Brilliant food and brilliant customer service to match it, I can't talk highly enough of this place. 100% recommend!

Was eating chicken pakora and it smelt of fish… has put me off my whole meal and now want to throw up. I don’t like fish so it’s programmed my mind not sure if fish has been fried in the same oil but it really left a taste in my Mouth. Pizza was nice and chilli cheese bites but maybe go back to your old pakoras.

I eat a lot of takeaways but I can safely say this is the worst £39 I have ever spent no taste and chicken was dry as sand would not recommend

We put a big order in for 7 of us. Took about an hour which is normal for delivery. Pasanda is delicious as well as Korma. Highly recommend.

As soon as I entered the brightly coloured building I felt at home the smell of curry made me think of India. The chicken was so tender and juicy. The flavours was like a Mad rave in my mouth. Absolutely Sensational 10/10 could be the best curry I've ever had!

Missing food. On the road for 40 minutes. Cold and inedible by the time it arrived. Delivered it back to them and asked for a refund that I’m still waiting for. May be a one off but I won’t be back to find out.

Ordered a takeaway a few weeks ago. It was ready bang on time for collection. Food was tasty, although in comparison to our usual favourite (I won't name them here), the sauce was pretty much just sauce, there were no vegetables, fruit, nuts, etc through it - it was good basic fare with no frills which is OK for a quick takeaway, but I'd rather pay a bit more for something with a tad more "cuisine" to it. All in all. not bad but I can't give it a five star review.

Ordered a buffet for 30 people came bang on time and massive amounts to the extent our guest took a carry out 😎 , the curries from this place are second to none the korma which i dont normally like hits every taste bud , absolutely beautiful as do the pakoras, onion bhajis balti and tikka, 100% recommend excellent value for money 💙💙

Thanks to my daughters boyfriend ordering lamb instead of chicken I was gifted the lamb tikka masala, have to say it was one of the best curries i have tasted, I will certainly be picking up a curry on route next time visiting Wormit

The curry was Subline, every bite was like an orgasm in my mouth. The staff were so flirty and really bricked me up. Great fast service took 2 minutes to get my curry and nan. Delish!

Looked forward to trying Halloumi Pakora as I looove halloumi. It was disgusting, soggy and the batter not cooked and doughy. Whole lot thrown straight in hun. Pizza ordered was a hot one, i admit, I love jalapeños etc but it was uneatable due to vast quantities of jalepenos and all seeds left in. Too many to pick off and couldn’t taste anything after first bite. Couldt eat more than one slice. My partner had a grill box and one of the meats in the grill box was not only unidentifiable, uncuttable but also quite uneatable too. Chicken was ok on a positive but overall really disappointing as heard really good things about Taj Mahal and like to support local business but I really can’t recommend any of the food we had tonight. 🥲

Amazing food! Family stay up this neck of the woods so we were visiting and stopped in here for a takeaway. Customer service was outstanding, bright and jovial as if he loves his job! This in turn transfers into the food. What a great dinner. Love it and will definitely be recommending and coming back!

Just had to say, I have travelled the world in My Job, Middle east, far east and I have just had another phenomenal dish from the Taj Mahal Newport, which beats anything I have had on my travels.Thanks again . Always helpful, it might take a time for delivery but it is always worth the wait, understandable when the food is so good.

Delicious North Indian garlic chicken and Turka daal with rich and flaky paratha. Really friendly staff. A menu offering such a bewildering array of curries is often not a good sign, but this was remarkably good. Highly recommended!

Never been here before. Son drove me over from Dundee. £35 order and tried the poppadoms - as one does - immediately. Soft and stale. Took them back to complain gently only to be told “no one makes fresh poppadoms”. Bit of backchat and sniggering in the background too. No idea of customer service skills. Owner seemed very arrogant. Still to taste the main order but not expecting much now. Some people should just not be serving the public.

This is a time tested venue but the first time I have reviewed it. As with previous times, the food was very good with very good flavouring. The food arrived quickly and exactly when we were told it would arrive. Everyone happy with their food.

Telephoned our order in for delivery, advised 40 minutes, order arrived within that time, piping hot and fresh. Good was of a high standard and very tasty. Good value for money as well, ordered for 3 enough to feed 4 with extra left.

This is a really good Indian take away. The portions are good and really tasty. We had the tandoori mixed grill and a donner and chicken tika kebab it was great. Will be trying something different next time.
