Popped in for a glass of wine before checking in to our hotel, but was tempted by the varied menu. Sea bass, Pattas bravas and courgette and carrot small plate, topped off with a cheese board, attentive service and delicious and fantastic food. Highly recommend.

Great attentive service and super food. Only downside was service charge being added automatically. I really don’t like that. A tip should be at the discretion of the customer based on the service they received. Apart from that, highly recommended.

This is a wonderful place for lunch with great gluten free options. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. Thank you.

Best meal of our trip to the West & Isles of Scotland. Had the Ocho Florentine and it was just delicious - over and above the pretty presentation! Kudos to the chef. I should add that the wait staff was welcoming and warm. Highly recommended.

Called in for lunch, welcoming host very attentive, sat at our table and menus given, In my opinion the options were limited to say the least, we decided to order we both decided to have the ploughman's as described cheddar cheeses tomato onion and chukney with a side salad we both ordered a side of chips, whilst we waited I had a local beer and my wife had a house cocktail. The food arrived and very smart and appetising it looked, like something from a restaurant book, the sandwich yes sandwich was toasted and everything inside was melted on closer inspection no much substance, was disappointed to say the least, I feel if your going to charge the prices that you do please make sure that you supply what you say and the customers are happy, one saving grace the portion of chips albeit over priced were nice, to sum up the restaurant is lovely the service excellent but the menue choices lacking and the actual food inside the sandwiches nice but would have preferred the ploughman's traditional, and finally watch out for the service charge not discretionly just added to your final bill 49 pounds for two toastys and two drinks at least DICK TURPIN wore a mask

A warm, pleasant greeting on arrival and quickly directed to a table. The service was polite, efficient and waiting time for drinks and food was quite short. The food (black pudding & chorizo potato cakes with poached eggs) was excellent. Full of flavour and cooked to perfection. For this food alone it’s a worth a trip to Inverary. Don’t stop here and you’re missing an absolute treat. The views out of the front are wonderful but this food is what makes this visit even more special.

A delicious Valentines Night. A lovely setting, delicately decorated and uncrowded. The special cocktails were special. Had the black pudding pancakes to start followed by Seabass Fillet and a Chicken dish, bread and butter pudding and a brownie. Very well presented and prepared with lovely little touches.

Stumbled across this absolute hidden gem and managed to grab a last minute table for lunch. Excellent menu with a good amount of choice as well as some daily specials. The lady serving us was so friendly and attentive, despite it being really busy. The food was delicious and fresh, I would really recommend this to anybody in the area. We stopped en route from Tarbert to Loch Lomond and it broke up the drive perfectly.

What a beautiful cafe. The waitress was warm, friendly and kind. She immediately got a bowl of water for our dog, showed us to a lovely corner table, where Bernie, the dog had a warm spot near the log burner. My daughter asked what teas and milk were available, explaining she has a severe dairy allergy. The waitress checked the oat milk, advised it contained gluten (which my dau is also allergic too). She suggested a herbal tea.Wvrn though the teas were listed in the menu, she told us what was available. We ordered soup and sandwiches which arrived beautifully presented and the waitress reassured me without my having to adk, my daughter's food was all gluten and dairy free. Great food, lovely atmosphere and lots of friendly chat. It was the best brunch of the week. Lovely Christmassy atmosphere. Not rushed to leave even though a big pre-booked party arrived. Highly recommend.

Only one word for Ocho - Fantastico! My husband is in 'the business' and rarely has anything good to say about restaurants we visit. Today he said 'we will come back to this one!'. Fabulous staff, exceptional service, setting and food.

A real find - fine dining experience in Mull. Each course of the tasting menu exquisite. Each paired wine spot on. Our hosts explained each dish & wine. Inventive use of local products beautifully combined to give great textures & flavours. The crystal pastry starter looked magical. The accompanying oyster sorbet in a cone refreshing. Duck perfectly cooked maintaining a little pinkness in the centre & the berry jus great. The dessert a wonderful combination of sweet & sour.I'd go every week if I lived on Mull.

Brilliant place. The couple who run it are really friendly and happy to discuss the food and offer suggestions. We had venison burger, cajun chicken wrap and shared chips. Portion sizes are big and the food is delicious. The chips are great - much better than those served at Talla Na Marra. I've never seen a wrap wrapped the way it was - more like a crepe, but there was lots of chicken on it as well as cheese, onions and salad. Really tasty. Venison burger was huge and melt in the mouth. Add 2 cans of pop and it came to less than £20 for a filling, hot, tasty meal. Couldn't recommend Island Bites more highly.
