Nice place for a pint or a reasonably priced cocktail. Good selection of draft beers. At 4.80 for a local lager - Stewart's e.g is competitively priced. Yards from Balfour st tram stop. So if you are passing I recommend a visit. Or just visit anyway!

Excellent site! Quiet, very good atmosphere and the waiters are very nice, attentive and friendly, they are also available to help you with the choice of drinks. In addition, he had left and at the same time you could also chat and be discerning at the bar. Without a doubt, to repeat, it's a shame that I'm a little far away, otherwise I would be reading a book every day, with my cell phone or simply enjoying a good quiz ☺️

Didn't have any food, but a good crowd and friendly bar staff. Only thing I would say is, Don't run out of brandy 😀. A good end to my evening. The pub quiz also sounded fun too. Well worth a visit.

Nice pub with a nice vibe. We stopped in during our travels and got a nice mix of beer, non alcoholic and cocktails. We were able to get a small table in the back a little further from the main bar. Very civil and able to catch up and hear one another. A DJ started when we were just finishing up and it was pretty good from what I had a chance to hear!

Popped in for some Juice Leith beer. Very, very tasty stuff! And their home made, hand bagged crisps are to die for! For such a small company they know what's what!

Great little bar on Leith Walk. Much more seating than appears at first glance, with a room through the back that can be hired for private functions.

Cracking bar. Brilliant service, even when busy. Cocktails were very good 👌 I didn't have food so can't rate that but it's a great boozer. Drank on here randomly over the years and it's always a great atmosphere.

I love this bar for many reasons but foremost among them is that they are very happy for you to bring in your own takeout. May I suggest pairing a Best Kebab from across the road with pint of Pilot Blonde?

Had my 40th birthday here it could not have been better. Staff were friendly, efficient and made mean cocktails. The atmosphere was great and the drinks are well priced. Free hire of the back area for your function/party is very useful. Like the range of craft beers with a local vibe as well as the range of drinks in general. Little.gem on Leith Walk

Fantastic little local bar with quiz nights!

For a non-smoking establishment I sure as hell left smelling like smoke. One customer kept coming back inside after a smoke break while still exhaling her cigarette smoke. The dog made up for a multitude of sins. I love a dog friendly place!

Great little pub, cosy and warm with nice decor. Decent selection of beer at reasonable prices. They don't serve food but allow you to bring takeaway food in from other places which is a great idea. Definitely recommend if you're looking for pubs in Leith

Great place to go. My first time there and had a great time with my lady. Drank a local beer 'Extra Black' and she a 'Williams Bros' which were superb. The staff were absolutely wonderful and half the reason we stayed for some more...

A great evening in a friendly bar.

It is a very nice bar but if you are a cider drinker like me there was absolutely nothing on draught. So quite disappointing. Sorry I forgot about the Aspall cider but in my defence I tried it once and my taste buds decided that it is the nastiest drink I've ever had. Please think about Inches/Simmonds/Strongbow. Anything but Aspall. Yuk.

The people who run the Victoria are friendly and great hosts the style is eclectic and welcoming with a good choice of drinks.

Staff were excellent, good to chat with, made everyone feel welcome. The entire bar had a wonderful atmosphere!

Have been a few times for a Peach sour - friendly staff. Warm and cosy too! Good choice of local beers

Great staff, lovely atmosphere and there’s always a good dog or two in the bar. They don’t serve food but they have great snacks and you can order food in from local places. This would be a good spot for a date or to meet up with a pal, it’s friendly and chilled, not too noisy but still relaxed. I recommend the mulled apple juice with boozey shot for a festive winter drink, it was delicious and came with spiced biscuits.

Friendly service. I had come across this place recommended on a Twitter blog and we travelled quite far to see it. Unless I was in the area I wouldn't go out my way to go there again. It's a quaint little pub, nice for a drink and they have a selection of GF beers too which was appreciated. You can take your own food and it's dog friendly

Lovely lady behind bar allowed me to use her bathroom facilities even though I was not a patron ( just a needy traveller.) I will be going back though because of the pubs relaxed atmosphere and friendliness.

What a pub this is. In these difficult times they are doing there upmost to stay open and serve the people of Edinburgh. When working in the area again we will be visiting again. You have a new customer for life.

Nice place for some drinks, we had some live music as well (thursdays) But not cheap at all, one wine and beer: 12£ 😅

Quirky décor. Lackadaisical staff (i.e. hired mainly on looks, not competence, professionalism or speed). Avoid if you want a decently prepared cocktail.
