The best restaurants in Almond Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh and Lothian

Felt very intimidated when I walked in to use toilet and then purchase an item. Woman with blonde hair in a ponytail shouted at me and was very rude and making faces at me for using the toilet first after stating I was going to buy an item. Before being so concerned about you toilet use, you should probably have a look at your customer service :)

Absolutely amazing all day breakfast rolls. Don't bother with chain outlets as you get PROPER value for money here. Very friendly too!

Olga was a great server. America coffee was definitely America, not too strong. Food came out quickly and tasted great. Flight info posted across from bar.

Norton House is beautifully located surrounded by lovely gardens. The modern suite is a great light space, the food is great and the spa is fantastic. As a wedding photographer, I love the variety of spaces, the stairwell in the main house. The bedrooms are well thought out, spacious and great for wedding preparations.

Been here a few times as I live in the area. yesterday was appalling... I got served tea with milk and should have been without. I went to the counter and politely asked the chap with the black beard for a replacement, he looked so angry and didn't even apologise! he shouted when the new one was done and it was so hot I had to leave it for 10 minutes to cool down only to be told they closed in 15 minutes.. (apparently the dishwasher was also broken and it was in a takeaway cup) there were clean cups on top of the coffee machine. I don't know about you, but tea in a paper cup isn't my cup of tea. Not the first time that my friends received bad service and rudeness. If you don't like your job, go find another and leave the paying customers away for the drama in your head inflicted onto us.

El personal era increíble, nunca he estado en un lugar tan ocupado pero eficiente al mismo tiempo, sin estrés y la comida era rápida y deliciosa. El servicio fue increíble y se ocupó del restaurante muy ocupado muy bien sin duda volveremos.

Did not feel welcomed on arrival. The rooms were dirty with dirt marks on wall and carpet. Bottled water were inclusive? But they were not present in the room. Breakfast staff were not motivated. Overall felt dull and unwelcoming. Although there were one or two staff who were more polite and welcoming. Note that the TV has Sky, but no Cast to TV.

Normally have a very good meal here. Chicken liver parfait, Halibut and side of boiled potatoes. Biscuits and cheese to finish. All tasted fine and well presented. However later that night very bad gastric upset. Alright I should have reported it on checking out but at 0410 I had other things on my mind such as getting to Edinburgh Airport to catch a flight at 0720

Delicious food and a very friendly service! I've tried the lobster bisque and the venison brioche bun...Absolutely delicious! The location is a + too... It is located in South Queensferry, which is perfect for a nice walk. No pictures because the food looked so tasty that I ate it straight away. Tasted even better than it looked.

A consistently well-poured pint of Theakstons, regardless of the member of staff serving it. Wine wasn't too bad either. Good atmosphere with views of the Forth Road Bridge.

Had a drink in outside area yesterday. Staff good friendly .one big prob was a customer was in with dog and all waiting staff came and paid alot of attention to dog (think it was member of staff ,s relation).but then served our drinks and never washed hands etc this happened .a few times the time we were there which I don,t think I was right.with everyone to be so conscious of covid and hygienie I think this was a bit off.l8ked place but this put us off.

Great Food! Our server Kirsty was really friendly and helpful.

Good selection of drinks and friendly, helpful staff. The manageress really goes the extra mile to help the customers.

Me pasé por un café y pastel y nos alegramos de que lo hiciéramos. En medio de la calle High Street, el servicio era bueno y la calidad de los bollos de café y canela era mejor. Vale la pena visitar
