Did not feel welcomed on arrival. The rooms were dirty with dirt marks on wall and carpet. Bottled water were inclusive? But they were not present in the room. Breakfast staff were not motivated. Overall felt dull and unwelcoming. Although there were one or two staff who were more polite and welcoming. Note that the TV has Sky, but no Cast to TV.

WiFi is terrible never worked, sky tv never worked no signal. service is terrible, asked to speak to a manager and ignored by reception. Told I was to get a call back and ignored. Used to stay here regular will not be anymore. Room service is dreadful told they will not accept my apple payment or come to the room with card machine and I would have to come down to collect a tray of 2 meals of food which is a safety hazard in itself carrying this all way up to third floor and worse being charged extra for room service. Receptionist could not have cared less. Will be the last time I stay here. Avoid

Sunday roast is epic! The place is stunning The food was absolutely amazing The staff couldn't be any nicer Its nice to leave after a meal and feel like it was worth every single penny and some!

What can i say. This is the 3rd dakota I've been privileged to stay at. I'd recommend a suite. A splendid amount of room, top bed and warm with adjustable heating. Well worth the extra funds. The hotels are absolutely lovely. The food is Michelin star I think personally. The staff are warm (not that I've cuddled them), friendly and hospitable. Personally unfortunately I think this ones a bit out of the city centre and a 20min uber ride into town but I'd still go back and take the 20min ride because I think it's worth the stay. That's all folks

The room was beautiful, cocktails amaze, but most of all want to say that the staff are an absolute credit to this hotel; they are all so lovely and welcoming. Thank you for making my boyfs birthday the best!

The staff is very friendly, checking in is easy, you don't need an online reservation (they probably still had enough rooms, lucky for me)

Lovely hotel😍 Went for our wedding anniversary getaway there and we loved every bit of it! I love the fact that it’s at an advantageous location. Easy to get around shops nearby (Tesco, Burger King) definitely coming back again with hubby I highly recommend it guys

Fantastic hotel. Staff were friendly. Our suite had a lot of space, complimentary bar, living room and we even had a visit later on with cookies for turn down

It is spectacular, I stayed twice and I will definitely return, in general everything was magnificent.

We arrived with with a very warm welcome, and opened the door of are suite to a lovely chocolates and a heart shape rose petals on the bed are stay for 4 days was magical and the food was out of this world!! We had homemade cookies on are bed every night. We would like to thank everyone of you that made are stay with you SO MAGICAL we will remember this stay for a very long time!! Rated rooms low due to very hard mattress and very soft pillows. Couldn't sleep checked out @ 4.30 am as I couldn't cope with the back ache.

Second time staying in a Dakota. The other one was in Glasgow. Always lovely. It's very clean, staff are professional & dressed so sharp. Reservations are a must if wanting dinner here. Always booked & the food is worth it. Great as always staying here. Would recommend & stay here.

This hotel gave me immediate super villain lair vibes but I was blown away by the experience. It’s very fancy and nice and the rooms were so clean and perfect, bed was REALLY comfortable and given water, tea, coffee every day. Food expensive but wasn’t here for the food. Can tell it’s aimed at business people and not holiday makers.

The hotel itself is great the staff are courteous and friendly.The room is well equiped but this is where the problem begins. This hotel advertises a free airport shuttle but there is a catch. We tried to book this shuttle 2 days in advance and were told it was already booked up. The only reason we picked this hotel was for the shuttle.By the way in my opinion a shuttle service is more than just a min van. Would not return or recommend

To be honest it was very good. Hot breakfast was more expensive than other places but cooked to order (not buffet) and was very good!

The Dakota was such a lovely stay on our last night in Scotland. 13 minute drive from the airport, lovely rooms, easy to get to location, great staff. Will book again when in Scotland.

Very nice hotel, great location close to main road, but quite pricey for drinks

The entrance is made to feel plush with a curtained entry and reception right in front of you with well trained staff. Lovely room, great mattress and comfy duvet and pillows. TV with sky at the foot of your bed. The shower was amazing! Only downside was the breakfast. The menu is a little confusing. Was it really £18pp for a continental breakfast with porridge?

Nice hotel, little bit overpriced food.

Loved our stay at the Dakota. Room was beautiful and every member of staff we interacted with was friendly, polite and efficient. View of the bridges from our room was stunning as well. The food was excellent - dinner and breakfast - but the only slight criticism we had was the chicken portion size. It was tiny and like a kid sized portion. My fish was huge and cooked perfectly, absolutely delicious. So, apart from the chicken dish, we would definitely recommend the Dakota and will be going back.

Can’t thank Kim enough. We had multiple rooms booked for our touring party. Sadly I did not have a room but Kim was kind enough to let me borrow one of the spare rooms to freshen up with a shower. Thank you so much, it was much appreciated. The rooms are to a very high standard and the shower was perfect!

Quite a modern looking hotel, within walking distance of Tesco superstore and Burger King. The room was comfortable, shower was great, bed was comfortable, colour scheme is not bright and colourful. Breakfast was well served, with a wide variety of options. Overall a pleasure to be here.

Very welcoming staff. Smooth check-in and check-out. Food was delicious. Signature suite was worth the money. Definitely will return for another stay
