The best restaurants in Argyll & Bute Central Scotland

Idéalement situé à côté des quais d'où commencent les wildlife tours, pratique pour manger chaud après tout ce froid sur le bateau. Personnel +/- sympathique et efficace. Premier "fish & chips" que je goûte et franchement, super bon ! On sent que le poisson est frais et la friture n'est pas aussi lourde que celles que j'ai connues jusqu'ici. Frites bonnes, RAS. Sauce tartare se marie bien avec le plat. Chocolat chaud un peu petit mais correct. Tarifs un peu élevés, mais vu qu'est en zone touristique et en plus, ouvert en continu jusqu'à 21h (heure locale), c'est compréhensible !

I was the only person in the restaurant for most of my meal though three other groups did eventually arrive. The food was reasonable and substantial and tasted good. The interior is a little gaudy and has a plastic feel.

Been going here for around 6-7 years. The food is incredible. Best takeaway Indian I’ve visited. It’s a 30 min drive to collect so I always ask the girls who take the orders to double check everything is there. The girls are super nice especially in a very busy environment. Always spend around £50 each visit and always worth it. Proper food from this place. Get a proper curry from this place and you be disappointed. Tandoori mix grill is the best.

Adequate restaurant, Italian food, we visited on a Good Friday when almost all other restaurants were closed. It was relatively empty, the service was friendly and the food was okay.

Lovely cafe with a bonnie view. We enjoyed both the food and service. Very well run establishment with tables outside offered in strict order. The drive down to the area is beautiful and as long as you drive with courtesy you’ll have no problems. Contrary to a previous review there are a number of enjoyable walks nearby. We explored Cormonachan woods nearby and enjoyed spectacular views down to Loch Long. If you plan to visit it’s worth having a walk planned -even just a stroll through LochGoilhead just to make the most of your trip.

Good coffee, friendly staff, nice location, decent breakfast food. Everything you want from a local coffee shop.

The best chicken kebab ever! Delivery service was very quick. The meat was beautiful cooked and seasoned on a lovely nan with lots of delicious veg, both fresh and chargrilled. Yum!

Great service and atmosphere. Excellent simple food. I recommend the Portobello Mushrooms. The venison casserole is tender and juicy, served with 3 vegetables and potatoes, and topped with tasty herby dumplings. Delicious 😋

Visited here today for a meal. It’s looks amazing and is in such a beautiful location. The venue is spotless and decorated to a very high standard. Everything you looked at just seemed to fit and look good. When we arrived and asked for a table we were sent to Bobby’s then we got there we were then sent back to the restaurant. We again asked for a table and was stood here for a good couple of minutes whilst the member of staff just looked at her computer screen saying nothing to us. Then being placed at what must have been a walk way for the staff I got knocked into 3 times by staff whilst sat down. We ordered the food and 2 cokes asking that one of the cokes be placed into an empty glass (no ice or limes etc)only to be brought a glass with ice and lime, again we said an empty glass please a minute later a glass with lemon was brought. The food was fromThe point of order was on our table within 4 minutes. I ordered steak and sausage pie and my partner ordered chicken with haggis and veg. Both came with mash this was microwave mash the veg was not good at all but the chicken and the pie was quite nice. The gravy for the pie was amazing. The staff I felt were trying too hard and I lost count of the amount of times our table was visited different members of staff . Would I visit here again? No Would I recommend this place sadly not. I strongly believe in first impressions and my whole visit today just did not do it for me.

What an interesting range of Bier, not As I pointed to the second of the two cask hand pumps: Is the Deuchars on? "I think we have the GK IPA." The worst cask ale in the UK, then.

Used this place numerous times. On my last visit the food was inedible. 2 out 3 of us could not eat the food . Won't be back

Food was delicious and staff were fantastic. Big shout out to Charlie who is an asset to the company! All the staff were good though. My new fav pub!

Lovey food, got a small breakfast (it aint small) that came fast and you can see the sea out of the window 5 out of 5 would 100% recomend
