Super Wok in Glasgow City

We enjoyed our takeaway - salt and pepper king prawn with boiled rice and chicken and mushroom with fried rice. Satay sauce on the side was tasty too. Reasonably priced and quick take away service. We’ll be back.

First time trying here tonight after a long shift at work. Definitely didn't disappoint. Ordered salt and chilli chicken with thin noodles and asked for satay sauce on top. Food is delicious, service was quick and girl was friendly. Will definitely be back 😊

The food was OK but curry sauce and fried rice was the best same with the chicken. But the gravy doesn't taste much good

Terrible service! Usually order by phone & collect myself. Girl answers fone & instantly says she's putting me on hold for 2 minutes...& i mean 2 minutes! Then eventually comes back asking what i want. Had to repeat order 3 times as she clearly wasn't concentrating on what i was saying & then says she has to put me on hold again to go & check about my side order which i always have with no problems when i have dinner from here. A guy usually answers who's really good & takes my same order with no issues. I ended up telling her to forget it & i'd order elsewhere... maybe good idea to tell whoever was answering fone at 9:10pm 15/07/24 to concentrate better on fone orders as it's just as important as the people ordering in the shop!! Not my problem if shop is busy & i shouldn't be put on hold for over 2 minutes as soon as she answers the phone (likely to take people's orders who are in the shop), be made to repeat my order several times because she's not really listening to me then wanting to put me on further hold again because she doesn't have a clue about what's on the menu & what I'm ordering? Very weird...

Below average food and payment only via cash! That's really bad. I ordered chicken noodles! It didn't taste good. Yuk taste with lots of soya sauce! Don't waste money 💰

Food very good, reasonable prices, only criticism is that order took long and deliveries took priority. Over the in shop customers, staff were very friendly. Would use this takeaway again.

Waited nearly two hours for delivery,and when we called,the owner wouldn't even come to the phone ,that's his customer care eh!!

Been going to super wok on Duke Street for years, last night had the same chicken curry finely chopped with fried rice, it was that spicy hot I couldn't eat it, rang to complain and was told its the same recipe we have always used..... aye no worries 👍 won't be back, very disappointed

I got a chicken curry from super wok on the 17th of December 2021 and when I got home the chicken was very tough I wouldn't recommend anyone to get a chicken curry from here I called the shop and the girl had said to the cook and he said the chicken is meant to be tough

Waited over 1 hour 40 mins for food. No communication from the shop to let me know that the driver was having problems. Will never use them again so poor customer service

Salt and pepper munchie box is honestly the best thing I've ever consumed can't get over it. Just moved to the area and this will definitely be my regular Chinese

Was ok curry was not as good as it use 2 be got another curry the other day thout it would be differnt but no 2 be hounest wont be back the chicken was like rubber gravy must have forgot w put it in really went down hill

but delivery was not on time, shop told it will take 30 mins but took nearly 2 hours and cold, Told the delivery guy, not even a simple apology

Up until tonight I've recommended this Chinese to everyone. However, tonight I received my delivery and it was AWFUL. The chicken in the Chicken Fried Rice was not chicken at all. It was full of skin and fat. When I say fat, there were pieces 4cm x 1cm that were 100% fat. Neither of us could eat it. I called the business to complain, expecting to be offered something else. Was I heck! I was offered 20% off my NEXT order! When I said I would leave a review online explaining what happened they quickly changed their attitude. I was told the delivery driver would collect the offending items and give me a refund. I thought it had been sorted. Then the delivery driver turned up and without even opening the container stated the chicken was fine. When he opened it, again, in stilted English he told me 'the chicken fine'. We couldn't eat it. In fact, I wouldn't even give it to my dog. Or an enemies! After all that, I never even managed to speak to a manager. Customer service seems to have died a very painful death in this takeaway. Along with what was previously good food. Avoid like the plague.

Staff member answered the phone before serving me and I commented on this being a bit unfair that they had jumped the queue. I paid with a tenner and ages later she gave me my change, which I looked at for a while, suddenly she realised she had short-changed me a couple of quid.

Great food but they definitely need another phone line and more staff. Have to phone over 30 times before I can get through to anyone on busier nights
