Delicious food and a very friendly service! I've tried the lobster bisque and the venison brioche bun...Absolutely delicious! The location is a + too... It is located in South Queensferry, which is perfect for a nice walk. No pictures because the food looked so tasty that I ate it straight away. Tasted even better than it looked.

This is one Jolly James 😊 after the jolly lobster and chips. Had a great meal with the family while visiting South Queensferry. Owner found us a nice spot out of the rain in the stag head hotel👌 and delivered our meals while we watched the world cup. I would do it again and recommend to any who ask.

Great spot behind a pub. You order and can take your meal in the pub — making for a perfectly relaxing lunch.

Not even there. I enquired as to their location via Instagram and they didn't have the courtesy or etiquette to respond. Poor from a place which is held in such high esteem.

Extremely slow service from a very pretentious guy who feels the need to try and convince every single customer that his lobster rolls are cheap and he should be charging them more for it… I had to wait about 18 minutes which for a lobster roll is pretty ridiculous. The portion was literally minuscule as well, probably why it’s below average price. It’s definitely not below average price when you consider the actual lobster content.

Not the best lobster roll I’ve had. How wet, the brioche bread was good and so was the presentation. The service is slow. However, the person in charge was lovely and chatting with him made it better.

Not impressed at all. My partner had the lobster roll, a small breakfast brioche roll with not a lot in it apart from sauce. I had the nachos - this consisted of a handful of tortilla chips, a spoonful of black beans, 2 coriander leaves, 2 split cherry tomatoes, squeezy cheese (horrible taste) and literally a teaspoon of shredded lobster. It wasn't even enough to taste it. When I pay £12 for lobster nachos I expect lobster to be the star of the show. Thoroughly disappointed I'm afraid to say - the menu sounds amazing but the food just didn't live up to the hype. If I have one good thing to say it's that the chips were nice... For a £30 lunch it was a massive letdown.

A wee gem that packs a real punch. Extremely fresh and a fantastic restaurant quality menu with lobster, caviar and oysters. It even caters to none seafood eaters with things such as confit duck and smoked venison which I think rotate seasonally. The guy who runs it is very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is exceptional. This is a must try that's worth finding. Get here early as it sells out quick which says it all!

We had our first ever lobster. 🦞❤️ We were visiting Edinburgh for a weekend, spotted this little red lobster van, came back the next day and they were closed already because they didn’t had lobster anymore. We were lucky the next day. We had a amazing lobster rolls and complimentary lobster soup as well! ☺️ Service Was amazing! 🙏 very fresh ingredients and taste was amazing! ❤️ Very highly recommend this place of you want to have a fresh lobster. 🦞 we will definitely be back here when we’re in Edinburgh again.❤️
