Burrito was superb! Lady who served me was very friendly and explained the menu!

Very tasty food and very good service!

The food is amazing, and for a allergic person they cleaned the whole counter before making the borrito. And that shows the nice and respectfull way of showing care for people!

I come here before every flight through edinburgh airport and I can confirm the food is consistently good and the staff are always nice and helpful. Personally if you are hungry in the airport I would recommend coming here!

Rice was very hard and tasted off (either undercooked or out of fridge, leftover from last night ?). Took 3 bites and binned the rest . Those 3 bites were enough to give me stomach issues for 2 days afterwards!!

Cracking quick munch at the airport - fast and tasty, and really good value in comparison to a lot of the options at the airport. Area was kept nice and clean, and the staff were super helpful and chatty (thanks Daniel!)

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at BarBurrito was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it. This was hands down the worst customer service I’ve received in Edinburgh. The woman serving me practically threw the food at me as I was paying—no eye contact, no thank you, just a completely dismissive attitude. When I asked politely if I could order some fries, she immediately shut me down, saying “No, they take too long, five minutes. I don’t have time for that.” I replied, “Well, I actually do have time to wait,” but she didn’t care. From a Mexican perspective, this place is a complete letdown—not only does the food fall short of anything remotely authentic, but the hospitality (something that is such a big part of Mexican & Scottish culture) was completely missing. The experience was borderline hostile. There were five employees behind the counter, yet somehow no one could help. They seemed flustered, impatient, and annoyed when I asked basic questions about the menu, like what kind of bread was used for the torta. It felt like customers were an inconvenience. I genuinely wish I could get my money back. The food was disappointing, the service was even worse, and the overall vibe was just unpleasant. Please do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. Edinburgh has so many great spots—this is not one of them

We always love coming here for a quick bite before the flight. Burritos are packed with fillings of your choice and it's always fun selecting you fillings. Very reminiscent of Chipotle in the states. Shout out to Daniel who was super friendly and helped us make the ultimate burrito!

My friend and I came in to grab some dinner. We weren’t too sure how it worked here. The staff were the rudest people we’ve ever encountered. They were so miserable to the point I felt like I was bothering them. 1 worker (short guy) literally looked like he was about to fall asleep. The counter was a mess. Food everywhere - major cross contamination issues going on. They didn’t explain what we could have for the price and what was extra. The food itself was good Although my friend had found pieces of chicken in her PORK burrito bowl. Luckily she has no allergies to chicken but this could be dangerous. They also mention you can take away but they had no lids to cover the bowls? All in all, the food was good - can’t fault it but the staff ruined our experience.

Disappointed from starting to order, service was so basic and barely there as the man had his jogger hung off his hips, the other was watering down the sauce and mixing it in the counter. Portion was minimal as you pay £11 seems alot for a basic bowl that had more rice than anything else. The sour cream was more like milk than a cream, it didn’t taste good either and assuming it was also watered down. Feel like I wasted my time and money here before my flight home. The tables were all a little dirty with bits of food left on them, felt unhygienic eating in here

My first choice every time I go through EDI airport. Great place with quick service and tasty food you can customise and a well placed departures board so no concerned about rushing for your flight. Kirsty was very welcoming and friendly, efficient with food prep, proactively checking if customers at laptops wanted another drink and quickly cleaning tables as customers left. I appreciated the service Kirsty 👍 Great QSR option!

Quick service for fresh food made in front of you, plenty of seats with charging ports and the restaurant was clean. Very attentive to allergies too. Would recommend if travelling through the airport.

WOW. What can I say, the best burrito I’ve ever had in my 75 years of existence. A young lady Kyla I believe her name was (sorry for assuming if not) wrapped my burrito, I’ve never seen burrito wrapping skills like that before. She was born for it. Was a great beginning to my holiday!

I haven't had a Burrito before, and Tyler was so helpful explaining and going through the items we could put in it. The other staff were really friendly too. It's was very tasty and filling. Very impressed with the food and service.

Employees seem half asleep and I'm not sure if they even speak english. They mumble incoherently every now and then. They got our order wrong and ignorered us when we told them. Edit: The manager, when she arrived, offered a refund. She seemed nice and like she really cared. I don't know why they have the rest employed.

The food was good. Not great. Staff were friendly. The place was quiet and some of the tables were dirty. Staff were busy chatting rather than cleaning up especially as it was close to lunch time.

I have never tried Barburrito before so was unsure what to expect. Tyler who served me was extremely helpful and examined the process. He was friendly, positive, funny and helped lift my mood after waiting for a delayed flight!

I’ve never written a review before but people should know that I got terrible food poisoning from this place. I felt mildly ill after eating a burrito with pork, beans, cheese sauce, and slaw, but it has now become full food poisoning. It’s nice that they ask about allergens, but steer clear of this place. Additionally the burrito was disgusting - mushy and sloppy. They were out of lettuce so there was nothing to give the burrito any body. It was just mushy and drippy.
