Simply the best Shawarma, Kebabs, hummus and falafel in all of Scotland. The quality and freshness of the meat and ingredients used is amazing. And the chef and owner are really nice and cool guys. Highly recommended and has become our regular eating spot!

This establishment, when Hajar himself used to run it , was amazing - as was his Glasgow original . I was put off a couple of months ago due to the miserable finger sized 9 quid lamb shawarma , but as they are the only “proper” kebab outfit in the western south side here - bad move by me - another miserable finger of a kebab with more onion than meat . I should have complained - my bad - but I was ravenous . However it was gone in 4 bites . I don’t know about you other kebab officionados out there but if I go to go to a kebab shop I am not looking for Atkins diet stuff or something the size of a greggs sausage roll ? I want a kebab! Not some canapé ? Call me crazy …

Been for a chicken shawarma wrap, the portion was tiny for 7.99 The girl at the till made fun of me in arabic unluckily for her I understand arabic she didn't even say sorry. Shawarma house portion is twice better and staff are polite

A hidden gem, had 20 min before our show started so popped in to get a quick bite, the service was excellent, the food is so full of flavor will definitely be back to try a few more of their dishes

My partner and I have been here several times in the last few months. The premises are spotless, and the food is incredible. My partner has spent many times talking to the owner, who has always been friendly, grateful and always offered my partner to taste various dishes to see what he likes. I had a lamb shawarma tonight and it was absolutely delicious. Such a shame that people leave such nasty reviews, especially at this time when they need customers to keep their business afloat. Great food and service 5*****

This place is authentic and delicious. I recently moved into the neighborhood and we've been twice now. Both times the owner Hajar was there and very friendly. I have no idea what other people are talking about with their reviews. I think they are fake. Please go here and support these guys who are just trying to make a living during this tough time. We ordered for three people, three open mixed shawarma. The lamb and chicken are very tasty and authentic (I am Lebanese and have a high standard). The garlic sauce is so good, I would recommend asking for extra for the chips. The bread they use is freshly made in a tandoor, I know not traditional but the naan works perfectly with the meat and garlic sauce. This is true shawarma meat too, not that Turkish donor kebab meat. We will be back there soon and next time we will take pictures. This time we didn't take a minute to take a picture as we were too hungry and ate it all too quickly. They told us they are extending their opening hours for Summer from April 2021. So we will be back!

Not recommended at all, food not prepared on time, bad customer service, poor quality and rude staffs

Worst place ever to come to , terrible service made me wait 50 mins just for my order even when I ordered in advance over the phone and the guy said it will be done in 10 mins which wasn’t the case having me wait about the shop for a further 40 mins all due to dropping one of the kufta kebabs into the hot coal. And yet to come was is the worst part by being served raw meat that was pure pink inside without realising after taking a few bites . Honestly worst experience and would not recommend this place to anyone 🤢🤢🤮🤮

I will make sure I will reporting to food standards agency. After he swore at me - disgusting attitude to have and I will be contacting the authorities.

My husband and I ordered two barbecue chicken main courses. When I bit into my first piece of chicken I immediately knew it was not cooked as it tasted rubbery. I cut open all the pieces of chicken to find they were all raw inside,although looked cooked on the outside. I called the Shawarma King straight away & explained all of this. To my disgust they tried to offer me more of the same food & thought I would come to collect it. I demanded my money back and asked that they bring it to my house. After initially agreeing to this a different employee came on the phone and shouted that they would not give a refund and had I "played nice" they would have delivered replacement food to me. As I hadnt,he screamed at me saying I could go the shop If I wanted to complain further. He then hung up the phone. I would never use this place again and will be going to Food Standards Agency to complain on Monday morning. Do not go here as there is a good chance you will get FOOD POISONING!!

What an amazing experience Lovely staff they were friendly and polite Nice clean place (it’s small but cozy and comfortable) Food was delicious specially the grilled food... of course the shawarma is yummmmy....🤤🤤 I ve been here many times and every time it was an excellent experience

I have been their regular customer for a year, honestly i can say this place is spotless! the service is great. My fave is the Shawarma King Roast it’s fab

Since changing hands, tried their 'lamb kebab on a naan'. It was served in a 'pizza' like box with the naan cut up into triangles with the lamb and various onions etc sort of layered in between?? very messy and not what I expected or have ever had before?? Would not like another! Have not tried their wraps so cannot comment on them. I would prefer the 'old fashioned' pitta with meat, mayo, various veg/salad and chilli sauce!!!! This is only a few 100 yards from where I live, so disappointed with food and presentation. Could have been my local 'go to' (as was the Efes before)

I tried so many items from their menu and was never disapointed! Their lamb Shawarma is honestly to die for! bread always fresh and the meat juicy... would go every week if I could.. :)
