Fab food in a relaxed atmosphere. Great service from Hiba. Highly recommended if you're in this part of town.

Wonderful food and a great value. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options, clearly labeled. Our server was Hiba, who was super friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. Would definitely eat here again.

Absolutely beautiful food stayed in the hampton by hilton hotel .edinburgh 2nd till the 4th of April, this restaurant is in the grounds of the hotel, the service was next to none, couldn't do enough for you, the staff are lovely, friendly and the restaurant is so clean, thank you for your hospitality.

The original sauce half chicken is amazing it's perfectly cooked and the lemon and herb sauce compliments it greatly.

I've ordered thru deliveroo a number of times and the food is good and consistent. It's actually really good food. My only gripe is that my delivery is constantly being shared with other orders which then takes ages to get to me is annoying but not their fault

The restaurant itself is just fine. It‘s nothing special, the menu is unspectacular and there is not much variety to choose from. My friend and I got our food in time and found it, again, just fine, though not satisfying. The service I found quite lacking, as it seemed the staff would rather talk to each other than take orders or let their costumers pay. Our waiter kept having to be reminded to come over to us by his colleagues, even though it was completely empty. I wouldn‘t really recommend until they‘ve improved their staff and expanded the variety of the menu.

I really liked the chicken burger. The service could have been a bit better. They switched up our sides and were overall a bit distracted. The atmosphere was overall pretty nice tho

The staff were super accommodating and friendly. I also noticed they seemed to know a lot of customers, greeting them by name when they came in, which says good things in itself. The food was really delicious, thoughtfully presented and very reasonably priced for the portion sizes.

The dishes are really hearty and well prepared!!! The service was also perfect despite the language barrier. We had an incredible time thank you very much!!!

Great food and even better service. We went here in the afternoon asking if we must make reservations. A guy named Faris said we didn't and assured us everything would be okay. 5 hours later we came for dinner and he actually remembered our names. Throughout the diner he (and the other staff members) offered fast service. They also chatted with us and played a few (appropriate and funny) jokes on us. Food was tasty and more than enough. My wife had a lemonade which she didn't like the taste of (matter of preference). She instantly got another drink and this wasn't charged even though we didn't mention anything about not charching the drink. Also great value!

Faris and Marimar are lovely colleagues here, platter came at a reasonable time and the platter was delicious, would come again!

Decided to get takeout and take it to my hotel room. Placed the order over the phone and Hiba was of great help. I ordered the Daoud Basha and Fattoush. Daoud Basha had great flavors, nice and hot, and portion was perfect. Best part was the extra tomato sauce, so you can eat it with your saffron rice, which is included with the dish. Fattoush, refreshing and crisp salad with vegetables. Properly packaged. No leaky bag or mess. Highly recommend and can't miss it, it's right next to The Hilton.

Had our meal as a takeaway. Really flavoursome, healthy, fresh tasting. Very quick delivery, food arrived hot. One of the tastiest meals I've had in a long time.

Amazing lebanese/middle eastern food overall

Potatoes felt a bit stale. Falafel was decent. Onion rings weelre crisp. The lamb was really good but the yogurt too sour. Takeaway service was quick.

We ate at Sofia's Lounge on Christmas and it was excellent. The service was very friendly and always tried to fulfill all our wishes: table, menu selection, etc. Our order came very quickly even though the place was really full. And it tasted super delicious. Really great. We can only recommend the restaurant.

Staff were warm and welcoming, food was delicious. We were staying at the hilton attached to the restaurant and they were having issues with their alarm and the lovley lady on front of house, came to us and offered us a blanket for our baby if we needed one due to being evacuated ( didn't need to be evacuated) But it was going that extra mile that made my time here just perfect. If I could give more stars I would!!

I've only ever had good things to say about Sofia's previously (as we've been many times) but the waiter last night (20-25 dark hair, latin american I think) wasnt just rude to me, he was offensive, and also made my fiancee feel uncomfortable to the point that as soon as we exited she said "OMG - what a creep. Im glad you wanted to leave too"!  - for context, we left before even ordering! This waiter could learn some humility and in future try to be humble to customers instead of being cocky and offensive. Sadly, after this experience, we wont be back.

Upon my arrival one of the lady waitress with dark long hair and glasses recognised me. I told her I don’t need a menu as I will have the same as last night. She said the Sofia’s salad and hallumi fries? I was well impressed. She remembered me. She asked me if I would like to try a hallumi&veg skewers. It was the best thing ever. The service and the food is excellent. Most friendly staff and the most delicious authentical dishes I ever tasted. I travel a lot and I am working in hospitality (hard to impress me) but this place won me. Will be returning for the upcoming nights as I am staying at the hotel above.

Everything was very good, the service was very good and the food was very delicious.

We sadly had to cancel our table here last minute as I was unwell, however the staff couldn't have been lovelier. We decided to order takeout from them and I'm so glad we did because the food is tremendous. We'll definitely make sure to book a table sometime in the future, and soon.

The service was bizarre. As if it was everybody’s first day on the job and they had never waited tables before. We were very disappointed with the food: not what I expected at all: think ‘pub food’ but with spices. And, even though we went early and it wasn’t busy at all, not even a thank-you and goodbye from the staff all standing by the counter when we left.

I had the hurricane burger and it was delicious however they do not give chips with it and charge seperare for sauce. Although we got the food quite quick. It took forever for someone to get our bill so we could leave which is why I'm giving it 3 stars and not more. We waited like 20 mins for someone to give our bill.

Just came back to our room from the restaurant. The food was amazing - the best thing we’ve had in Edinburgh, hands down! Kudos to amazing hostess, who amid incredibly busy evening, promised to hold a table for us if we return back in 40 mins, which she did! Food was finger-licking good, huge portions, fresh, and savoury. The baklava dessert was suprisingly big, consisting of 4 pieces. Strongly recommend chicken cheeseburger, hummus, and halloumi cheese.

Came in approximately 20:05 and we order the mixed platter with drinks, the restaurant was not busy at all however we receive our drinks after ordering and it seems like they forgot to register our food even our starter option is served around 9:10 !, and there is another table order after us and their food is been served before us and they even finish their desert before our food! There excuse for the delay is that they want the chicken to be fresh and on the payment they offer us a tip option if we want after after this delay in service.
