The best restaurants in Tay Bridgehead Fife Central Scotland

Superb evening meal / Tea. Never been here before and with them being in a back street I was a little hesitant. However they exceeded my expectations and produced a superb meal of various dishes. I was really impressed. I would thoroughly recommend this Take Away.

Me and Gill went out looking for a new shed today but the guy we spoke to was useless and knew even less about sheds than I do with his best line in broken English “ yes it has 4 sides and a roof”… no mention of a floor though!! Anyway I digress I made the decision to pop in to the Eden Cafe at Gaurdbridge for lunch .Wee were greeted by 3 cheery wee faces who took our order. Gill had a Latte and a Brie and red Jelly toastie I had a bowl of lentil soup and a chicken mayonnaise sandwich and a cup of tea. Could have done with more chicken and mayo and less lettuce on the sandwich but it was very nice. Anyway, as we were leaving a member of staff ran up to me and said “ have you really retired from “ Pro Kerby”? I said “ yes I’m too old now” she burst into tears and said “my mum seen you win the Scone Open in 1985 and said it was the best day of her life” I signed a napkin and said “give that tae yer maw hen xx”. Had dinner on Saturday night poor quality

6 of us went in for a bar lunch today at 12:15pm, we ordered 2 tuna, mayo and mozzarella panini's, 3 steak and onion paninis, 3 coffees, soft drinks and a child's meal of macaroni cheese and chips. By 12:50 we were still waiting for the food and the coffees were finished. The child's meal arrived which was only lukewarm so was returned to be heated up. The tuna paninis eventually arrived and we were told the steak and onions was being cooked - we had finished the tuna paninis before the steak ones finally arrived. There was no mention on the menu of the steak being in a marinade and one of the ladies found it tasted vinegary plus she found a lemon pip on her steak. We finally finished our meal at 1:40 but none of us really enjoyed it because of the lengthy wait - and the way the food came in dribs and drabs. To be fair, the young man who served us was pleasant and very apologetic, he gave us refills of our coffee on the house and didn't charge for the steak and onion panini which had the lemon pip in it but the whole experience left us feeling we won't be going back

Always good food and delivered promptly

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Do NOT pass this shop up. The croissant is melt in your mouth, the sandwiches are delectable and the sweets,.. OH the sweets!!! The shop owner is so incredibly kind also. If I lived here, this would be a daily stop- hands down!

Absolutely disgusting soggy food, 2 very small lattes which was mostly froth and 2 crepes £18.40 which were horrible all went to the rubbish bin where they belong. Total rip of do not waste your money on this crap
