I was just passing through and stopped here for breakfast, what a find! Two breakfast rolls (one with two fillings) and a large americano, only £7.50 and absolutely delicious! Lovely ladies working there. Food is to-go. They also do cold rolls, paninis, chips, macaroni etc

Really cheap price. But average quality. Everything is prepared and frozen before preparation. It helps but that's all.

Swift food and friendly service from the staff. Food was of good quality and couldn't be faulted for the cost. Staff seemed to know many of the locals and the chat and atmosphere whilst waiting was good.

I love this wee pit stop takeaway cafe. It does have a small table with seats and on nice days a couple outside. But the food is cheap and always brilliant. The place is so busy but it's always the same two ladies behind the till rushing round making lots of orders.

We had a late lunch at the Coylet Inn. It's a cosy rustic place with a pretty fireplace and great views over Loch Eck. They have lots of pizza variations and burgers. We had a lovely tamato soup and calamari fritti as starters, and then fish and chips, classic pasta and a venison burger. The staff is very efficient. You pay at the bar that is next door to the restaurant.

On a solo sailing trip to Tarbert I was fortunate to get a call back confirming that a table had now become available. I don't normally do fine dining without the wife. My starter of Scallops in garlic butter with Samphire was excellent, no, they were better than excellent, followed by delicious Cod Fillet in sauce. The team were welcoming and the whole dining experience was first class. Meeting a friendly and knowledgeable couple from New Zealand made the "Dinner for One" a more relaxed and enjoyable evening. Go there, eat good food, get great service, and meet nice people.

Marvelous honesty tea tent set up by local school students in a fantastic setting. This was the most unexpected treat on our cycle tour along Jura's coast
