Thank you to the lovely people at Eat Street at the Stadium - they went above and beyond to make battered fish and French fries for me - different from their current daily special of breaded fish- excellent customer service. Food was delicious! Thanks a bunch guys - great little find.

Loaded fries 🤤 large portions could share easily with another. Have tried a few home made soups which were fab. Daughter enjoyed their turkey roast with all trimmings. The breakfast is large

Since the change over I'm very disappointed. This was a place I could order for a treat for my children. Now they will no longer eat the burgers as they are just not the same as the old ones, also they won't drink the milkshakes as they also are no closer to the same which is a shame. Also they used to have amazing deserters which every time I've phoned they don't have them so I presume they don't do them either. No problem with delivery, just very sad and disappointing in the change over results.

New owners and they are doing amazing. Soup was on point, didn't need to add any seasoning, was perfect. Buffalo wings 👌 hotdog with fried onions, was lovely. Would highly recommend!

So ordered 3 breakfast with extra hash brown, 2 shakes and a bottle water. The food came and the delivery driver said it was 13.50 but the actual price was 32.50 that he took off my card. The breakfasts had hair in them. I phone the restaurant and told them that there was a long blond hair in the food. The chef said she didnt have dark hair but another staff member had blonde hair. I told them that I would bring the hair back as the chef asked for proof. Took the breakfast with hair in to the restaurant and the chef said I put the hair in myself! Tried giving me money back to make me happy. I never once asked for money back but wanted the issue rectified! She became very aggressive and confrontational. I explained it wasnt even about the money despite being charged too much but they fact that there was hair in the food. I explained she didnt even ask to replace the breakfast and she became embarrassed straight away! I left the shop with the chef trying to chuck £5 at me which I did not accept. Would tell everyone to steer well clear. Absolutely filthy inside and out. Disgusting service and was charged over the odds for vile food with a side of hair!!!

Fantastic food, incredible prices and friendly, down to earth staff. Hand's down one of (if not) the best places in the town... Definitely try the milkshakes (oreo, mint-oreo, malteser, etc - the kids love the bubblegum one).

On a solo sailing trip to Tarbert I was fortunate to get a call back confirming that a table had now become available. I don't normally do fine dining without the wife. My starter of Scallops in garlic butter with Samphire was excellent, no, they were better than excellent, followed by delicious Cod Fillet in sauce. The team were welcoming and the whole dining experience was first class. Meeting a friendly and knowledgeable couple from New Zealand made the "Dinner for One" a more relaxed and enjoyable evening. Go there, eat good food, get great service, and meet nice people.

This was our first ever trip to Oban (despite being Scottish my whole life... I haven't always lived here) and it was a lovely town overall. We popped into the Oban Chocolate Company to grab an ice-cream for the walk back, but ended up getting chocolates instead as the ice-cream flavour choice was limited at our visit (which could purely be a stock issue). Another reason we popped in here was because it was dog-friendly. The chocolates we bought were really nice and we enjoyed them with a cup of tea when we got home later that night. The flavours were just right, not overpowering, and the temper (snap) of the chocolate was excellent. What more can you ask for? There is a selection of prints and original artwork by Helen MacKenchnie (wee_adventure_art) which caught our eye, and I very nearly bought one, but being a print I'm going to find the artist and see if the original is available. This is just personal preference. I do have to add, being big tea drinkers we looked at the mugs for sale (as they appeared possibly local stoneware) but a quick flip over revealed "made in china" which was a bit disappointing and so they were left. For me, I'm expecting local items (like the chocolate and art) from places like this and had the mugs been from a local producer (I know there's one in Lochgilphead, because I tried to make my own there) then we would have likely bought them. Overall, a nice shop / cafe with great chocolates, dog-friendly and right on the shore front. When we're next in Oban we'll definitely pick up more chocolates to enjoy.
