Had dinner here on a Monday evening as other places were closed. Mainly Indian food although they do have several European dishes. The staff were very friendly and the food was really good. Very reasonable price, will definitely return.

Just a quick review to mention this basic but very clean and friendly kiosk at the Southern end of the Tay Bridge. Take away only but lots of free car parking with views of the river and bridge. Range of prepared sandwiches and made to order hot rolls, coffee, cakes etc which were good value and definitely filled a gap! Recommended. Current traffic restrictions due to works on bridge mean access needs a bit of focus but worth the effort. Toilets also on site.

We have visited the Newport several times and it never disappoints. We had the 7 course tasting menu and all the courses were absolutely exceptional. Michelin star quality food at a reasonable price. The setting and views are stunning, cosy atmosphere and immaculate service. One of the best places I have ever eaten in Scotland or anywhere really

Personale gentilissimo, locale pulito e accogliente.

This is a lovely, friendly cafe in the community; it had been a while since I'd eaten there so was really hoping the food would delight - unfortunately not I'm afraid, the coffee was great but we ordered the goats cheese tart and it was really rather unpleasant. Very chewy and bouncy, very bland with the occasional (very) overpowering pop of strong goats cheese. Salad was under whelming too, hard under ripe tomatoes and sad looking bits of lettuce. I'll just stick to coffee in future!

Go every now and then and get the same thing to be charged different prices each time (always a takeaway never sit in) , only writing a review now because this time our lunch was £17.20 for a toasty and a panini, it was not a toasty it was cosy bread and the panini was dripping, the pasta and salad was wet and the crisps were soggy, not happy at all

The best fish and chips I’ve had in years, and my friends agreed. Everything made fresh to order so you can wait a while to get your food, but the wait is definitely worth it. Nice touch that you get offered a wedge of lemon with the fish supper, and the homemade tartare sauce is AMAZING! If you’re lucky with the weather you can pop across the road to the braes and eat your food on the banks of the Tay (maybe even catch a famous Tay sunset if you time it right!) Highly recommended.

A fabulous little cafe in an equally fabulous location. Welly/dog friendly it’s definitely worth a visit. We had coffees and cakes which were all fine. Just a note on the hot chocolate’s please make with milk not water - seriously rejected by 10 year old LOL Lovely decor and ambience.
