I'd say one of the best kebab shops in the area. Mixed donner calzones always a favourite of mine

Felt ill after very, very salty kebab. Chicken also burnt and powdery hot spices. And salt, loads of it.

Specifically ordered Diet Coke as I have diabetes. Got original coke with sugar. Also didn’t get extra topping. What have I paid for? Very sad

On the Thursday 15th I ordered a stuffed crushed pizza but the cheese in the stuffed wis disgusting and it wis out of date but we phoned them up saying to them that the stuffed crush pizza wis nasty and it might be out of date the guy said no it isn’t so am never ordering from them anymore

I've ate there before and the food was good! Went tonight, was charged and because they ran out of chicken was told i never paid, asked to hand the receipt back and got threatened by all the staff, horrendous customer service. Avoid at all costs!

Probably the best Kebab in the country, the Shish is got to be tried.

Used to be really good however they’ve increased the prices and cut down the portions. Ordered a 12” chicken tikka calzone however it would barely fit a 10” box

Fantastic, we had chicken doner, curry and biryani, first of all the best chicken doner i have had, finally! The curry is yummy, very yummy and the lamb biryani is so nice, so tender. A must go place!

The service is not good the staff where very rude and aggressive and food was not ready

This is one of the best take aways in Helensburgh, I just sometimes feel its a little expensive but I would agree that the food is of excellent quality. Staff are.aleay so friendly if you go in and nice delivery driver also 😋

Definitely the best kebab house on helensburgh. Everything i have had from this place so far has been amazing. Not too steep on the proces either and the portion sizes are just right. Looks clean, and the staff are very friendly.

Prices are an absolute joke get your heads on straight. £7.90 for a Chicken Pakora?

Quite disappointing! Spent £14.40 on a mixed kebab & Chips. The Chips were not even homemade, they were just a bag of frozen chips, so why are you charging £3.50 for Chips. On another note......when a customer says NO RAW ONION DUE TO ONION ALLERGY and you acknowledge that, don't leave bits of onion in the salad box where you have clearly picked the onion out 👍 allergies are not a choice!!!!! *waste of money *don't listen or adhere to allergy practices *Chips are rubbish for the price

Came here after a friend was giving it big licks about how great this place was… very glad we did, it was delicious and I wish there was a place as good as this near where I live in Fife. Donner meat was fresh and juicy, separate salad to allow more meat on the pitta bread. Salad was as fresh as possible with a wedge of lemon in too. Absolutely divine food. WILL BE BACK

The service is swift, the portion size is good and the staff are friendly. This is my go to takeaway

Extremely Overpriced now, which is sad because I loved their food but now its ridiculous. £9.20 for a chips cheese, mixed donner?! Used to be as low as £6.50... and thats not including all the fee's ordering online....

Great customer care but prices are getting beyond a joke now £12 for pakora n chips, think it's about time for a new kebab place. If they never had so many staff I'm sure the prices would be cheaper. N I should know worked in similar shop in London

Was in Faslane for 3 weeks in 2014. I must have eaten their pizza as take out on the way back to Faslane at least 7 times. Really good place bud away in a corner of Scotland.

Wed 5th Jan 2022, Disappointing food experience: .chip's tasted dry & rubbery .pizza base burnt & doughy .garlic bread dry & burnt .salad excessively watery & over too much vinaigrette . chicken tekka kebab was good .donner kebab was good Don't know what's happened recently as they used to be an excellent takeaway but recently it's gone down hill.

Best curry I've had in Helensburgh so far. 2 meals so far, both delicious, fresh and plenty hot. Crispy poppadoms, crispy batter on pakora and tikka-ed lamb to die for.

Ordered a pizza for my wife plus a kebab for me, kebab was missing salad, it was mear, red sauce and red onions. Mistake this time I hope.

Not that great. Ordered a garlic bread. Expected it to be like a pizza. Got a baguette. The meat pizza was overloaded with cheese. Picked some lumps of cheese off it. The chips were probably the best bit.

Fresh and authentic curries. An absolute gem of a place.... I should really be keeping this to myself because it does get busy. Order early and reap the rewards with a delicious meal.

Have to go to back of shop to order & pay. Lassie at till no greeting, "what can I get you" Angry wee man going at 100 mph and spouting something in Turkish. 11 minute wait for a doner and not the best. Only good thing doner was straight of the grill and piping hot.

Inconsistent portions on currys tikka pakora kebabs and chips. Pal recons you only get good portions if your new or they not seen you for a bit

found a whole dog in ma curry and a goldfish in ma drink was nice tho, eh a like yer food more than a like my mum, sound bro

Great food cooked in front of you nothing to hide

Been going regularly for a while now, food always good staff are great to talk to, never had a bad experience. Can’t fault them one bit, I would highly recommend getting, kebab meat-chips-cheese-curry sauce, it’s a great combo and for the price/portion ratio, 10/10!!!

Im a regular for the great value tea time special. Also they do a great spice chicken and pineapple pizza. Staff always very friendly

Burnt pizza, miserable staff and massively overpriced! The he/she that takes the orders is so miserable i felt like Jimmy saville was going to jump out the till and threaten to touch my jalapeños with his hilarious meat! Seriously though... It may be convenient, it may be near the train station, it may even be reasonably priced.... I however... would rather spend my money in a takeaway, that not only offers reasonable pricing/service comparison, but also has less risk of a miserable middle aged receptionist, with the personal skills of cat food, trying to sell you a burnt pizza for £12! Shop elsewhere

Always a decent kebab and very well priced. It's not expensive, you get quality.

Our cheesy garlic bread with olives was burnt. The pizza we received instead of a calzone was burnt also. When I complained, I was told I agreed to the order when it was read to me, only the price was read back to me. Overall unsatisfactory.

Lovely food - chicken pakora is the best I've had,served up with salad & a wedge of lemon,also the sauce is perfection...not to hot,not to mild! Actually think I'll order a large portion after writing this,Mmmmmm...😊💭

Main 'boss' has a very poor attitude to both staff and customers alike. Food used to be very good and we went every Friday. Now portion size is not worth it and the business runs better when the boss man is not present!

Best takeaway in Helensburgh! Have eaten here for years. Never had any issues. Very good menu, amazing staff and reasonable prices. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

Placed an order at half four in the afternoon to be delivered at half six, was told it might arrive ten minutes either side of that time. When it was 20 minutes late I phoned up and was told it'd be another 15 minutes, didn't make any apology or attempt to compensate. They acted like it was someone else's fault and the food ended up 45 minutes late. Also expensive for what you get in Terms of quality.

We travel from Dumbarton just to get the curries out of here. Have been for years. Lovely people and the food is generous and quality. We usually order the set meal for two and it is plenty even if there are three of us. Also, the Flamingo Special Pizza is amazing.
