The best restaurants in Falkirk Central Scotland

£2.40 for a roll and square sausage, dearest I’ve seen in Falkirk, to make it worse the sausage was dry and look warm. I made a comment about it swing expensive. I got in my car looked up to see the old woman came out to give me a dirty look, a look which was as dirty as her shop. First and last time I’ll go there.

I have been several times before and it has always been fantastic food. With the current movement restrictions in place they have just delivered to me, amazing. Great service, food is still warm from being made fresh today. Cannot say enough how good it is!

Popped in for lunch and we left full and happy. The food was lovely and home made. The staff were really friendly and made us very welcome. We will definitely return

Not my typical dining option. Would rather travel to larbert (tea house) or Hongs in grangemouth. Both of these are 10 times better and cleaner

Nice welcoming bar with a good selection of draft beer.

We had a takeaway, was bland, not much taste, very mediocre, daughter said sweet and sour sauce tasted like sweet ketchup. We were very disappointed. We won’t be back.

I received my order tha majority was fine. Unfortunately the 2 poppadoms looked like a bag of crisps

On arrival our room was tired, a bit grubby and very hot. Apparently the air-conditioning goes no lower than 19, but the room felt a lot warmer than that. Very lovely receptionist kindly brought us a fan. Unfortunately the chef rang in sick so there was no cooked Breakfast in the morning. We won't be back.

Got the orders wrong but rectified by giving free drinks and desserts. Food was typical of pizza hut and I prefer the American pizza huts food is far better

Very popular steak house. Good portion size. Expensive but your buying an experience. Warm, charming and cosy. Very meat focused food so if your a meat lover this is a good place. This venue sells boerawors which is a south african sausage cooked on an open fire. Off street car park down the lane. No need to book a table just arrive and wait in the nook for a table to become available Very limited vegetarian and GF options.

Lovely restaurant, separate gluten free menu. Big portions, tasty food. My daughter really liked her gluten free fish and chips. Great service, nice and clean restaurant and facilities. We definitely will be back

A good pub but they need to up graid the toilets

Could hear fabulous singing from the street outside on a cold Sunday January afternoon. Was supposed to be heading home but decided to investigate! Made to feel very welcome by small group of locals/regulars and 2 lovely lady bar staff. Had fab wee hour singing along, dancing and just blethering. Loved the tambourines - we have these for our karaoke too! Will definitely be back, hopefully with friends to enjoy more fantastic Falkirk hospitality. PS Would like to add we were only on soft drinks and thank you to gentleman at bar who paid for them.
