The best restaurants in Coatbridge South North Lanarkshire Glasgow and Surrounding

We came down from Dundee, visiting. I’m from Glasgow myself but I brought down some friends and the food was amazing! The staff were so kind and did as much as possible to accommodate us and find somewhere to place us. The food was delicious and the cupcakes were stunning!!! The iced lattes were amazing my niece had even said that they were better than the big name coffee shops!!!

The best chinese takeaway in coatbridge by far, food always beautiful and always happy to cook to individual taste.

Ordered from just eat, 1st time trying this restaurant, got the chicken fajita wrap meal, the wrap was fresh ingredients chicken was really tasty, the salsa was amazing, the chips were a good portion I got the season on them & they where delicious. Would high recommend. Think if you went in & collected it from the Coatbridge restaurant it would be cheaper than Just Eat as they add other charges on.

Travelled from England to see family came here for first time suppers were absolutely beautiful lady behind the counter was so nice / welcoming and very helpful i used to follow tony on tic tok but lost my account due to it being hacked date of visit 2 dec 24

Very disappointed with our visit to Mondo today. Starters (Sizzling Prawns) were lovely, but that’s where the loveliness ended. We ordered steaks (medium rare) for our main course and after 25 mins they still had not arrived. We were suspecting that they had forgotten about our food and were just ready to ask when the food arrived - everything on the plate was lukewarm, including the sauce, having already formed a skin on top. We said to one of the waiting staff to which she replied “would we like a fresh one?” We said yes please, and then about 5 mins later another staff member arrived at our table (perhaps senior?) and announced to us rather loudly in front of tables of customers that our ‘fresh’ dish (of medium rare steak!!) would take about 20 mins! Again, we said that’s fine, not wanting to cause a scene, but how a medium-rare steak would take this long (???) It arrived 25 mins later and was warm - steak was medium, chewy. By this point we just wanted to eat and get out. At no point during the wait did any staff approach us to ask if we’d like another drink while we waited, or indeed just as a courtesy when staff see that glasses are empty. We spent half an hour with food of a one and a half hour visit. Poor, poor customer service. We have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant, our main food had clearly been sitting and forgotten about. We actually would have been very forgiving of this had the staff been apologetic and not made us feel like we were to blame. We will not be back.

Coffee quality is the same as other Costas. I find it often takes a bit longer to get served in here compared to other stores though.

It's quite infuriating when drive thru is prioritised despite having 5 members of staff working. Not enough sitting areas. Prices for a cuppa are ridiculous.

Tesco Extra Coatbridge. Very poor for a mother's day visit @2pm No Trolleys, Congested with cages, Out of Date Fresh Food, Frozen Food items unavailable, many items with no labels to identify price, cardboar d everywhere, and a phone shop shut. Not the best. Went to ASDA across the road

Booked a meal and bus to/from Hampden for Pink, everything was brilliant, down to the place was playing Pink through dinner. Meal was good, cocktails were great and reasonably priced and most of all the staff were brilliant. Everything went well with the transport, will use this service again. Thank you!

We ordered steak pie,which was delivered pipping hot. Tender and fresh. Portion size was more than expected. Great choice

Had lunch here on Saturday while passing through Coatbridge. It’s now called Twenty3. I had the salt and chilli chicken, which was lovely with sweet chilli sauce. Nice big portion. I had the lasagne and chips for my main course, it was really tasty and again, a nice big portion. The staff were so lovely, really polite and helpful. Service was quick as well. Nice place inside, comfortable and smart.
