years and in that time we had one café for the most part. It wasn't great, but it served its purpose. When that closed there was a sore lack of a place to go and have a cuppa, cake or food of some sort either on your own or with friends / family. Enter the Bad Girls and a revolution in the village. They've transformed the old Forbes' Café into a lovely, modern bakery / Café that provides a great place to go for that wee cuppa and cake or food. I've been in a fair number of times this year alone and I've always enjoyed my visits. Delicious coffees with a syrup of your choice should you want something a little extra. The cakes are all DIVINE. Thick slabs of cake that will leave you feeling full and maybe a little like Bruce Bogtrotter from Matilda ;). I'm quite partial to any of the scones with white chocolate in! I've said a bit about the cakes and drink, but the other stand out is the staff. They're all lovely and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you're taken care of. Overall they have provided the village with the injection of cakes, coffee and camaraderie it so sorely needed Highly recommend popping in for a visit. You won't leave disappointed!

Was really excited to try this bakery, especially since reading their new cook book.I always go for something sweet so tried a Cinnamon Scone - a favourite of mine.Looked a bit peely-wally as they say but reckoned it would taste good. Probably the poorest scone...

unhelpful service - requested a toasty, told what they have is in the cool display (which is situated at the door in a very small space) and have to order before being seated. Little choice - only 2 fillings- but chose 1 tuna and 2...

I had a stunning breakfast here. It was delightful with great coffee and it was dog friendly. I'd happily come here everyday.

The cakes and coffee were superb. Highly recommend Bad Girl and will visit on my next trip. Nice interior decor and impressive display of rosettes and certificates for their baking skills.

I have unfortunately not visited their café, but they had a stand at “the highland games” in Inverness where I tried both their toast (delicious) and cake.

Usually I click atleast a pic of any delicacies which I forgot to do so here, as I was much indulged with their nice ambience and a delicious hot chocolate. Tasted their Caramel Brownie, White Chocolate & Blueberry Muffin, Chorizo Sausage Roll. Everything is delight here. Love their Muffin so much. If you’re in Muir Of Ord or passing by, highly recommended. You also have a sit out area in the square opposite if weather is in favour of you. Do pay them, a visit!

Fabulous chocolate fudge brownie

Decided to stop for breakfast and so glad we did. The cafe itself is very simple in decor, but clean and very welcoming. Great selection of amazing baking and savouries, hard to choose what you want! Would definitely return.

Not worthy of a visit staff not friendly cafe was cold cakes nothing special and over priced.

Aye poped in for a latte to takeaway on my way home from work . The Bakery was just about to close for the day. The owner was kind enought to give me two free cakes which was so kind myself and patner had them for desert that night They were beautiful as was the Latte ...
