Nice clean hotel, restaurant menu good choice, good quality food, no complaints, friendly staff.

I stayed here with my son & mum 27-28 March 2025. The rooms are very comfortable & clean and have everything you need.

We have now stayed here around 10 times and just love it, both house keeping and reception staff are lovely and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Food in the restaurant is beautiful! Glad we found this place.

Great hotel, basic in some areas and could do with some rennovation especially in the bathrooms but no different to your standard chain. Receptionist with blonde hair was so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant was closed; and she went as far as writing down recommendations and directions to some in the local area. A great experience. Rooms were cold with the electric heaters, slightly confusing to work but did warm up once I figured it out. Some instructions would be helpful, as after a long day at work( sometimes even the simplest of things can be confusing lol. Parking lot was a huge bonus too, very secure and well lit - great hotel for solo stays as plenty food options nearby and shops.

Lovely hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is doing an upgrade of the rooms. I have stayed in the older rooms, which were great and the new ones are really well finished. Restaurant attached does great food. Recommend for anyone staying in the local area.

I am not a frequent hotel user but needed to overnight on business. Nice under cover brightly lit car parking right in front of hotel was partly why I chose this one over the others. I had a good night with no noise. The free breakfast was very good - and promptly served, which meant I could get away by 7.30am.

Super convenient for the ice rink, free parking, very welcoming front of house staff. Some issues with the room such as broken lights but really does that actually matter? Nope. The bed was super comfortable and I had such a good sleep. The restaurant attached is AMAZING. You’ll want to book in for breakfast and book advance for an evening meal at least once. The staff are the same as when I came a year ago, which says it all. Thank you mondo, if you were a degree you’d be first class with honours.

Not a bad hotel, my only issue is that the walls are incredibly thin. I have stayed twice and ended up being kept awake through other inconsiderate guests shouting at all hours.

Stayed at the Mondo hotel on 21st December in a suite, the room and bathroom was immaculate, staff extremely friendly and a great location, would definitely stay again.

Fantastic dining experience tonight at Mondo for our Christmas get together. The menu was excellent with the brazed beef being a standout for our table. Staff were exceptional and friendly and top marks to the kitchen for great quality dining. 10/10 from me.

What a shame that the actions of some staff can make your trip such a negative experience.

Great hotel. Superb restaurant! If you’re staying at the hotel, be sure to try the restaurant, but book a table well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Two carparks, one is easy to get into and has a height restriction on it, the lower carpark is around the back of the hotel. Both good sizes Quick check on all information given Lift to all floors The room was a good size as was the shower room. Bed is super comfortable Wifi excellent Shower was hot and powerful then ½ though just lost power and it just dribbled out. Evening meal was good, tad on the pricey side, service was excellent. Location in the center of town, lots of nice walks close by. Would definitely stay again but definitely check the water situation first! And the biscuits as it was an opened packet with 1 eaten!!!

Stayed overnight to attend an event in Coatbridge. All the staff were great, friendly and had a load of helpful advice about the local area. Breakfast was tasty and a good size (we also got a nice window view seat). Clean rooms. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Stay here for a few day to visit family and friends. Great Location for us walking distances for a lot of places we went to. Would recommend staying here. Staff were very nice and friendly.

Been staying here for work, comfortable Rooms that feel modern, Great powerful shower, Clean and tidy with friendly staff also the rooms come with a meal allowance for the restaurant as-well which is quite generous and very nice, tried something new every evening and never been disappointed would definitely stay here again. Also for workers there is free fairly secure parking available for sprinter sized Vans just outside the hotel under the multistory. Only one gripe really is the TV does not have an accessible HDMI slot for Firesticks etc so week long working away bring a laptop or iPad.

Stayed overnight here at the weekend and I have to say I was less than impressed. Front main entrance is not signposted very well, couldn't find it from the main road n resteraunt staff had to point me in the right direction, sat nav seems to take you to the car park for the resteraunt. When I got into the room there was very little room to manoeuvre a wheelchair and when I went into the bathroom I seen that the shower catcher for the drain hadn't been put back in and was left at the side of the shower. After I called reception she came up to see what I was talking about and said aw that's just need to be put back in, simple yes but that's not my job and it's the last thing you would expect to do when checking into a hotel. Lastly for the price breakfast was a real let down had to choose between a cup of tea or glass of juice, no option to have both when other hotels have both options. In all honestly if it wasn't for the staff being so lovely it would be a 1 star all round and will definitely not be recommending this hotel to anyone.

Staff as always very welcoming and helpful. Rooms were very clean and bed extremely comfortable. Location 1 min walk to the town centre. My real grumble is with the breakfast even though it was free due to me booking direct..it was more like an English breakfast..no Square slice No Black Pudding No Haggis..I would have been happy to have paid..

Mondo Hotel offers very clean, light, and comfortable rooms with plenty of free parking. While corridors and communal areas may be untidy, it's less concerning for short stays. However, breakfast falls below expectations for the price; nearby food options, including McDonald's, are preferable. Ideal for business travelers but not recommended for tourists.
