Minus a point for disposable cup for people sitting in. Nice coffee though, much better than Scott's. Lots of room. Sorry can't judge the food, didn't have any.

What a location. Had a beach bar feel very well decked out. Nice menu pay, order through an app which took us a while but we got there. Before we knew it lunch and drinks were on the table. Tempura chicken was good as were the salt/vinegar fries. Asian slaw was very very dry did not enjoy that. Could perhaps think about better toilet facilities other than portaloo as the build itself is very nice bit of a shock to use a portaloo for a toilet. Would go back to try the breakfast.

Had a lovely walk over the Forth road Bridge from the Fife side and walked down to here for breakfast. Just had bacon rolls and coffee but was a lovely stop with amazing views. Sat in the outside garden area but the inside looked very nice too.

What a location! This place has everything spot on. Music, decor and menu all perfection. I felt like I was in a beach bar somewhere exotic. Chicken tempura was delicious along with salt and vinegar fries. We hope to come back in our way home and try the breakfast. Much preferred it to the main restaurant which we tried last time in Scotland. Both nice but this place has the edge.

Regularly visit Scott's and Thirty Knotts so decided to give this a try as it's part of the same family. Didn't disappoint. Dogs are vey welcome with large water bowls provided. We had chicken tempura and a burger plus chips and coffee. All made fresh to order and very nice. Slightly on the expensive side but lovely surroundings and friendly staff. The patio heaters are a nice touch and very welcome on a cold day. Will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic food from the Scotts family. Decent bacon rolls in the morning then today we tried the chicken tempura, chicken & bacon ciabatta & fries. Every piece of food is delicious & very reasonably priced. Setting is superb with the most amazing views. Outdoors but indoors with nice design. Staff are also very good. Get there before it closes for winter. We’ll be back soon.

I won't lie, I went in because of the pub name (it has an interesting historical background) but the food was absolutely first class. Bangers and mash were on point and the servers were absolutely fantastic. The prices were good, too. 10/10 recomendation.

The selection of whisky is great and the food was alright but felt it was way overpriced for the quality we received. We were also charged £8 twice for one portion of the haggis bon bons (apparently this is some kind of a service charge, ridiculous we had to pay double for one small dish) Seems like a tourist trap to be honest and I don't think we will be back. There are so many better bars with more reasonable prices and better service.

We was on a short trip in Edinburgh and this place was the best to breakfast! So tasty and handmade food and drink.
