Arrived with my wife and two young grandchildren, given a table and menu. It was just after 5 pm, there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. It was cold inside and after 15 min of being ignored we left, without even being asked if all was well.
Absolutely no idea why they are open.

The picture and text don’t match it at all, but the customer service said that this is done differently, so shouldn’t they be sent the same method as he did?
Terrible service. The pink tea was expensive than the English breakfast tea and was cold, too sweet and tasteless. I was a tourist and was in hurry to catch my train so I thought to grab tea quickly. I have been given such horrible tea by one of the lady. I have paid around 8 pounds for 2 cups of terrible cold tea which suppose to be hot.
Esta no fue mi primera experiencia de este café siempre muy ocupado, pero tengo que decir que tiene que haber una mejor gestión del servicio y la organización del personal, más ayuda en la cocina tal vez! Pero varias más de 5 mesas se mantuvieron esperando a ser servidas durante mucho tiempo , para nosotros la comida era de calidad inferior y para nuestra abuela se le presentó un gran plato de cerámica ! ¡Como digo muy ocupado tal vez un poco de competencia ayudaría a las cosas!
My usual Chinese takeaway was closed chose this one as had been told their food and service was the best I'm sorry but I don't agree there was more batter than children there was more bone and sauce than meat won't be back
God. The £17 cheeseburger was painfully unseasoned. That’s a lot of money for a mid burger. The fries that came with were all broken. I gave up on them because whenever I went to dip, the sauce got on to my fingers.
I only ended up eating here because the place the front desk recommended gave me really cold food.
The dessert was a mid dessert.
On three recent occasions Captains have not been able to fulfil my order and a cheaper alternative was agreed. They have not refunded the difference despite me sending two separate issues via their website contacts page. They have not even bothered to contact me. Food is good but customer service is poor especially when they overcharge but do not refund.
We visited Greggs in Windmillhill Street, Motherwell this afternoon.
There are 9 tables and they were all vacant but not cleared, with crumbs, wrappers etc.
There were 6 members of staff present. 2 were serving and the others were laughing and and joking and 2, wearing Santa Hats, were dancing about.
We cleared a table ourselves and another customer who followed us in, did the same.
The floor badly needed swept with crumbs everywhere.
Greggs is great for coffee and a quick snack and I go to various branches regularly but this particular branch needs attention.
Having previously given an unfavourable review last year, it’s only right that I update this with how my latest order was. I’m delighted to say that I was impressed with the prompt delivery, the friendliness of the courier and the delicious food - including the lovely chips!
