Amazing experience of a full Scottish. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. The food is fresh and so tasty. Really enjoyed it.

First visit to DINE Craiglockhart but it won’t be the last. Service was warm, welcoming and attentive throughout. Food and drinks were faultless! Water served routinely and prompt drinks served with a smile. Bread and olives…….Starters of Ham Hock; soups of the day. Mains of Angus Sirloin; Angus Ribeye; Braised ox cheek. The kids got stuck into the excellent junior menu. Desserts were also noteworthy. Creme Brulee and artisan ice creams all round. Faultless. Everything cooked to perfection. On the drinks front - great wine and cocktail selection. We enjoyed well shaken aperitifs and an excellent bottle of superior quality Prosecco…. an equally superior Valpolicella followed with the steaks. Finished with brandies, Baileys (in chilled glass - the minor details matter) and then coffees. Incredible. The decor and ambience creates a warm, inviting setting for the food that follows. If you’ve not been before, we can’t recommend this gem highly enough and hope the locality continues to support the restaurant. Almost worth moving to the area with this on your doorstep ! All at DINE Craiglockhart must be very proud of what’s being delivered here. Neighbourhood dining at its finest…..

Visité Hanks para conseguir mi desayuno en el camino al trabajo. Mis colegas son habituales aquí así que pensé en intentarlo. Pude conseguir mis rollos de bollos de patata que eran muy agradables, pero no tenían té de menta. Tuve que ir a otro lugar por eso que fue un poco decepcionante. Aparte de eso fue bueno.

What a find when needing coffee and a cake on a Saturday morning when waiting for my son to finish up at a nearby birthday party. Lovely, friendly service, good coffee and a lovely selection of snacks. I was able to grab one of the tables and sit and work for a wee bit, just listening to life go by as I did. Magic.

Chicken curry so overcooked it was replaced. Lager totally flat. Will never return.

The home of epic filled rolls! Loads of choices, good banter with the staff and quick service. Come and support your independent local sandwich shop and grab a tasty roll, cake, soup, soda and more!

Good for late night food when nothing is open.

I'd been meaning to visit this place for years, and now I finally got the chance. Sadly, it appears to be closing, so I probably won't get another chance. The food was excellent, and the service was even better. The kind of friendly family-style place that's rare in Edinburgh these days.

Local cafe with good food and reasonable prices, the staff is always friendly and they serve the Scottish traditional food :)

Excellent food, very fresh and tasty! Friendly service and very reasonable price. Went for lunch and had one main and two sides for £12.95. Would definitely recommend. We got Falafel, humous, sweet potato fries, chicken nuggets and chips (from children’s menu). It was great! They made a fuss of the 2 year old that was with us, very child friendly.
