Beautiful setting & grounds are lovely. Unfortunately found the food over priced & disappointing. We had the Cullen skink soup & toasties, which I have to say was disappointing.

Was looking forward to lunch in Dunimarle. Hoever, soup was cold and overpriced. Food arrived in a very haphazard way. Coffee was disgusting and bread was stale. Ambience zero. Not to be recommended. Grudged every overpriced pennny of it. Have no reason ever to return.

So disappointing. Has visited before for breakfast and loved the setting so wanted to take the mother-in-law there for lunch on her 85th Birthday. Almost an hour after sitting down before the food arrived. Soup served without spoons provided. Platters disappointing, and wraps watery making them messy and difficult to eat. Sadly won’t be returning.

Been before and was keen to show my friend what a nice place this was. Firstly it wasn't made easy to book as no-one answers the phone( same experience first time) On being seated we were told there was no chicken, tuna or brown bread. There was also a very poor selection of cakes( couple of muffins and some scones). Drinks order came one at a time with one of the glasses broken. I ordered cullen skink as there wasn't much selection for sandwiches. It nothing like any cullen skink I have ever had in my life! One small piece of fish and couple of tiny bits of potato. The rest was an onion broth with no cream. Needless to say I didn't eat it all. When clearing the table the waitress asked if everything was okay. I told her about the the soup and she said " oh I don't know if that's how it should be" The staff weren't unpleasant but didn't seem to be organised or efficient. It certainly wasn't a great experience. However it is a beautiful setting and a lot more could be made of this place.
