Cafe Lephin in Highland

A must stop on the way to or back from Neist point. Excellent coffee and homemade cakes. I had a millionaire's shortbread, a cappuccino and an apple+black current flapjack with joghurt topping. Staff is very kind. Plenty of space, nice interior and decoration. Clean toilets. The is also a gift shop with very nice art. Prices are reasonable. Parking space is available at the road.

Cafe Lephin im Glendale is a small little cafe with amazing coffee abd super friendly staff. I stopped for a quick bite on my way to Neist Point. I had the soup of the day and it was really good. It has some tables for people to sit but you can also have coffee to go. I can highly recommend to stop by Cafe Lephin if your passing by and get yourself a cup of coffee.

Friends and I stopped in while doing an NC500/Skye road trip back in October and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this place since. The soups and sandwiches were great and their honeycomb latte (I believe that’s what it was called) was incredible, I’ve been trying to recreate it myself at home. There’s also a cute shop attached with local made goodies. Would definitely recommend!

Petit café mignon comme tout, où on a pris pour le goûter une petite bière et un gâteau, c'était très bon ! Les prix sont très raisonnables. Dommage que ce café ne soit pas ouvert davantage !

Wonderful place for lunch. Our group was over the moon with everything we ordered. Highly recommend the roast veggie bagel. Coffee is delicious as well. Best latte I've had in the United Kingdom!

It was a rainy August day and we were looking for warmth and sustenance after our visit to the lighthouse. Cafe Lephin did not disappoint. They had beautiful hot chocolate, coffee, and tea. The food and deserts were delicious.

This lovely little Café is the perfect place for lunch after having visited Neist point! Would recommend coming just around opening time as it can get really busy and there aren't many tables!

Getränke super, Essen super. Nur die Plätze sind schnell weg, wir hatten aber Glück und mussten nur 10 Minuten warten und könnten dabei auch schon durch die Karte schauen. Nach uns wurden mehrere Personen abgewiesen bzw. haben was zum Mitnehmen bestellt.

We had breakfast here. Very delicious, great coffee, but their breakfast portions could be larger for the price. The gluten free breakfast panini was especially small for 6.5£.

Nice place but the welcome was very cold and unpleasant, the person clearly did not want to talk to us. In addition there was almost nothing at 10 am...

Better to find a next good cafe. Service is poor. Waited 20 minutes, at table without service. We left, and find a better palace.

Endroit très sympa. Accueil très sympathique. Les croissants au bacon sont un vrai délice. Sans parler des desserts qui sont divins. Nous avons goûté le muffin banane myrtilles ( le meilleur que j’ai jamais mangé) et le brownie. Je recommande cet endroit sur la route pour neist point.

Very cozy cafe and their apple shortcake was super yummy! However, my cappuchino was not very good because the ratio of coffee to milk and froth was off, there was basically no froth. However, the service was good.

Delicieux lunch. Esprit salon de thé. Bagel, paninis, salade et soupe maison. Tout est frais. Les desserts sont également très bons. Service très agréable. Bref une chouette étape.

Lovely stop off for a bite to eat. We had homemade carrot soup cheese scone and coffee. When an Irish man tells you, you make soup like his granny, there's no better complimentto be had... it truly was like eating my granny's soup.... fantastic. Cheese scone was lovely and proper good coffee. Only thing I will say... you need to adjust your contactless payments so we can leave tips for the girls.... not many people carry cash now and theses girls need tipping

Great cafe on the journey to/from the lighthouse. The coffee was wonderful (cappuccinos, lattes) and very yummy paninis. The apple shortcake is delicious!

Das Café ist wirklich wundervoll. Es ist toll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war richtig lecker - sowohl die Bagel, Paninis und Kuchen (wir haben uns durchgetestet 😉) Hund und Kind waren ebenfalls herzlich willkommen!

Came to Cafe Lephin on our way to Neist Point, and loved everything that we ordered. We had a soup with cheese scone, a pesto and mozzarella sandwich, some tea and a millionaire bar. The staff was very nice, and there was plenty of seating given how popular some sights were in the area. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area and even worth a drive for lunch if you're on Skye in general.

Very rude did not open when they said they would at 10.30....after keeping us waiting outside for 20 mins. Not impressed. Just walked out in the end. Not spending my hard earned money on those slackers.

Little place by the road to get a cup of tea and something small like soup or cake. Also a (very little) shop where you can by a few things like handmade soap

Great spot with wonderful drink and dessert options including two gluten free options the day we visited. The gift shop items were luxurious. Bathrooms were very nice and clean.

Superb vegan options and had a lovely sofa to relax and read while enjoying a tea and coffee.

What a lovely welcoming (dog friendly) cafe, great coffee and cake - cut above the rest. Great for tourists but also felt very much part of the community also.

Been passed this cafe all week, thought had better try it, has not many cafes open, so was looking forward to it. However, very disapointed. Was greeted by an american or canadian, I think, but very misarable and when I went to the counter to order drinks, was told to sit down and she would come to us but said in a very off way!! All the scottish staff were far more friendly. I would therefore suggest having a more friendly person front of house. Will not be going back!!!

We came here wet to the bone after being at Neist Point. It is a very comfy cafe. We had a delicious soup and even better cheese scones. It was warm, as we sat near the oven, and music playing. The owner/waitress was very welcoming and friendly.

Süßes, kleines Café kurz vor dem Neist Point! Hier gibt es leckere Kleinigkeiten und Snacks, sowie köstlichen Kuchen (auch glutenfrei!) und guten Kaffee! Der Service war angenehm zurückhaltend, dabei sehr freundlich, so dass wir uns wohl gefühlt haben! Hier sollte jeder einen kurzen Stop einlegen!

I always look up cafes as I love coffee, this one we found on our way to the Neist Point and well, it’s soo pretty and all the baked goods look delicious. I tried their rocky road and it was delicious. Totally recommend!

We ordered the salmon bagel and cheese scone and it was amazing. The bagels were perfectly toasted and also chewy (in a good way) but soft at the same time. The cheese scones were cheesy and fluffy but dense at the same time. We didn't get to try the coffee and had hot chocolate instead which was nicely made, but could be abit more chocolatey. Highly recommend this place as a stopover after/before neist point.

Fantastic homemade soup (butternut squash + carrot) and cakes. This place deserves its high rating. Beautifully maintained and great friendly service from an American lady who’d spent time in Nelson, BC. Thank you from the couple from near Toronto.

Ein schönes, kleines Café, welches perfekt gelegen ist, wenn man den Leuchtturm am Neist Point besichtigt hat. Bei unserem Besuch war jedoch sehr viel los, sodass man ggf. eine kurze Wartezeit einplanen muss.

Jewel in the crown of a cafe in a perfect location. Good food, good treats and very good ale on tap, always busy, cannot always get an indoor table. Very friendly staff. Small shop built on the side with some lovely island crafts for sale. A must visit if passing

Der Flat White, den wir hier bekommen haben war ausgezeichnet im Geschmack und der Stärke. Hübsch verziert war er auch. Auch der Kuchen war sehr gut, aber wie hier üblich sehr süß. Echte Empfehlung.

Saying their take-away bagels were good is an understatement; everything was tasty and fresh, and the coffee was excellent too. There were 3/4 waitresses running the place and they seemed a bit stressed (I’m assuming this place can get very busy some days, being on the way to Neist Point): girls, you’re all doing an amazing job.

We are glad we happened upon this adorable restaurant. We tried the pea and broccoli soup and the mozzarella, sundried tomato, and pesto panini. Both were delicious. BUT it is 10pm on a Thursday night 2 months after I ate that sandwich and I really wish it was closer. I have tried places in the states with similar paninis and it hasn't been matched. Can't wait to go back summer of 2023.
