Absolute wee gem. Proper Indian food in the most unlikely of villages. I had monkfish and prawn keralan curry. Fabulous dips for the papadums, great bhajis and lovely service.

Excellent food and very accommodating with regards to the menu. Service is good but the atmosphere may not be to every one's liking but I found it good and quirky to see your meals being made for you in real time as the kitchen is right in the restaurant area and you can talk to the chef who is making your meals.

A lovely restaurant offering a warm welcome to visitors and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you goes to Raj and his team.... 5 Stars!

Went for a family dinner. Exceptionally clean restaurant, great menu selection, delicious curry, attentive staff. Lovely touches like a fresh hot cloth to clean your hands with afterwards. Will certainly be back.

Amazing Family Meal. Had the a great family birthday meal at Fyne Raja. The food was absolutely beautiful - so tasty and full of flavour. The sizzling lamb chops were out of this world! The whole experience was perfect and made our special day even more memorable. The staff were super friendly too. We'll definitely be back! Can't recommend this place enough!

What a find this was, while my friend and I were mid ride on a cycle trip. We weren’t dressed for dinner, having been cycling since 8am that morning. Raj and the rest of the staff gladly welcomed us in anyway. We ordered the Chicken Makani and the Kashmiri Lamb, plus Nann and rice. The food was outstanding, one of the best curries I’ve eaten for a very long time. The meals are cooked at the side of the restaurant where you can see them being prepared, which shows how fresh the dishes are. Finally the price was very reasonable. If I’m ever in that neck of the woods again, I’ll certainly be planning a return visit.

Honestly one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been too - I wasn’t expecting to find it in such a beautiful location! Fabulous food, really friendly, a great night out

What a fantastic Indian Restaurant! The food was absolutely superb. Nearly everything on the menu is gluten-free, which is brilliant. Starters, vegetable pakora, and chicken pakora were delicious. They were followed by Lamb Rogan Josh and Raj Punjabi Special. The lamb was so tender and just melted in your mouth. The layer of flavours in both dishes was wonderful. Amazing. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere and ambience were really nice. I just wish we lived in Tighnabruaich instead of 270 miles away! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Quite honestly the best lamb rogan josh I have ever had!. The balance of flavours were delicate but still packed a punch.The service was efficient and welcoming and we will most definitely be back!

When I read all the 5 star reviews, I thought I’d maybe just leave writing my review, but then that wouldn’t give any constructive feedback as we didn’t receive a 5 star meal. So perhaps we just had a bad meal, it happens, but at the price, that’s a sore lesson! Firstly I just want to say our waitress WAS five star, she was absolutely lovely and great with the kids. Decor lovely, easy to book etc. But the actual meal was certainly not five star. My husband likened his meal to a spicier version of an Asda ready meal, and I honestly can’t say he was wrong. It didn’t taste like the meat had been marinaded or anything, more of a put together meal with the ingredients you need but not with the right method to have a decent curry. The naan was completely flat with doughy bits instead of the bubble pops you normally get through it when it’s light. Lastly we were disappointed with the price as we had looked it up before going and the google menu needs updating as the prices are now more than 20% higher than listed on their original Google details eg house special was £38 now £45.95! £4 on top of curry price for one boiled rice with no options it’s the only rice sold. We stay in Glasgow so used to city prices but these are the capital prices! It was not worth the money but like I say, lots of other people have liked it, but I wouldn’t be back sorry.

Lovely restaurant, very clean and good environment. Good to see the menu expanding now it's been established a while. Highly recommend the lamb chops or other meats on skewers. Worth calling to book- can be busy.

Coming from Glasgow, we are very privileged to frequently dine at many esteemed Indian restaurantsincluding the Shish Mahal, Mother India and The Liitle Curry Shop. Fyne Raja is right up there with the best in terms of its freshness, taste, choice, service and atmosphere. Well worth a trip to try. Book into one of Raj and Anita's choice of lovely rooms upstairs for everyone including the driver to sample the extensive range of drinks, especially the gins! A real gem of a find in the Secret West Coast. Not to be missed.

We had a wonderful dinner at Fyne Raja. We tasted a selection of the starters, the pooris were incredible. The menu is a good size with plenty to choose from. Being able to select the level of spice of your curry is a really nice touch. All round a fantastic experience, can't wait to go back!

I have had many Indian meals in my time but none so uniquely delicious as served at Fyne Raja. Truly magnificent in every way...very tasteful surroundings and brilliant service. Well worth travelling for...and unmissable if you are lucky enough to be in the area.
