The best restaurants in Glenrothes North, Leslie and Markinch Fife Central Scotland

I stayed here for 2 nights for a work visit to a client nearby. This was my 2nd choice as my 1st was fully booked but I wasn't disappointed. The room was small but I knew that when I booked it. The room & hotel was clean & warm. The food was above average for what I expected.

Got my usual order of a fish supper and was disappointed with the portion size of chips. That's the second time in a row so hopefully next time will be better or I'll be giving Paul's a try.

Lovely breakfasts cooked to order, great evening meals & value. Both bar & restaurant areas are very good

Avoid at all costs!!!! Sarah who I spoke to on the phone at first seemed friendly but when I called to tell her that my aunts dish was wrong it all went down hill… she luckily agreed to send the correct order out. My uncles order was a rice dish with chicken and prawn (with extra prawns) had one prawn in it. I called back to explain and was told ‘sorry but we can’t do anything about that’. We then discovered that my aunts wrong dish was actually pork, so the whole family who strictly don’t eat pork (due to religious reasons) ate it by accident as we didn’t want to waste the dish. Finally, the ‘manager’ Sarah told us ‘the kitchen staff refuse to correct the order’. No offer of a refund just ‘next time you order we will send you the correct dish’ . WHY ON EARTH WOULD WE ORDER FROM YOU GUYS AGAIN???? Rude and disgusting tasteless food !!!! I asked for a refund and they told us ‘we need all the food back’ - of course we started eating as we were bloody starving, awful awful service. So in the end , no correction of food.. just horrible attitude from the call handler.

Dined out again on Rishi . Okay most of the food was frozen but Lovely big portions , very edible and , very reasonable priced . I recommend the steak pie . Beef succulent, pastry spot on . Ciara and all waiting staff very friendly efficient and polite .

Ordered food and given collection time. On getting it home we found the meal to be cold. Called shop immediately. The young girl who answered went to whoever is in charge to say. Could hear them denying this. The offer of replacing the meal was confusing as I was unclear if I was to return my meal which was already plated. I asked if we could have a voucher or some money off but was told he wasn't prepared to do that because it could be heated up. I wasn't looking for a full refund a few pound off next order would have been nice. I have used this takeaway fir years but with this attitude said I wouldn't be back to which it was clear that the young girl was told fine and to hang up. Piss poor service and attitude. I get that on a Saturday folk are busy but what a fabulous way to loose business. Luckily Glenrothes has plenty more to choose from. You need to take a good look at your attitude.

Have used tony's lots of times as they are the only place that deliver to my village. I won't be using them again. Every order has at least 1 item missing, then promised I will get it next time, but still waiting on a coke from 3 orders ago. This time, food was overcooked, burger was black and hard, the chips were freezing and too crispy for me. Have given this place too many chances.

Fine little place for a quick recharge after the chaos of shopping in the store, and the coffee is decent.

Ordered at 7pm, it is now 9:50 and food is still not here. Called and was hung up on. Don’t waste your money here.

Hemos comido aquí varias veces antes. Escuchamos la gestión de este hotel/ restaurante había cambiado recientemente, así que pensamos que lo probaríamos antes de ir de vacaciones de verano. Si acaso, las normas han prescrito. La comida servida una ensalada César, no estaba tan cargado en el menú y la ensalada de Haigs parecían un poco cansados, (es decir No recién hechas). Pedí algunos vinagre, pero terminamos yendo para mí mismo. Para ser justos, una comida en este establecimiento no quemar su monedero y un viernes por la noche, sólo tres mesas fueron tomadas. Gestión tome nota!. Se necesitan atraer 'vagabundos en asientos', o dormir con los peces!.
