A lovely place with a lovely crew for a fresh and excellent food.

Lovely café with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's always a bit daunting eating alone as a solo female, but I felt properly looked after. Delicious food (shakshuka with toasted sourdough bread - amazing!) and I noted that the kindly owner and the young lady server went above and beyond for other diners. Loved the music and the general vibe. I will most definitely eat here again when I'm next in Edinburgh. 💕

Our server was the most lovely guy ever! He gave us 2 cakes on the house. Caesar salad was the best one I’ve had and the music was so cute overall just amazing Im so going again

Had a lovely visit to Cafe Romina. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for their customers. The food was also AMAZING! Would 10000% return!

I’ve been traveling for over a week in the UK. Mostly Scotland. I’ve gotten the veggie Scottish breakfast almost every morning at different places. This is by far the beast I’ve had. Each bit is full flavor. What a delight.

The service here was friendly and there was a nice vibe inside. The coffee was okay, and the sandwich was alright too - just missing a bit more flavour.

We came here for breakfast as we wanted to try a Scottish breakfast. The service was fantastic and the kitchen also deserved high praise. Even if you just want to drink a coffee, it's worth a visit as it was sensationally good. Next time we visit Edinburgh we'll stop by again!

I just visited the place for the first time a couple of days ago. Food was delicious, but a bit too pricey for the size in my opinion. The overall experience was very pleasant.

We visited this morning for breakfast. Bacon roll was delicious, full English breakfasts were also great portions and good quality produce. Polite staff, clean and worth a visit.

We found it by chance and BINGO. We ate super well and the waiter was adorable

Really tasty but very heavy and too much fat (avocado, butter, oil, cheese). Wasn't able to eat it all but still felt sluggish all day

Great find among many breakfast/brunch options on this road. Good selection from the norm to interesting poached egg combinations. We had Smashed avocado with feta and olives and also mushrooms with balsamic, both with poached eggs on sourdough. Strongly recommend, delicious!

We had to wait 40 minutes for two sandwiches, and our waitresses attitude was rather condescending and I felt as though I was being judged. The food itself isn't really worth the price either, I got a Manhattan sandwich and it was okay at the very best, but not worth £8 and waiting 40 minutes..... I recommend to avoid it.

Fantastic little cafe. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Quite possibly the best brocoli soup I've ever had. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Staff are lovely.

A great little find in Stockbridge, perfect for a quick breakfast. Their Clibir by the Bridge tasted amazing, it was my first time having kurdish yogurt and it was delicious, 10/10 recommend. It wasn't massive inside but the interior decoration was lovely :)

Great breakfast rolls, absolutely loaded with filling and piping hot. The coffee is lovely as is the freshly squeezed orange juice. Friendly and professional customer service throughout. Highly recommend

We were only in Edinburgh for 4 days in November, but we came here for breakfast 3 times. The Shakshuka was amazing.

The place was empty on a scorching hot Saturday. (Should have realised then tbf). Sat down, had to grab our own menus. Were ignored by staff. Placed our order at the counter (other customers were table served). Sandwiches were small, dry and the bread was stale. Staff were more interested in chatting than serving. Had to go to counter again to ask about drinks (food was served without them). Many other better options in the area. Avoid

Living in Stockbridge for a month, I’ve been on a mission to compare breakfast rolls up and down the strip. Had a fried egg and black pudding roll here that was a clear winner. Arrived piping hot on a toasted roll. Really delicious! Great coffee, friendly staff, and homey decor, too! Thanks!!!

Very busy. We were seated but they asked us to move to a cramped uncomfortable table by the window. Brought the hot drinks but not the food, after 10 minutes I left but offered to pay for the drinks. They declined.

Popped in late afternoon on Sunday, staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. My daughter asked for a particular item that was not on the menu, and she was accomodated wonderfully. My burger was juicey and great, the chips are very good. And on top of all that the prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

We went on vacation from Spain and we went to eat there the first day. The hamburger is very tasty and that is why we repeat. We have breakfast a couple more times. A highly recommended and very cozy place

I recently visited this café for lunch, where we ordered pasta, a halloumi salad, coffee, and an assortment of cakes. Both the pasta and halloumi salad were quite pleasing, complemented by a well-brewed coffee. However, the experience was unfortunately tarnished by the quality of the cakes. They tasted as if they were not fresh, exhibiting a dry and stale texture which was completely unsatisfactory, particularly considering their price point. My raspberry brownie had a distinct taste reminiscent of something that had been in the fridge for an extended period, while the polenta and almond cake was so dry and hard that I couldn't even manage more than a single bite. We brought this issue to the staff's attention, and while they acknowledged the problem, they made no attempt to rectify the situation by offering to remove the cakes from our bill. This was rather disappointing, especially for a café situated in such a prime location.

We had an authentic, delicious and vegetarian Scottish breakfast! Lovely

Love this place. Food was fantastic -- great taste, served hot and timely. Even customized my 3rd meal there and it was delicious. I had breakfast and 2 dinners. Friendly staff and great manager that aimed to please every customer. Go there!!!

the sandwiches were spoiled I think we got poisoned the taste was very bad and the toilet was very dirty and smelled the service is very bad and the lady serving did not speak english took our plate from the table without asking us very rude behavior

Had two "burritos" to take away. The falafel and chicken were both super dry, and the flavour was unpleasant. Really disappointed, because I normally love Mexican style food. Won't be coming back.

Small space and pretty full on arrival but they accommodated our group of five no problem. I had the Scran on the Bridge and asked for my bacon and sausage to be well done. They were perfect for me which never happens anywhere else. The portion was huge with 5 rashers of bacon, 2 delicious sausages, two beautifully fried eggs seasoned to perfection, haggis, black pudding, portobello mushroom, beans and potato scone. All dishes arrived at once which was brilliant considering the size of the space for cooking and it was hot. Staff were lovely too.

Beautiful café serving up an array of delicious breakfast and lunch options, which is complemented by a very friendly and professional service. Excellent value for money — I've been there three times now. I can highly recommend the falafel wrap and mushroom bruschetta.

Lovely, friendly service, good menu selection, and plenty for vegetarians. My friend and I came for brunch. The coffee and orange juice were absolutely excellent. I had the cilbir, which was very tasty, but a little bit austere. I will definitely be back.

Lovely warm light, rustic feel. Menu has loads of options. I had the "bite to eat" italiano ciabatta and it was fabulous.

Got a £7 toasted “Sombrero” wrap for takeaway. Wasn’t able to finish it, it was soggy and squishy. Tasted like they marinated the chicken in Worcester Sauce for a week or two.

As always - great experience! We got our drink and food pretty fast considering how busy the place was. Both the waitresses were running around, being super friendly and attending everyone and never forgot us despite (again) the place being very busy! I asked if i could get an avocado toast without cheese/eggs due to my allergy and customise it a bit with something else and the chefs were happy to help! Very nice place and I really recommended it (although book on a Sunday as tables get occupied as soon as people leave)!

First class establishment in all respects: ambience; varied menu catering for discerning diners; friendly and helpful staff; delicious food with ample time to eat. We visited on a Sunday afternoon which by the time was quite busy, almost full - which is pretty normal in Stockbridge I reckon. We ordered a falafel wrap and a nicoise. They have a small kitchen and there were orders going at the same time. We waited for 45 minutes for our food - starving. We were compensated with fantastic food. The wrap was really good and the salad that went with it was very fresh. The tuna steak of the nicoise was incredibly delicious.

Not a bad little place to squeeze into (with dog). Coffee is good, but tables were a bit sticky and the crowds often mean waiting a while for the coffee to arrive, but hey, they are doing their best.

I am not exaggerating when I say I had the best iced mocha I’ve ever had in my life here. It was made by a very kind man named Magic. Definitely get your coffee from here

What a cute place in Stockbridge! Stumbled across this place whilst shopping and felt like something homey and im glad i stepped in. Im a picky eater and love good quality fresh food and i really enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup and oat chai latte (Vegetarian) The staff where really sweet. Thank you 🙏

Was looking for somewhere to eat in Stockbridge and recognised Miro from Portobello so thought we'd give this a try. The staff were very friendly, and the food was amazing. We didn't wait too long for food, it seemed a reasonable time to arrive. I highly recommend the Falafel wrap. Would definitely go again if in Stockbridge.

Full Scottish breakfast - they forgot the mushrooms and absolutely scorched the tattie scone to oblivion. We were expecting a simple replacement of scones/addition of mushrooms, but the waitress seemed reluctant to even do tha. It was only after some debate and me playing percussion off the scones that she grudgingly asked the chef to make those again for us and add the mushrooms already promised by the menu - these mushrooms then came out cold in the centre. The rest of our food and drinks were good, but can't make up for the overall pretty bad experience. There are many better places to go around the area, so don't waste your time here.

The lady was really friendly and welcoming. Food was actually surprisingly good for a small corner shop. I would recommend the pancakes with bacon. Tried them, loved them. Music was slow and steady, good for when you just woke up in the morning. The vibe of a chill breakfast was ON POINT!! Would definetly come again.

One of the worst dining experiences I've had. Ordered 2 croissants with cream cheese and a pasta and took an hour and 20 minutes. When we asked how long they would say "not too long" and not a definite answer. When getting the bill we asked if we could have some sort of discount and they made excuses up as to why the food should have been that long ... saying that they had to make the croissants ingredients up aka spread cream cheese on and wasn't done prior to us ordering. They also said they didn't give anyone else discount and their food also took a long time. Overall will not be back and saw many other customers have same experience whilst dining.
