Dalshannon Farm Indian Restaurant (Glasgow) in North Lanarkshire

Had a very good curry. 1 rice portion between 2 people was more than enough. Starters are a bit on the small side so better to get a few different ones if you are wanting to try different ones and share.

Very average. Not as good as I remembered. Won't rush back

All meals excellent. Service splendid. Sadly very quiet. Most enjoyable evening would recommend it.

Excellent food as always, but sadly, service on Saturday was poor three times. we asked to place our order, and then we had to ask four times for the bill. If I wasn't so polite, I could have walked out without paying with the way we were being ignored.

After hearing so many good things about this place and finally getting around to visit we were disappointed to say the least. Food is not up to restaurant standards, have had better food from your average takeaways. Extremely disappointed and definitely wouldn't waste money in here again.

Takeaway….. chicken pakora was ok ……. Chicken bhoona was poor ….. watery sauce and chicken tough but white…. Another mediocre Indian meal from this place , no more chances….Shame though as the reviews led me to try again…. Disappointed!….. Tesco curry would be a better option than this place!!…. Never again!!!!.

Takeaway never arrived as they guy cancelled the order . They took the money and never refunded or phoned to say there was a problem. Still waiting on refund

Amazing Chasni and great prices. Will definitely be back! Been back multiple times and still amazing. Back yet again and Chasni still as good. Also very accomodating if you need advice on dietary recommendations like dairy free etc.

Best Indian restaurant in Cumbernauld! This place never fails to provide high quality food. It has a great menu with a wide range of curries. The staff are always so helpful and friendly. Most of the food is gluten free and the staff are very knowledgeable about allergies/intolerances. I would highly recommend a visit here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for dinner on Monday evening. Mixed pakora and chicken balti. Was lovely. Great service. Definitely be back.

Went yesterday for a meal not been in years to it and it was incredible front of house staff were so polite and nothing was too much trouble spoke to Mo and the waiter who served us both extremely nice then the food came and it was beautiful my lamb dish was so tender and portions great i had to take a doggy bag 100% I would recommend this restaurant and also place is immaculate white linen table cloths and serviettes old school stuff rarely seen today will definitely be back..thanks guys

Out for my sons birthday meal food was delicious and staff were good with my little one and very friendly.

Ordered a takeaway on line for 3 people. 15% discount was great, but food not so. Very small portion of chicken pakora, with loose bits of batter thrown in. The prawn and tikka dishes were average. Chicken in the ceylonese was dry and the sauce tasted off. Overall disappointed. Have been to the restaurant on occasion for a meal, but never takeaway. Unfortunately, won't be ordering from there again.

Nice place for a meal with family, been a few times and food is always good

Food was excellent, only complaint was the tables were too close to strangers you could here each others conversations, would think twice going back..pity.

Great Indian food, Thoroughly enjoyed it

First visit here in a while and was very impressed. Great food and service. Struggled to get a taxi home and staff offered to wait until it arrived to ensure we got away safely.

We booked here for a funeral lunch as our beloved deceased loved his curry from here. The food was amazing the service was first class and even fussy eaters found something to enjoy. As ever there was loads of food left over so the staff helpfully boxed it up and the hospital staff at A&E in Forth Valley enjoyed their carry out Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion

Delicious Indian food which was served promptly. The restaurant is lovely to sit in with plenty of room for larger parties. There is also a bar which is very good 👍 and well staffed . Not too expensive either . Thank you for a great night on Saturday.

Nice premises and sit in. Had a disappointing takeaway one time (bhuna sauce was very watery) but eat here quite often and was clearly just a blip. Good selection of food and tasty.

First time trying a takeaway from here, very disappointing. The onion bhaji rings were horrible. Hard, dry batter surrounding something unrecognisable. The pakora? Again, dry batter and the chicken pakora was particularly hard. The 2 pooris were ok and the korma was quite nice. The rice and the pakora sauce were the stars of the show, too little, too late though. I don’t like posting negative reviews but this was genuinely disappointing, whoever put those bhaji rings in a bag and thought they were acceptable has no love of food. I’ll give this place a miss next time I fancy Indian food. However, other reviews seem to be very positive so I guess I just got them on a bad night.

Good food and usually decent service but on this last visit staff seemed generally disinterested. We waited to order coffees at the end of our meal but no-one came near us and in the end we just paid the bill and left. Spoiled what was otherwise a good meal. Fish pakora is especially recommended.

Visited yesterday with my cousin , we’ve not been here since last August & what a lovely evening, food was delicious the lamb desi was really tasty, staff were great & very attentive. Very clean restaurant with very polite and friendly staff. Food is delicious!!!

Well organised in the current pandemic. Good screening and sanitiser arrangements. Food was, from beginning to end, absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and attentive. However, one point to note is that the 1.5 hour table slot does make it all feel a bit too rushed. Assumption is that this is due to distancing and capacity balancing, but it does mean that it's a 4 star experience and not a 5!

Food was good when we got it. Service was awful. There was only 3 staff in diningroom one of who ran in took our order. Ran back with our starters. Then our plates sat for 3/4 hour. Had booked table for 7.30. Didn't finish eating till 9.15. There was a function on I noticed. Wouldn't recommend going at pay weekend or when theirs a function on.

This is by far the best restaurant in Cumbernauld . Attentive staff and food is very decent. Both meals were superb and always make sure I eat here every couple of months. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Starter nice main meal would have been nice if it was an authentic curry sauce? Looked like it was shop bought added some spices ( not much) & thickened with cornflour, probably one of the worse Indian (so called) I have ever tasted , wont be back

Decent food - but very bad at takeout - no 15% discount, regardless of what they say on website. Ordered 4 mains and sides. However; a) No 15% discount applied (see menu on website) b) 2 of the mains were wrong. Didn’t realise errors until we got home. We were so hungry that rather than drive there and back again, and wait another 15 mins for food, we just made do with the incorrect mains. If you use takeout, check they’ve given you what you asked for, and make sure you hold them to their advertised takeout discounts off the sit-in menu prices. All in all, I feel ripped off. This felt like the kind of rough service you might get from a faceless 4-in-1 midnight takeout.

First visit last night with family and was very impressed with the warm friendly reception. The menu was excellent and tried a dish I hadn’t had before, it didn’t disappoint. Staff were attentive and we had an excellent experience. Will be revisiting soon. Thanks guys 👏🏻

Was having a lovely meal, then at the bill there was extra charges for food, also being charged £2.40 for half a pint of water. We queried and was told it was "obvious". Said we wouldnt be back and was laughed at by the staff. Disgusted ! No way to run a business
