Panas Restaurant in Fife

i order food from panas all the time. I have never had a bad meal or bad service They make sure my cater to my dietary needs and the portions are amazing. I will never go anywhere else. I love panas curries and nothing is to much trouble for them and they alway deliver within a decent time and food is always hot.

Great place, good food and service!

Visited for first time today and highly recommend. Very welcoming staff and nice clean, cosy restaurant. The choice of food is ample and compared with other buffet restaurants is a bit limited but the quality of food is superior to these larger establishments. The chilli chicken was sublime and everything was tasty and lovely and hot. We didn’t manage dessert. Such a friendly place and so reasonable for what you get. We will def be back.

Although it is not the classic eat until you burst, the food is delicious and the service is unbeatable. Very friendly.

Just had a delivery from panas Now I won't go anywhere else for my butter chicken Was so looking forward to it so when it was delivered I couldn't wait to start eating but was so disappointed was definitely not up to the normal standards It was really watery bland taste and chicken was chewy I hope this is not the signs of things to come cause if so I will need to go on look out for my butter chicken else where

Lovely clean restaurant with very friendly staff. Not a great deal of choice, but what there is, is very nice. Dishes were regularly restocked. Very reasonably priced.

First visit for us last night - delicious buffet, just the right amount of choice and everything was great quality. All the staff (including one of the chefs) were friendly, warm and attentive. Can't wait to go back!

We had a la carte, and it was really really good food! We had 4 glasses of wine, two starters and two mains for under 70 £. Nice friendly service and fair prices.

Panas is one of our favourite places to go for dinner, we always go for the buffet and think the curries are delicious. Service is fast and friendly, and good price food. Relaxed atmosphere too. Definitely recommend

Loved this restaurant. It offers an awesome buffet, with a good selection of starters, main courses and desserts. The place is simple and with a nice atmosphere.

We often get food from Panas Restaurant, we have never had a bad experience. The staff are nice and helpful. The restaurant has parking at back and next to Tesco

I went in today with my auntie after a long day excited for a meal. However , there was a small selection of food and small portions of desserts. I tried a bit of the pakora and it was bone dry so left it. When I came back from getting anothe portion the manager came up and questioned me on why I left the food. I was in the middle of eating and had to stop to explain myself on why I didn’t like it. The whole time we got evils and spoken about surrounded like vultures. We were charged an extra 2 pound for some reason and looked at like we were dirt. I wouldn’t go here if you value your money

Staff friendly enough, but food wasn’t great, definitely wouldn’t return! Not much of a selection and chicken wasn’t edible and the vegetable pakaro was the same, couldn’t even cut it!

We decided to go local for our anniversary meal, it was a good choice. Food was lovely, service was great. Will definitely be back thanks.

Having found myself in the sprawling metropolis of rosyth I stumbled over this establishment which I was pleasantly surprised . The food was fantastic staff were great all in all a decent gaff

We had a lovely time in Panas. Great food, lovely staff and lots of space for families. We will definitely go back.

Set meal for four ordered additional items. delivery came without the add ons phoned them to say for the person on the phone to quiz me. Delivery guy shows up only to question me at the door whilst hiding poppadoms and sauces behind my bins. We had spent 65 on the takeaway. Then he goes on to ask how the complimentary sundries and juice were which I also never received. This has happened a couple of time now.

Decent selection for buffet option. Very clean and organised. Staff polite and attentive. Been here a few times and will be back.

Absolutely excellent food and service. Booked to celebrate a birthday, 6 adults and 2 children. We all chose the buffet selection, so much choice, and all very fresh and refilled regularly. The children chose to eat chicken nuggets which were prepared separately for them, they enjoyed trying the chicken korma, the rice and the poppadoms aswell. The adults all took small amounts of everything to try, and this was not an issue, the staff were very attentive and cleared plates, ready for us to go up and try another selection. Desserts were, Cheesecakes and a favourite of ours, Banoffee pie, there was ice cream also. After we celebrated the birthday boy, he was even presented with a gift voucher for his next meal. We will definitely be back here again.

Food was good more Indian than Chinese but lovely curry

My husband and i went in here on Wednesday the 3rd April for a birthday dinner. After reading the reviews i decided to give it a try. HUGE MISTAKE.. My husband went for the Chinese part of the buffet to find that all they had was sweet and sour, noodles and something in black bean sauce.... not quite what i would class as a good choice of Chinese, especially when we were expecting some sort of curry eg chicken or beef. Plenty of Indian food but my husband doesn't eat it, i do although this wasn't the hottest either So my husband ended up with FISH AND CHIP with peas. The same as we could have stayed at home and had. I spoke to the manager after i paid the bill..... and explained that i wasn't happy with the service or the food. He did apologize but wasn't keen on talking loud enough for me to hear. I was told that not everyone wants Chinese food, I must also add the bill was paid before i spoke to the member of staff about this. So it wasn't as if i wasn't going to pay. I said you have Chinese food on offer but clearly doesn't state what it was. If i thought for a minute that is what was on offer for Chinese food i would have never booked a table. So be advised guys, anyone that is going to book a table here please ask what they have on offer when you call to book a table, especially if you are expecting a Chinese curry of some kind So i have only 3 words and that is AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This is why you shouldn't go by the overall Google review rating of somewhere. Gutted I chose this place for my Sunday dinner. The two guys working didn't smile the full time we were in, the chairs badly need replacing they just sink in. The toilets are manky. It was really quiet and think the food had been out a while. The chicken pakora omg was wee tiny cubes of chicken, the other starts were pretty dry. The choice of mains wasn't great and all the sauces have been watered down that much they are tasteless. The chicken dishes were really dry. The deserts were small gateau or cheesecake. They were OK but presumably bought in. I appreciate it can't be easy having a buffet restaurant and predicting how busy they will and how much to prepare but its unfair to serve the guests who do go food that's been sitting a while.

Buffet was extremely good value for money, food was high quality and delicious.

Place is so good, stopped counting how many times I have gone here now. Ordered onion bhajis, spring rolls, Thai green curry and naan bread. Everything was fantastic, their take on chinese and Indian food is fantastic and the spring rolls compliment both cultures through spices and taste. Would recommend anyone who likes warm service, friendly staff and delicious food to come here.

Food very dissapointing. Alot of it was not hot. Starters were the worst I ever had. Not much choice. We won't be back

Called for a delivery asked how long it would be as it is my beautiful wife's and I I anniversary Food came within 30 mins roasting hot curries were world class nan bread pakoras spicy onions exceptional!! I have been fortunate enough to be on this earth for 57 years In 40 years of trying thee best ever curry and delivery like ever ! A truly magnificent achievement outstanding please get your wallet and phone out right now! The best curry house in the UK right now non negotiable you tick tokers !! Xx

Good food, especially the mango chicken tikka masala 😋. Good choice of dishes for the price and desserts were great, although some fruit salad would've been a bonus. Tea and coffee included was a great plus. We had the buffet.

The food was good and tasty.. We had the all you can eat buffet which was varied and excellent value. The Nepalese staff were very friendly and attentive. Would come regularly if we lived locally. A very pleasant surprise and exceeded our expectations.

Went to this restaurant today and was truly disappointed with the food. Got told it was a great place with great food unfortunately I cannot agree! There wasn’t a lot to choose from The chicken curry was pretty much like water never seen anything like it.

Food was amazing 👏 my husband was the first to try the new bottled lager it was ace we visited 25.01.24 6pm the buffet is excellent and was replenished regularly 😀 will definitely be back 😀

We recently moved to the area and visited Panas for the first time like 6 months ago, since then we probably ate here around 10 times. Buffet option is decent, but in my opinion food to order is where this restaurant shines. Curries are amazing, meat cooked verly well, nice and tender lamb which melts in your mouth, chicken pakoras never dry. Every time we try something different and it is always a great experience. We highly recommend it.

Walked in, smells good and straight up service and help, sat at table, served with drinks straight away, 2 choices of dining from menu and buffet. I had a buffet for £14 full including deserts and drinks and food. Many options from asian,thai, to indian. Naan breads, chips, pankora, sweet sour chicken and more. Very good food and nice service and helpful. Recommend buffet.

Really great atmosphere. Very tasty, well prepared and presented food at a great price. Attentive staff, very welcoming and caters for children as well. Clean and well set out. We had takeout from this place and it was delicious- well worth a visit!

First visit here today and wasn’t disappointed. Excellent choice of Indian and Chinese starters with all the salads and dips to go with them, again with the mains a superb choice of everything my favourite being the chicken madras and lamb bhuna, there really is something for everyone here. Desserts again a good choice and was particularly fond of the rice pudding. Give it a go I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Hope to see you again soon.

I've driven past here multiple times but tonight was the first time I`ve went in. Very spacious and clean restaurant on entry. Greeted at the door by two pleasant staff and shown to our seats. Drinks ordered straight away and confirmation as to whether we were having the buffet or al a carte. Buffet every time for me! Drinks were served quickly. There was a good selection of food and although it was quite late on, most of the food there looked fresh and we were even asked if we wanted more of certain items. Great service. The food was great. Different sections for starters and mains, salads and desserts. A mix of Chinese, Indian and Thai. Service was exemplary, plates taken away quickly which is always a bugbear at buffet restaurants. Overall I would 100% return. It`s by no means not the biggest buffet in the world (say compared to Hot Flame in Livingston) but the variety was plenty for me and the al a carte menu is a great option. Plus, it`s right on my doorstep. Looking forward to my next visit already.

4 adults and a 7 yr old attended and we told the waiter that my grandson had previously eaten and would not be indulging with their food. He nodded his head. We got stuck into the buffet. There was a nice variety but there were some issues. Yes it’s a buffet so all restaurants skimp on the food they serve. 1. Sauce - all were very watery/runny 2. A Thai dis but no Thai rice 3. Greasy Nan bread We finished and asked for the bill. Yes they charged us £7.95 for my grandson to sit at the table. Quite flabbergasted and we will never go bsck

Came here for the buffet at 6pm which was open from 3pm till 9pm. Buffet had plenty of choice but they stopped refreshing any of it as soon as we entered and sat down. The quality of food was ok but not the best and there was zero choice of dessert becuase the fridge was empty. The employees were all nice enough and the place was clean and tidy, however the food let it all down. Would not return.

I've been there Twice now with my family, and overall I can't complain! Food was Great and Chef took best of their effort to make it tasty and good looking. Service is one of best ones I got so far, Waitress is asking you frequently if you're satisfied, on top of that you're being inform when food will be ready! As for atmosphere... I love the music and paintings on wall, but there's something missing... Nature, if they will add more Nature on site, I'm sure it will bring amazing Asian Atmosphere! A little Tree here, fake plants hanging from the celling above tables, or plants on the Walls could make a big difference, but choice of plants would be crucial here, as it is Asian restaurant, it has to be considered Asian Plant to make the atmosphere feel like you're visiting other country. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed!

We went after seeing an advert for this place on Facebook. To say we were suitably impressed is all true. Beautiful clean restaurant lovely welcoming staff. great selection of foods and an excellent price. We had the buffet and it had a beautiful variety of Indian options. And desserts were gorgeous. Will definitely return.

when i arrived and spoke to the waiter i could hardly hear what he was saying asking him to repeat everything 3/4 times, waited 10+ minutes for a water and constantly felt awkward like the staff were staring at me. I chose the buffet option and instantly regretted it, the curries so bland and absolutely smothered in onions, the potatoes were under cooked and there was 1 pakora up for grabs and they were not replenished. To top it all off before i left i used the toilet and it was too late when i realized there was no toilet roll and the fact that this wasn't the worst part of my dining experience really sums everything up.

Excellent food, fantastic quality and really super value. When times are tight, being able to come and sit down with friends and family and have some beautiful food, sat outside in the sunshine, and it not cost the earth is amazing. The chicken pakora are lightly battered and crunch yet soft. We have been coming her for years and feel so lucky to have this in the local area. Takeaway is also consistently great quality, delivery on time and the customer service is second to none.

Nous cherchions un restaurant à côté de notre hôtel après une journée sur edimbourg. Principalement des plats indiens de proposés. Nous avons très bien mangé pour un prix correct et le personnel du restaurant était extrêmement sympathique. Bonne expérience, je recommande.

Food was absolutely delish, staff very attentive, music was a bit loud as we had a person with hearing aids we requested it be turned down, they obliged immediately. Def will be visiting this place again

Great food and helpful service. Also catered for nut allergi, where they made a portion of chicken korma without nuts.

We were disappointed with the food on offer. There very few, if any, freshly made dishes on offer. Most, if not all of the sauces, appeared to come out of a jar, the chicken in the sauces came out of a bag already cooked which made pretty much every dish to be bland and unappetising. This is a cheap restaurant using cheap, not fresh ingredients and you can get better food from other Asian food establishments in the area. We went once, won’t go again.

First visit here, food was tasty, I had the buffet, lot's of choice.

Take away. Not great service, waiter very flippant, verging on arrogant, starter was mixed pakora , all vegetable pakora was burnt, beyond edible, poppadoms were soggy, nan bread was wet and cold (soggy also) Main dishes were delicious im not going to lie , just everything else let the meal down, so despite my delicious main we won't be back .

Really good selection at 15.95 buffet, starters, mains and desserts all really nice

Buffet was good with decent choice. Mango chicken tikka masala was particularly delicious. Plenty of choice for those who like spicy food and those who don’t. Lovely staff too - good with kids and quick to clear table

First time in here for a meal and I really enjoyed it, a reasonable selection of starter's and mains which were hot as the staff only placed a certain amount of food in at a time, anything that was empty or nearly empty was replaced with fresh food all of the same excellent quality, I especially enjoyed the Lamb Jalfrezi as the Lamb was really tender, a limited selection of desserts was offered ( ice-cream, cold rice pudding and a selection of sponge cake and similar sliced flans ) with tea and instant coffee all in all it was a great value for money all you can eat buffet, the proprietor had a great idea of a £5:00 supplement for those whose eyes are bigger than their bellies to cut down on food waste 👏👏👏

Lamb Rogan Josh, saag aloo and garlic naan were wonderful when we visited. Staff were very attentive and food was reasonably priced.

Panas restaurant I have been a few times. Lately the times of the restaurant have changed to evening only. Also the menu has changed a bit also. I feel that the place can do more menu wise. But enjoyable.

Went to panas last night with 2 friends. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Had a lovely night, great everytime we go. I've ordered a take away from them a few times as well and it's always on time and really tasty.

Lovely buffet. Great value for money. The buffet food was all cooked fresh and there was plenty of choice. Very tasty and lots of different dishes to try. Buffet and two drinks each for £20 per person, very reasonable.

Visited Panas last night for staff night out. It was very good.. Food was very good and plenty of it on the buffet. Staff were very attentive, pleasant and helpful.. I will return again to this restaurant.
