The best restaurants in Fife Central Scotland

These guys really made our evening, a first visit to Dunfermline and we stumbled across this wonderful place. The service was above and beyond, food was brilliant and if you find yourselves in Dunfermline please visit. You won't regret it. They even brought out a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday to our friend. Really worth a visit.

Always Good Quality here, plenty Banter n easy to park ... very rarely drive past if can be helped 😆

Food is very good but had a weirdly confrontational exchange with the delivery driver er who seemed to be annoyed that he couldn't find the house. Probably won't order from them again simply because of this reason.

Really excellent place for a quick meal with my Dad and son(12), we all really enjoyed our meals, excellently prepared, and delivered with lots of fresh herbs, my son rated the Garlic bread in his top 2 ever! Looking forward to going back soon, and introducing friends and colleagues to this charming restaurant.

Couldn’t recommend the Chicken Ramen or the Beef Ramen more, absolutely outstanding!!

Having read a newspaper review my friend and I decided to take the 140 mile round trip to the Orangery for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed, The setting was absolutely perfect with a sea view from our inside table. The food was nicely presented and obviously freshly made in the adjoining kitchen. We had a good selection of sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, petit fours and cakes - oh and I can't forget to mention the fresh strawberries which had been dipped in milk chocolate and freeze dried raspberries which were delish! Staff were very friendly and we had the chance to talk to and thank our chef personally. The young team worked well through a very busy period whilst we were there. I can't finish the review without a mention of the very impressive toilet facility - I won't spoil it for you - something you need to see for yourself when you visit Dunimarle!

Aberdour nice wee place. The bistro okay, toilets a bit grubby used the disabled as wet floor in other toilet. Coffee fine food a wee bit bland.

Called in for lunch today, although extremely busy the staff handled a busy lunch sitting with great expertise and always with a smile. We felt very welcomed and counter staff were really helpful in our needs and choice of food. One young member of waiting staff did a wonderful job of clearing tables, seating diners in accordance of their needs, and serving lunches - all with a charming smile. The food in itself was delicious and fairly priced. I did think of the kitchen/cooking staff as plate after plate left the kitchen, speedily and looking freshly tasty. From experience I would say this is one of the best cafe teams I have experienced in many years. Working together, everything “just works” super smooth, super pleasant lunch experience.
