This shed is miles down a single track road, in a beautiful setting but hardly in a commuter belt. It is so well stocked. Cakes - so many to choose from, hot and cold drinks, ice cream, fudge tablet. The caravan park further down the road must help with trade, but it is a great place and I hope it continues to flourish and the baker continues to bake (Oh and the cakes and tablet were fab).

Love this place great home made food. This is a favourite stop off when up this way. Fab cheese burgers and lots of cakes. Not only food, but garden centre, gifts & sheds. Will be back again soon.

I was just passing through and stopped here for breakfast, what a find! Two breakfast rolls (one with two fillings) and a large americano, only £7.50 and absolutely delicious! Lovely ladies working there. Food is to-go. They also do cold rolls, paninis, chips, macaroni etc

This is my favourite place for late lunch after working in Lochgilphead. I had the falafel burger. Absolutely delicious!! Must try their coffee and walnut cake ! Highly recommend for a lunch stop if you’re anywhere near Inveraray. You’ll not be disappointed! Update: another visit in October. The schnitzel on the specials menu was absolutely delicious. The chips were crunchy and the garlic butter added a rich flavour although it got melted with the hot chips. Schnitzel was crispy and soft inside. All in all, very good lunch! Update: Another visit last week. The fantastic Cajun chicken burger is BACK!! Delighted!! It probably should be a regular on the menu because it’s soo good! The triple cooked chips are crispy and very very tasty! Great job chef!!

Open-air beer garden, with wooden tables (a little small) but the place is worth it, I ordered 2 beers, the waiters were very nice, knowing that we were foreigners. The music they play is very lively. I recommend it to you, when you are in town in passing.

My wife ad I visited for lunch on Sunday 13th April. Whilst our meals were very good, the service later in the mea became rather questionable. Once I had finished my meal - hardly finished my last mouthful - a server seemed to swoop toward the table to clear the table asking 'did we enjoy that.' My wife did remark to me as the server left with our plates that she may have wished to finish her chips but the swift actions of said server barely gave us a chance to think let alone say anything. A few seconds later the server returned and deposited the bill on the table - I hadn't yet asked for it. On opening the bill it became apparent that it wasn't our bill and luckily I was able to hand it backto her as she was attending the next table. It transpired that the bill belonged to the next table who had already had the wrong meals brought to them a little earlier. Small points perhaps but we were left with the impression that some attention to detail was lacking. I accept that the vast majority of reviews are positive but this felt harried and thoughtless.

I booked this for our Hogmanay family dinner for 9 people , the restaurant itself is nice and overlooks the lovely bay. However the food I would give no more than 4 out of 10. The starter of scallops was overcooked and the side of Kale was deep fried (it turned up late as they forgot to give us it with the scallops ) both not pleasant , the only stater that got any pass marks was the Cullen skink . Despite us preordering our meal they still got the starters mixed up and forgot to cook the requested fish cakes which meant that one person had to wait a further 15 minutes while the rest had finished their starter. The main courses were average and nothing special I would say bordering on disappointing . The best course on the evening was the desserts, everyone liked their desserts. Overall it did not put a damper on our night as it was Hogmanay and we still had time to go back to our lodge and cook or eat something better before the Midnight bell. Overall it was nice to get out and try a different restaurant , unfortunately this one did not supply what I would call good tasty food .

We had lunch here several times, based on a recommendation from our accommodation, during our stay in Lochgilphead in October 2024. Simply put, we absolutely loved it! Friendly hosts and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend the bangers and mash and cullen skink. As it seemed many restaurants closed early in town, and based on our sightseeing schedule, the hosts were gracious enough to prepare “to go” meals for us which we ate for dinner on several occasions. The food here was a highlight of our trip to Scotland and we will absolutely come back to this restaurant on our next trip to the area. Thank you so much!
