Best pizza in Edinburgh. I bring all of my guests here. My fave is salmon pizza. They also have 20% student discount! Love it. Tried their burrata cheese and its not the best one tbh. Very good service. Ask for extra siracha sauce. April Edit: the student discount is now 10%, sauce costs extra now, and the toppings are desperately less.

Service was good but the food was somehow cold tasting but the plates were roasting.

We booked for an evening meal and arrived early, they were very friendly and accommodating, the service was very fast and the food was so good. The staff were really friendly and efficient, they made the experience so much better!

Very delicious pizza 🍕 Keep in mind that this is not the branch that they sell massive slices, this branch is for the whole pizzas.

We came here without booking and had a lovely time, there were only 3 wines on the menu but I thought that they paired very well with everything we had. We had some pasta dishes and they all were filled with lovely complex flavours. We were served by peter who couldn’t have been nicer. Overall lovely experience, would recommend!

Delicious Nduja and peperoni pizza

Lovely place for a meal with family, friends, etc. Staff are really helpful and accommodating. Food is excellent. Lovely background music and atmosphere and really clean. Recommend for all groups.

First off, there's a 12.5% service charge included in the bill. Rating would have been ~ 2.5/5 if it wasn't for this. Overall value for pizza is quite poor as it's nearer the price point of what you'd get for some of the chain pizza places. Sides were a decent portion, but didn't go to a pizza place for the side. Won't be back

This place has been on my bucket list for a long time and I finally had the chance to go. Unfortunately it was a case of don’t believe the hype. The best part about the experience was the staff who were very attentive and friendly. The food however, was so average and tasteless it was so disappointing. Pizza felt slightly undercooked and was challenging to eat. Drinks were average… Overall I won’t go back here. No idea why it has been so hyped up!?

Great place, I could see where the hype is coming from. (Not least from the brand itself! ;)) Kids loved it. Pizza's and sides came in piping hot and everything tasted well. Avoid the tables near the entrance in winter though. I had to dine with my jacket on because of the cold draft.

My partner and I went here for dinner and it was such a cool vibe inside. The pepperoni pizza was delish, as well as the truffle fries! Staff were friendly. Would come back again!

We visited Civerinos after hearing good reviews. The service was friendly, with a lively atmosphere thanks to the student servers. The pizza slice, priced under €6, was generous in size but didn’t quite hit the spot for us. It’s a decent option for a quick bite, but we’ve had better pizza.

Draconian seating arrangements (was told I couldn't sit next to my 8 Year old daughter but across from her. We were the 4th and 5th customers in the restaurant. The waitresses to ask her supervisor... I said ridiculous and and sat next to my daughter because shes 8 and she asked.) The price of the slice was on point, but £2.50+ for a San Pellegrino and a coca-cola.... insane. I was confused... is this Italian via Naples or New York style pizzeria? Yes, I've eaten in both places and Naples hasn't he only real pizza in the world in my opinion. Suffice to say, it was the first and last time I'll eat here. Ciao. Arrivaderci. Ci Vediamo.

Been many times over the years but had a particularly great experience last Saturday. We wanted to grab a quick dinner but no seats inside so we were happy to sit outside. Queue the heavens opening! The staff immediately shuffled things around to find us space even with the place packed. Truly exceptional. Big up the civ team (And obviously the food was fantastic too as always!)

Warm welcome, great pizza, and a healthy portion of fries. No frills, but who cares when all the other boxes are ticked.

Amazing carbonara - food was great! Pricey - but good. Got charged for "still water" somehow...our server asked if we wanted still or sparkling - not giving tap as an option, so we chose still. Finished the bottle and he asked if we wanted another. While we waited, another server came and filled our glasses (and everyone else in the restaurant) up with tap water that was free of charge. Wasn't a fan of the sneaky behavior.

Pizza was good but 12 percent service on 2 pizza's is a joke. As a customer I should be deciding what to tip. But adding that to the bottom of the bill is rude.

Super yummy pizza - not super hot though and ingredients out of stock so couldn’t have exactly what we wanted. Very vegan friendly. Popcorn arancini was lovely!

Wow atmosphere, very nice restuarant, slice of pizza margarita came a bit cold and I felt it was heated instead of made, other 2 pizzas were 8/10 though. This place has a specialty it seems and they have perfected it.

Great food. Definitely would recommend the Chicago style, it does however take awhile so expect a wait and there is a very small chance it will split, which ours did and unfortunately had to wait awhile for another one to be made but definitely worth the wait and for the inconvenience got out wine for free. Otherwise superb service, great atmosphere and would go again

They have the best margarita in the history. We went two days in a row. They take care of allergies people. Their are very kind and friendly. I recommend everyone one to go and have dinner there. A big thanks for the people working in it.

Wanted to try this pizza place for a while, we walked in without booking and there was plenty of room but were told in a slightly frosty way we could only have the table for an hour, even though the whole downstairs was empty and when we left the restaurant was nearly empty, so was a big unnecessary to make us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. Despite that the pizza was lovely and the deep pan was good, and the other staff were very friendly, there is a service charge added on the bill and then when paying they mentioned about adding another % charge, which I felt tipping twice was a bit sneaky for people that don't realize.

The food was very tasty. The ambience is nice too. The prices were okay. However, it is very small and very narrow. Also the chairs. Otherwise really great.

Stopped in Edinburgh for the night and decided to try this restaurant out. The space inside is very well managed and decorated, providing a comfortable, energetic atmosphere. Our server Rue was wonderfully charismatic and made us feel very welcome with lovely conversation throughout our visit. The food itself was delicious; we got the wild mushroom pizza, nduja pasta and truffle fries, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed! The house wines were also very pleasant. All around a wonderful dining experience which I will recommend to anyone travelling to Edinburgh :)

Caesar salad was good with lots of chicken.Had to have the giant mozzarella stick but nothing out of this world on reflection.Felt it could have been cooked a little more to make it nice and melty.Cant fault the service.little bit draughty sitting at the door but all in all not a bad experience for a Thursday evening!!

Saw this place on Instagram and the pizzas looked unreal and so I had to try it when I came to Edinburgh to catch a flight. It delivered. The pizza was fantastic, I had the wild mushroom one with normal buffalo moz and it was delicious. The venue was nicely laid out, with a range of booths and tables. They also have extra seating downstairs. The staff were fantastic too and very welcoming, Emilie was super helpful and even assisted my choice of pizza. Will deffo be back!

My husband was craving pizza and I wanted pasta, so we popped in here. Food was really good and hit the spot. Our server, Rue, was delightful and made it a great experience.

Cute little spot on the edge of Old Town - so not as crazy crowded as mid old town! Fun atmosphere, really friendly lovely staff and AMAZING pasta! 🤩🤩 if I lived here I’d definitely be back. Reasonably priced for a full dinner portion as well. 10/10 !!

We had a really tasty dinner here, service was very attentive and our server was charming (I believe her name begun with M? Undercut in a V shape in her hair.) Pizza was really good & we got so carried away we actually missed a show. We'd return again happily, go easy on the cordial in the Hugo would be my only sticking point!

Service was good but unfortunately the food a big let down. Ordered the pork ragu and it had zero flavor. Tasted like pasta with plain tomato sauce, I added burrata which helped (because cheese makes everything better), but no way it's worth £17.50 (including burrata). My own ragu is better and I don't consider myself a good cook. Were seated in one of the downstairs room which was too hot. Won't go back.

This is the best pizza I’ve had in any part of Europe, it’s more American tasting which is my preference. Pizza was thin, cooked perfectly and had excellent pepperoni.

I love pizza and after a day of long travel this was an amazing place to be. The staff were amazing, super nice and accommodating. I will say the pizza dough is softer than I am accustomed to, but the flavors were so fresh and delicious. I even had trouble with having to book a new hotel room and even though it was nearing closing time they allowed me to hang about to use the wifi to make sure I found a place to stay. I would definitely return! Love the 90’s vibe! I got a mushroom type of pizza and added chicken with a Caesar salad. The salad was definitely bigger than I thought it would be.

Amazing restaurant just off the Royal Mile. We went in when it was very busy, but they still served us brilliantly, and the food still came very quickly even though the restaurant was full and the kitchen full of orders. Friendly, considerate and helpful waiting staff, and a great selection of meals on the menu. The pasta is particularly delicious - and they catered so well to our dietary requirements too. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be visiting again when we're up in Edinburgh in future. Kyle and the team do a great job and deserve all the praise.

Heather was great, welcoming and proactive about how the food was and offering solutions due to being sold out of Detroit slices. Pizza was nice, would have liked it to have cheese though. But nonetheless it was great highly recommend!

We unfortunately had a terrible experience here. We ordered the Chicago style deep dish pizza and were told to wait a few minutes after the pizza arrived for it to set; no worries so we did so and began to cut slices but then the pizza collapsed in on itself. We waited a good amount of time before cutting and as well as it not setting, it was cold, bland and watery. The sauce that had spilled outside the pizza began to separate on the plate and the base was soggy. This was comped and we ordered a Margherita pizza which was also unimpressive. The drinks were alright but perhaps expensive for what they were. After the meal we both began to feel unwell and were both sick that night and the following days (which happened to be our wedding!). I can't recommend this place and will not return.

Truly an excellent establishment! Your tiramisu, mamamia 😍 I highly recommend it. A real taste gem, and what's more, the place is dogfriendly with an excellent music playlist. (Only small downside: the hygiene of the toilets 🥲 without that it was a 5/5)

Service here was amazing! The gal working was very kind and attentive to us:) We got a whole pizza which was great, however we didn’t realize you can’t order by the slice at this location, they have another location down the road for that! We sat outside and it is on a hill so the tables are kind of slanted but other then that it was great!

Fifth time ordering that it's been 40-60 minutes late. On tonights occasion we were offered a refund with the pizza which was appreciated, then got a call back 5 minutes later to retract the offer, to now say the pizza would not be delivered so only a refund would be provided. We had only ordered one Margherita pizza. Better and more reliable pizza places in Edinburgh. Let down.

Great pizza option that's near all the action in the city centre. What sets this place apart though is the friendly service.

Came during the Taylor Swift weekend so had to book. Food was lovely and so were the staff. We appreciated Taylor Swift playing as we had come to see her. Service was prompt and prices good value. Portions are rather large so order accordingly. Will return!

I was super excited to visit this restaurant and I was a bit disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you love real Italian food. I had the worst ragout pasta ever. I would describe it as a cheap pork bolognese. Taste was never found in it. I didn’t love it. Plus we were seated by a tall blonde guy. Not friendly at all. The waitress was way nicer. Thanks to her to make this time here more pleasant

Had a great service and delicious pizza served fresh. Fantastic quality at a great price. I would particularly like to commemorate the staff member Adam for such a warm and friendly reception. He made our evening and couldn't be more accommodating!

Ordered three pizzas ahead, when I got there said 5 minutes, it was busy and raining so had to wait in rain, even though a couple ot tables were empty. 20 minutes later opened the door and put 4 boxes in my hands, Asked if they had a box and they were to busy to answer. Ended up with 3 wasted pizzas they wouldn't refund. Really great experience =)
