Chicken breast curry and fried rice was amazing

Nice place, good service but the food - not so good. Hot and sour soup was like sweet, orange wall-paper paste with bits of spam in it. Beef, green pepper in black bean sauce was virtually too salty to eat. I note several 5-star reviews from "local expert(s)" and I note that those same people are "local experts" in several other places and frequently give 5-star reviews to many places that they claim to frequent. Just my opinion but I think that a few reviews bring the overall score for this place way above what it really deserves.

Milkshake was delivered half full having been spilled and the waffle was definitely undercooked. Hung up on the phone and where rude when explaining the problem. Would not recommend ordering from here

Best take away curry ever, blend of fantastic virtually fat free Lamb Madras with proper tasty punchy spices the way a Madras should be, I've tried a variety of their dishes and all superb but Madras is where my heart is ☺️

Update: 20/4/23 standards dropped badly recently, over an hour for delivery, pizza extremely dry, kebab just thrown in tray with dollop of sauce will be avoiding till standards improve. 25/4/25 Had a mixed kebab last extremely poor quality meat used some of bits of chicken were rock solid and kebab looked and tasted like been sitting for days will not be back 👎

Chinese Takeaway. Do not go, you will be disappointed. Ordered king prawn curry, the sauce was tasty enough but only 5 king prawns in the dish, ordered fried rice with it, which was terrible, it was hard as though it was undercooked or left to harden for days. Basically inedible. Won’t buy from there again.

No information on allergies, most common allergy eggs as well🤣, food was very overpriced for no reason, doesnt look appealing. Barely know their own prices.

I literally go here every morning just before 0600 when I'm working in the office (around 2 times a week).They're generally great but occasionally they're a lot slower than other times at the drive through and I'm worried about getting to work on time. I'm glad to say that it was 3- 4 mins from order to leaving the car park this morning. When it works it works !!

What has happened to the Jade House. I used to order regulary for many many years. Well, after a long time, I ordered a home delivery...the salt content in all the food, especially the gravy, the satay sauce and the chow mein is absolutely horrendous. The high levels of salt cannot be safe for human consumption.. shocking. If you value your blood pressure and kidneys, stay away...

Popped in today as my son wanted a sub. The three staff behind the counter rude and unhelpful. I went to pay with my points as I have over 1700 to be told I couldn't?! Why ?! Won't be back to this store in future.
