New Shanghai in Fife

Superb evening meal / Tea. Never been here before and with them being in a back street I was a little hesitant. However they exceeded my expectations and produced a superb meal of various dishes. I was really impressed. I would thoroughly recommend this Take Away.

Tonight’s choices were Sweet & Sour Chicken Cantonese.....& Beef with Green Pepper & Black Bean Sauce.....both just brilliant. Chicken was tender, soft & delicious and the sweet & sour sauce was brilliantly balanced, just sweet enough but not cloying. Great ingredients beautifully cooked with crunchy vegetables so well integrated..... Have got to add, that every meal we’ve had since re-opening after lockdown has been really, really excellent....

Today I ordered a takeaway, I was informed it would be over an hour, however i did not expect expect to have to wait 3 hours! When it was finally delivered, there was not so much as an apology, or an offer if a partial refund. The food was also cold. I will not be using this takeaway again 🙁

Ordered Chinese takeaway and Fish and Chips and Haggis and Chips. Very generous portions, very good quality. Very good value

We live in Tayport and sometimes we take local shops for granted. The New shanghai is excellent and we are lucky to have it on our doorstep. Keep up the good work guys

We rented a holiday cottage in Tayport and decided to have an easy meal after the long drive. The food is exceptionally good and everything is freshly cooked to order. (King prawns are top quality)Best takeaway we've had for years. ..in fact we made a second visit before we left for home.
