The best restaurants in Livingston South West Lothian Edinburgh and Lothian

I've had incredibly mixed experiences at this location. Some absolutely stellar, and some pretty bad. I haven’t posted any reviews yet because the good and bad usually balance out, it really depends on the staff and the day. However today, not only one thing went wrong, almost everything did. For starters, there was only a short line at the drive-thru, which is usually good, except despite there only being 3 cars in front of me, the wait still creeped up to 15 minutes. Parking lot wasn’t full, the inside was quiet, so while I’m understanding of wait times whilst it’s busy, this was ridiculous. After paying £5 for a coffee, you skimmed off the top few inches, not filling the cup. Very disappointing, and didn’t help that it tastes like burnt coffee. When you charge as much as you do for a drink, I think it’s appalling to rip off your customers by not putting the right amount or making it correctly. Despite the line building up behind me at the drive-thru, staff were standing around and not working (which given the wait time, didn’t seem right) . The only person who appeared to be working was the woman at the drive-thru window. She appeared to be both taking the orders and working the window, seemed frazzled (either new or just juggling too much), and was receiving no help from the other staff who didn’t appear overly busy. She was brilliant (Working drive-thru roughly around April 2nd, 9:00-10:00), albeit struggling, and the only saving grace for the visit.

Honestly the worst experience I’ve had in a banquet style restaurant. £51 for the two of us and we really didn’t enjoy the food at all. Chicken was tasteless, naan breads were chewy and couldn’t eat them. The Japanese fresh cooked food wasn’t too bad and if you order a fresh naan from the live cooking section it was a bit better than the others. Pizza wasn’t that good either. Overall we weren’t impressed at all. They didn’t even ask if we enjoyed the meal after. Probably just as well.

12/10 delivery driver was amazing couldn’t of asked for better I entered the wrong address number but she was still able to delivery my food THANK YOU ! she was perfect and she needs a raise thank you so much dominos a lucky to have such a brilliant woman working for them x

Absolutely disgusting food 3 times I had to change my meal and the third wasn't much better

Absolute disgrace, took nearly two hours to arrive after complaining twice that it was late. On the flip side it arrived warm and was good. However with their policy of delivering only once they have more than one order to go out we will not be ordering again.

We eat at prezzo livingston last night ,greeted by Elena with a smile and very pleasant and friendly service, took us to a table and chatted in a friendly manner, food ordering very efficiently, Stuart the manager was excellent and again chatted away and very attentative, lots of menu choices and very reasonably priced food quality excellent. Stuart and his team 1st class team and the best customer service in town .

We would like to support a local business , but sadly we decided not to return here. Lovely staff, but the food is hit and miss, we each had 3 courses, out of the 6 dishes one was fantastic ( though not very hot, and served on a cold plate). The others were either OK or quite bad . The Haggis starter was a bit tastless, and a steak, ordered medium rare was rare, almost blue. The staff are lovely, but there is no atmosphere, its brightly lit and was so very cold many diners had their coats on. The overall feel is of eating in an upmarket converted office. Its so tough running a restaurant, maybe a smaller menu, and a bit spent on styling it and creating sections would help the place feel more intimate.

Brilliant food at a great price, served by friendly and professional staff in a nice venue which is clean and inviting. Nothing more needs said…

DO NOT ORDER ON THEIR WEBSITES So I used to love it, but recently made an order on their website and they took my payment... But turns out they've closed down so I got no food (if you drive past like I did a couple days later, a new business is advertising they're moving into the space). Tried to call to get a refund to no response which meant I had to make a dispute with the bank about the payment. Just an absolute pain

Would like to say a huge thank you to the ladies looking after us while we celebrated a birthday in the restaurant. Service, food and attention to detail were excellent. We had a lovely night. Thank you again

Fantastic night stay, staff so friendly and welcoming. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was quick with being buffet style. Would recommend.

As in the title. The fish had a nice, crispy batter. Quick service, tv while waiting, they do deliveries

Unfortunately, really not impressed with this place. We went here because their website said they were doing the "eat out to help out" scheme. We were charged full price. When I questioned it, I was met with a confused "no?". Also, a massive GDPR issue for me. Beside the till, was a list that we put our name and number on for track and trace. I could quite clearly see everyone's details, just left on the counter for anyone to see! Honestly, online this place looked so great, but it was a disappointing reality. The muffins were average. Like nothing special. I was really surprised at the prices of things. Like almost a fiver for a small cheese toasty, which, again, was nothing to write home about. Also my coffee was very bland. Normally coffee is a bit bitter for me, so I take sugar, but not with this. Was pretty tasteless. I doubt I'll be going back here.

We had a carvery today. Meal was amazing. Barry was so friendly and helpful. We were made to feel welcome and not rushed to eat our meal then leave. Will be back again.
