Heavily seasoned, but the beef chow mein is good value. Chicken balls were nice. The downside was the sweet and sour sauce. Tasted artificial, hence one star knocked off. It's like they used lemon squash/cordial to make it. Use real sugar and vinegar with ginger and soy sauce. Everything costed £20 which is really good value. Place was clean and staff friendly. Would not recommend the fried rice, no egg in it.

First time visiting for takeaway coffee and lunch. Absolutely amazing service. Very friendly and obviously proud of his food, all homemade on premise. Coffee was fab Peanut and raspberry scone, delicious Burrito wrap, amazing Daughter recently moved into area so will definitely be visiting again. Prices very reasonable for quality of food

Loved this chippy but it's been closed for about a year. No explanation. just done it up just before that too? It was always busy. Easily the best chippy about too. It's a shame

Estuve en este bar una noche de karaoke. Me gusta mucho este bar pero, lamentablemente, el karaoke compere no parecía entender los parámetros de su trabajo. La gente no va al karaoke para escuchar al compere en un viaje del ego. Su trabajo es presentar cantantes de karaoke, no cantar tantas canciones él mismo como él quiere. Había varias personas allí que tenían sus nombres para una canción y no tuvieron la oportunidad de cantar.

If you fancy a filled roll or breakfast then this is a great place to stop off - Everything is not expensive, fresh and the staff are extremely friendly, full of patter. It also has an on site bakery where everything is made fresh on the day - their sugar ring doughnuts are particularly good - everything a mass market doughnut is not. Fresh, light, full of flavour, greasy and sugary - extremely good. Just like doughnuts used to be before factory production got it's way. Well worth a diversion or pop in if you're in the area, not far from The Barras are they're open on a Sunday

Asked for a chicken kebab, was given a cold donner. The craftsmanship meant the food spilled out of the wrap straight out of the foil. I paid £5.20 to immediately throw a poorly wrapped, cold kebab in the bin. Where is the justice?

I had a takeaway pizza from Dominos cranhill and asked for extra jalapeños. Several times when I’ve asked for extra jalapeños the pizza has arrived with hardly any at all on it. Last night was the worst so far with half my pizza having no jalapeños on it at all. Of the slices that did have any on, it was maximum 2 small pieces. As this is now a frequent occurrence I’m thinking as they charge £4 for extra jalapeños I want what I paid for. I might not be using Domino’s for much longer.

Used to order regularly thought I would try again very disappointed food very dry and tasteless very little sauce chicken balls very dry won’t be using again

Used this place for years always good food & good prices...

would have been a five star, but the onion rings were very greasy not how the usually are. hopefully better again next time.

Beef and oyster sauce dish, very grey looking and the meat and sauce has no flavour. It tastes a bit off, can’t even have one spoonful
